- This Musical Score is heard during close to the end of the film when Diesel 10 chases Burnett Stone, Lady, and Thomas all over the Island of Sodor but fails after falling off the viaduct after it fell apart in the middle and when Lily, Mr. Conductor, and C. Junior completes the final source of the gold dust. If you ask me this score from 0:55-1:55 sounds like the soundtrack scores from the 1988 Tim Burton movie, "Beetlejuice".

I saw this in 2004 when I was 3 and I was so happy Lady made it out alright that I started crying. This movie made me cry from joy for the first time.
I am and will always be a fan of TTTE till the day I die. The very first and most special show I ever encountered. It will always live in my heart. And though I only saw this film a few times when I was young, it was a very nice film, with a beautiful soundtrack, which in addition, is what makes it also special.
Am I the only one who gets goosebumps just thinking of the scene while listening to this? God I sure hope not.
I do because it brings back so many memories of when I was little and I loved this movie back then. Earlier, me and my brother watches it again for the sake of nostalgia.
I watched crud out of this movie on DVD and everything, I wish I knew what happened to it 😔 but man I was so obsessed with Thomas as a kid and I almost regret selling my Thomas toys a decade back
@@phantom-X2086Now thinking about it, I regret getting rid of my DVD copies of Thomas and the Magic Railroad, 10 Years of Thomas, Team Up with Thomas and Hero of the Rails as the last 2 I mentioned are my favorite DVD releases of Thomas & Friends.
Even though my VCR broke, I’m glad that I still have my VHS copy of Salty's Secret.
What a beautiful soundtrack for the early 2000's

The only problem with this film is the misleading title, the concept that Britt was trying to do was definitely a great idea but let’s just say that test audiences were being very picky.
There was only about 20 minutes of Thomas and that was it.
Either way, it was pretty good

As bad as this movie Is, the score Is the ONLY great thing about this movie, sure It's formulaic but It's feels acceptable, magical and fitting for a film like this.
So I actually love the score by Hummie Mann, It's just the best thing about this movie for me.

Mann’s score is exceptional, it’s just a shame that everything around it was a bit wonky and bizarre to begin with and was completely ruined by the test audience recuts that completely changed the structure of the story, removing key characters, important dialogue, the list goes on and on. I mean what on earth did they think recutting the film so severely would do to help it? It definitely didn’t increase the box office takings. I have a soft spot for the film but it’s a complete bloody mess and even in its original state would have stood grossly at odds with the original series.

The chorus of the chase in my opinion is the best part of song this scene is amazing two the story is simple for once if D10 Catches Lady and Thomas it's an instant Game over
I was watching tatmr recently and it dawned on me during the chase that Thomas was literally the only thing standing between diesel 10 and lady/burnett. Had diesel got Thomas at the very least it would have given lady just enough time to get away with the impending viaduct collapse but at that point there is nowhere left to hide. Diesel knew about the buffers the location of the buffers and the magic railroad so there was nothing stopping him from either entering the magic railroad or destroying the buffers outright. Your 100% spot on it would have been game over.
I love it from 4:47 it's like so layer back and chilled but smooth as well
I remeber watching this when i was really young and i loved it but since i'm older i can see why its so stupid but i can still see why kids would love this so much

This is a movie that 90s kids and gen z will remember forever its just a movie with a really great message during childhood ik that there is half of the film missing and britt did what Wilbert called "craneshunted thomas" into situations such as this. But im sure he couldn't deny the joy and sentimental feelings it gives off😢

This movie deserved better for being the first ever ttte film and at the end of the day it really is just w great kids movie with great songs and even tho the songs are a decade old and the movie is on its way to being 30 years old it still holds a place in my heart and when it becomes the end of the day "We all have to go home just like Thomas"....
