The fact that so many of you talented women are sharing your craft....it is just so kind. You will never know how much it means it me, and I'm sure so many others. I have a huge piece, about the size of this armoire and have been watching every video I can find for months to get ready to tackle it. I've practiced on small pieces to get the feel. I'm using DIY and Dixie Belle(Since I have a local DB dealer, so can run over to her to pick up if I need any more).
But I'm not a furniture painter, and do not plan on doing this professionally. I always buy pieces from other artists. It's messy, hard work, and I 100% respect that!
Just couldn't find what I needed for my last office piece, and looked for a year. So finally said...well I have NO choice, so found the Ethan Allen armoire at a great price. And because of so many of the talented women on here, I really have the confidence to do this.

I want to start my own paint line one day.. and when I do, I’m going to give the colors regular names. For example, I would call these light grey, dark brownish grey and true blue navy or something.. My point is that I’d make sure each color has the color in at least part of the name. Lol sorry it’s just something that annoys me so I decided to write a tangent on it in your video.. sorry about that lol that’s not your fault 😂 anyway, Awesome job with this!!

Tell me about it!!!! I wouldn't want to be the person who has to come up with the names for these colors that's for sure.....20+ shades of just blue alone!!! And don't get me started on all the blacks/browns/grays/& whites 😱 I'll just stick to painting with them. 😂

What color is the armoire done in before you started colors? It looks gray...🤔 I love that gray!

Interesting technique. I'd think you should show the finished piece more. Too quick at the end. Very interesting. Never seen that b4
