My mother is using retinol since 2 years and she is quite comfortable with it, she got no irritation, no purging, absolutely nothing even though she used minimalist mid strength retinol. Kindly give the details of the retinol you're using that has higher concentration and is more effective.

This is such great advice! I’m on my second week I have learned quickly that using it every day was horrible idea. Also I can’t bring any extra moisturizer down to your neck it pulled some adapelene down and my neck looked like it had chemical burn. I’m still healing. Its like red alligator skin. And I’m only using adapelene! I feel bad for your finger where you have the retinol, it’s going to be sooo dry and peeling tomorrow. That another thing I notice. Even after washing my finger.

hello , i am 47 and in last two years, i have seen lot of pigmentation on my nose and cheeks. also the face which used to be firm and lifted even at 45, looks dull and droopy with deep folds near the mouth. What should i use. please suggest. I have a fair skin. I have used one tube of Retinol 0.3% Dermaco. I dont c any difference. I also use Kumkumadi oil, Vit E and few other oils as well. WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST ?
One suggestion - instead of wasting your expensive cream, you can show the quantity of the cream by using some moisture and so u can later apply it on your hands.

I am 46 years old n can say I hv normal to oily skin, with no acne but yes white heads in my nose area. I hv been using Dr. Reddy's Retinol capsules for almost 15 days now, least realising that at my age I need Retin A or Tretinoin. Thank u for educating me on that. My night routine is:
Cleanse
Tone
Hyaluronic acid
Retinol (Dr. Reddy's)
Moisturise
Vitamin E oil (2-3 drops)n cold pressed Almond oil (2-3 drops)
What I want to know is that can I replace Retinol with Tretinoin and let the rest of the procedure remain the same? I want to continue the use of hyaluronic acid as it's doing gud to my skin and I Hvnt experienced any irritation with the current retinol that I'm using. Please advise.

Hi Mala, you should not stop retin a. Retin a benefits cumulatively. THere are no adverse effects at all BUT DONT FORGET THE SUNSCREEN. YOu can have a look at my retinoid from Minimalist video for details on why su7nscreen is important.

I have been using EGA cream and Dermaceutical 1.5% retinol ( both separately and one at a time) Id like to introduce retin-A into my regime now. I’ve seen a video of yours where you have suggested .05% for oily skin and open pores. Can one switch from retinol serums to tretinoin? Also, what your thoughts on Tretinoin gel microsphere .04%? You can switch to retin 0.025% for sure and its far less irritiating..but it being retinoid you should still introduce slow and build it up.
if you have very very sensitive skin then consider the gel microsphere.

It absolutely corrects. And add vitc to undo UV damage and dont forget the sunscreen. It will soften the deeper wrinkles and iron out fine wrinkles.

You can use bioderma intensive Baume 😉it has ceramide for repairing skin barrier and it really helps in preventing dryness caused due to retinoid 😊
