Beautiful drone shots. Glad you are enjoying the best place in the world, the Lake District. I was born here and have lived here all my life. My dad started taking me on the fells when I was a child. I am now seventy and still walk for miles on the fells. I have never taken it for granted and realise how lucky my family and I are.
This was really the first time I’d been, my favourite place is borrowdale I think, yes very fortunate to live in this area. It’s over 4 hours for me I’ve most recently been to sprinkling tarn. Thanks for your comment.
Loved that second day myself, the introduction to the Lake District. Know I took a slightly different route but the scenery very much the same. The arrival at Ennerdale Water will be something I always remember. Awesome to get the fly-by at Honister too, love it when I get little unexpected extras along the way.
Thanks mate, yes you went up high and camped I recall? I’m currently on my go the lakes as meeting a group to do a camp tomorrow night, if time on Sunday will try and get up to haystacks. Thanks for the comment!
@@DJVOutdoors yes mate, I did camp up top, only because of my first day being shorter. It was blooming windy up there that night though 😂 Good luck with the camp, beware though, the Lakes can get a bit addictive 👌🏼
Whenever I walk round Ennerdale I always do the south path first (up on the right) as the path is far more technical than the northern path - you can really motor on the northern path which is all packed stone and smooth. The most remote of the lakes with no roads going round like most of the others. So quiet, even in the height of walking season and no more than 15 minute drive from home.
@@DJVOutdoors walked in early Sept over 14 days - massive blisters that didn't hurt in boots but crippled me in flip flops. Great experience. Next, after doing the Dales Highway, I'm thinking about doing a reverse crossing and walking home as I live only 4 mile from St Bees.

You’ve probably done the walk by now. Hope you had a good one

Great Video but too many head shots you can give commentary when showing surroundings
Thanks for the feedback
