I Am.
Every FUCKING day
Um Br q ama Thomas e tá caçando essa música na versão dublada.
RIP Michael Angelis (January 18, 1952 - May 30, 2020).
I’m now 17 and I used to watch Thomas (the 80s one) all the time at my grandma and grandpas. I remember when I was a little kid (3-4) I was sleeping over at my grandma and grandpas and my grandma was coming home late from a trip and me and my grandpa watched this movie. Unfortunately my grandpa passed away last year and this soundtrack really brings back memories. Rest in Piece Grandpa, I will always love you ❤
I’m 20 almost 21 and I used to watch this all the time this song is so special this film is so special to me we all go through tough times you just gotta hang in there man 😊
Gorgeous track. Still gets me emotional like it did when I was a child.
I know right.
Same here! Watched the movie the other day and almost cried when I heard this one and the shining time song
Philip Jennelle You can't be more right
Same here.
Ye
I Absolutely Love This Song. Dayna Manning Sings So Beautiful.
The one thing no one can take away from this beautifully messy movie is the incredible music. This song perfectly captures the beauty, complexity and even how simplicity life could be if we just made things earlier for ourselves; all the feelings come out aha. 😭 I wish it was on Spotify.
OH MY GOSH!!! This song was my childhood!!!!!
Who else started crying when they heard this?
This movie was one of three movies that I watch nearly everyday when I was kid. It made up one-third of my childhood.
Flash-forward seventeen years and I still love this film. Not just for being a huge part of my childhood, but for being an amazing film that I still watch, to this day, whenever I get scared or sad, and it cheers me right up.
I still love this song, no matter how old I've gotten.
Damn right
I do!
I want to cry right now
Glad others are the same. I come back to this movie every few years 💙
This is one of the best songs of the early 2000s. This song has such grate meaning about hot life isn't black and wight but full of emotions like love, happiness, wonder, sadness and so many more. It's so sad that there are not many songs like this in todays world.
Rest In Peace Peter Fonda :(
I will always remember him riding with Dennis Hopper 50 years ago.
I know how the moon must feel
Looking down from the heavens
Smiling at the silly things
We put ourselves through
Missing magic each day
and not seeing the wonder
That's how the moon must feel
I know how the moon must feel
Starry eyed and contented
Everything is beautiful
as it all should be
Far away from it all
Never meaning to hurry
That's how the moon must feel
From up there our worries must seem very small
Maybe that is why he wears a smile
I'm sure he knows if there is more to life
I wish I could be him for a while
I know how the moon must feel
Looking down from the heavens
Smiling at the silly things
We put ourselves through
Missing magic each day
and not seeing the wonder
That's how the moon must feel
I'm sure he knows if there is more to life
I wish I could be him for a while
I know how the moon must feel
and I can't say I blame him
Smiling at the silly things
We put ourselves through
Never taking our time
Always running in circles
That's how the moon must feel
This song is so enchanting.
Yes it is
It's really weird to think of the moon as male instead of female.
@@ThighFish not really
The music in this film made it so freaking beautiful but still underrated... yet in a good way though.
Very nostalgic, it takes you back to being a child again, a time of innocence which goes away as you get older sadly 😞😞😞😞
Same :(
@@olivermensinger6022I rewatched this movie a few weeks ago just to feel like I did back then and yeah I still loved this
I could write a whole damn essay about how beautiful this song is.
God this song is so beautiful and breathe-taking. I love easy listening music!
Awesome!! I got to visit Strasburg where they filmed the movie and I looked into the cab of #475 from on the ground and sit in #90's cab during their brand new Hostling Tour this year! I have been there 3 times and this was my third this year.
Philip Jennelle I totally agree with you! In fact, this is one of the best soundtracks in movie history! :D
+Erich Diebold The filmed the movie in Strasburg Wow.
***** I can understand
+Philip Jennelle I've got a soft spot for this song.
I don't care what anyone says, this movie was one of the best that was ever made!
Agreed.
True
When I was a kid, I loved it, but now, it's fine as it is, not saying it's terrible, it has flaws, but it does have moments as well that I kinda enjoy, but the music will always be the most memorable part of this movie for me, nuff said.
+culdee4 ū Yuen*9
+Clank Zoka James va was wrong compare to cgi va.
Touching. Thomas is perfect even for adults. Even though I'm still a kid.
Thomas is for everyone!
As my Grandmother once said. "Your never to old for anything." Lord rest her soul.
Clopey I’m almost 18 and I love this song and Thomas the train
Nigtcreature18 rest in piece to your grandma those are some smart words
@@nigtcreature1837 may she rest in peace.
This song makes me cry
Same
The_ Kawaii_Kitten facts bruh
This isn't just a song, this is my childhood.
Yep that’s Right I’m crying
That song is so beautiful it made me crying😭
..i'm crying!...
I'm 30 In May And I Still Watch This Movie. I Watched It Nearly 2 Years Ago With My First Cousin Who Turned 7 Near Enough Christmas Time 2023 And We Really Bonded Over It. It's Something We Have In Common And We Seem To Have Lots Of Other Stuff In Common Too. Onwards And Upwards And Still One Of My Favourite Movies After All These Years.
Good memories... from childhood...
This is probably one of the earliest songs I listened to ever. It really reminds me of the simplicity of my thoughts and emotions back then, so direct and truthful. Now its so over complicated that I've forgotten what it was to live an innocent life. It's sad.
Okay Hapsburg
I'm 23 now.
This movie was my All-time favorite and I hold it deep inside my heart right next to Stuart Little.
I have to be honest here… I loved this song as a kid when I watched this movie. Now I love it for how nostalgia and how beautiful this song is… and I love it… and i possibly always will.😌
Grew up watching this movie. The music is just unforgettable
Dunno why this song didn't get more popularity in the tv show. its a really relaxing and nice song
ONE OF THE BEST SOUNDTRACKS IN ANY KIDS MOVIE
S Tier!
Not only this is a beautiful piece. This was my childhood❤😢
Dayna Manning is such a talented Singer she absolutely Nailed this song and I know How the Moon Must Feel really touches my heart and soul and makes me shed a tear cause it's so Beautiful to listen to as well it's a fantastic fit for Thomas And The Magic Railroad
Now it's already been 9 years for this video on UA-cam and that song still never gets old.
I'm feeling the nostalgia and childhood memories coming back with this song
I’m 16 I still watch it
These songs are for ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE!!! Thomas and the magic railroad and Calling all Engines have the best ever songs that attract ur heart inside, just love these songs!
I saw this movie when I was 5. I remembered the singer's voice. I could never figure out the name. I've been looking for this song for the past 15 years! Thanks for the music!
Jeffrey Amlung I was 5 years old too when TATMR was released. I wish people would stop complaining about how bad the movie is and just enjoy it for what it is.
KeeferJ 1995 I love the movie lmao. I saw it when I was 7 because I bought it at a charity shop for my younger brother as we both loved Thomas the Tank engine
Thomas and the Magic Railroad come out in theaters 4 months after I was born in April 4th, 2000.
I had almost forgot this song this was always my favorite song in the movie
I loved this film as a child and when I was in primary school when we went on school trips I would talk to people but I would just look out of the window and sing this song and make up some lines that I forget
This song is so beautiful. I love this song when I was little
Me too
Yep I love this song
MOHAMMED GEEDI: When our uncle and grandparents passed away, me and my siblings would play this song as a tribute to their passing.
Even though they're not with us anymore, they will be always be in our hearts.
I cry when I hear this. As I think of our first Labrador Retriever: Dottie. 1999-2013, it was a hard time for my son, having to let go of his best friend, who grew up with him. Dottie; we miss you girl.
I think this video would be in 9 years on UA-cam for tomorrow and that song will never get old.
One of my favorite songs ever. Absolutely gorgeous.
I love how, in the scene this song is played in, Lily is the only one looking out the window, while others are occupied by newspapers and phones. It just goes to show you how distracted from the outside world people can get nowadays, and still are with all those new phones out there now. The song is very reflective of that and it's part of the reason Thomas and the Magic Railroad will always be my favorite film of all time.
Wish they would release a director’s cut with the deleted scenes with pt boomer
This song is a breathtaking beauty 😢❤
When I hear this song, I burst into tears because it’s just so beautiful…🥹
The Song is Beautiful.
RIP Peter Fonda
Is So Sad
I always thought Mara Wilson (Lily) sang this haha
Aaron Clark-Jones That would've been a good twist. It would've made the movie feel deeper than it was. Thomas just makes me, and I hope others, feel like they can conquer the world. Wouldn't you agree to a point?
Well, in the original script Lily was the narrator...
So your implication that she must have sung this may be correct...
I thought the same thing to, similar voices
Me too. I didn’t understand anything when I was a little kid.
Omg same 😂
Last song I ever sang to my friend’s dog before we put her down 😔
Rip sugar ????-2021
Sorry for your loss
I'm not ashamed to admit that I like this movie.
I know, but diesel 10 used to scare me as a kid
You know this song is really accurate in a lot of view points in the world and the music is so breath taking that it feels like a prayer that God is giving to us if that makes any sense. I guess the word I'm going for is vivid in that its like a look at life. Perfectly agree with every word in this song, but that is not to say that I view the world in a negative life :)
I love this song because it represents society today even though this movie was released 16 years ago, people are so busy and worried about the small, pointless things that they don't have the time, patience or energy to enjoy the little things in life I wish this song had become permanent in the TV series somehow
Life was that way 16 years ago too.
I’m 20 years old now and watched this movie when I was a kid and every time I listen to these songs I’m instantly teleported back to the good old days 🥹🥹🥹😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️
I luv this song, its very beautiful 😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This song means so much more, because were becoming older we miss the magic we used to love with the things we had when we were kids
You know, this movie might have been juvenile, but it had a damn good soundtrack. Not really the sort of thing you'd expect from most non-Disney kiddie films.
Juvenile? I found this film to be more deeper, mature and emotional than the TV Show and Books themselves.
And I'm certain that the original script would have gotten this movie a PG.
+Low Gunfire it probably would have done. If the test audiences didn't like it and thought it was too scary just slap a PG on it!
I didn't care for the movie but, the soundtrack was cool.
Sounds beautiful. Never heard of that song before.
I know how the moon must feel
Looking down from the heavens
Smiling at the silly things
We put ourselves through
Missing magic each day
and not seeing the wonder
That's how the moon must feel
love this song :D
It's a great song.
Yes it is
The very last time I heard this song playing was when I was 7 back in 2003. It made me a bit sad as a kid when we bought the VHS, but I remember wanting to sing this song for my hometown's annual junior singing competition, but wasn't able to because my parents weren't able to find an instrumental version. I went with an Avril Lavigne song instead. But even after the competition was long over, which I came in last place, I still hummed this song a ton. It kept playing in my mind, but I figured around my age then that I was to old to keep watching this cheesy movie. The song never seemed to leave me, even when I became a teenager, I still would sometimes think back to this song and recall that melancholic feeling I had at 7 for the first time. I'm 22 now, I don't sing much anymore.
I don't think I've weeped this hard in a long time.
Really good song! I love this movie.
TATMR might have turned out a disaster but the scenes and OST are beautiful!!!! This is my favourite song from the movie and I can't believe it wasn't nominated for an oscar in 2001 😞
This soundtrack sadly became unplayable on Spotify a few years ago! Really hope we get it back soon!
Such a charming song
I love this and shining time by Maren Ord. They’re both very beautiful touching songs. Wonderful.
even though a lot of people didn't like this movie, they don't have an excuse to bash on the soundtrack, also haters? if you're seeing this, then that means you still love it.
I still love this song!
In my head canon, the events of “The Runaway” and “Better late than never” take place after the movie, the runaway beginning with Thomas needing to go to the works I can just imagine this song with it
Listened to this song the first time I traveled on my own. I took Amtrak from Lansing to Pittsburgh via Chicago. It was one of the best experiences of my life.
I remember Watching this as a kid now I'm 14 and loving this movie still
Classic movie
I’m 24 and married and I love this song and this movie
Man I can't believe it's been 20 years since the movie came out. Even though I was 6 at the time I still vividly remember seeing it in the theater and having my Ertl and Wooden Railway Thomas's with me. Kid me couldn't believe I finally saw Thomas on the big screen or when I first saw the trailer because at that point in time I thought I'd never see a Thomas movie. And seeing it in the theater all those years ago is a memory I still hold near and dear.
21 years later and I'm still in love with song brings back so much memories miss my childhood
I just read the description.
What really happened was Mutt, the Dog, wanted Lily to meet someone at Shining Time Station, so he got Lily to go on the wrong train.
But other than that, I love this song. :)
Oh yes of course, Well I guess I'm gonna have to fix that won't I ? Thank you, small mistake.
Even though that wasn't in the original script, but whatever.
He wanted lilly to stop boomer which makes no sense lilly need mr conductor and/or Thomas and lady's help otherwise they wouldn't have been in the movie but the test audiences said yeah lets get them to change the plot line
Roan Cox Mutt thought Lilly could help her Grandad get Lady working again, and also Mutt saw Boomer at a phone booth.
I love the movie . I also like the song I know how the moon must feel. Also shining time so thank you
This movie and soundtrack gives me the chills! I watched Thomas for 8 years (and not afraid to admit that I still watch sometimes!!!:)
i dont know why youtube hates me listening to this song so dam bad, it not only keeps removing it from my music playlist but also from my history it seems all together. 😂
This is one of my favorite movies I'm almost 23 and I still watch this just for nostalgia I always remember this movie
Poor Challenge Week Trips Oaklands Waterlooville will be sadly missed may they all Rest In Peace RIP😭😢😥🥺😿
hallelujah
Why do I image Lady singing this....
Most people imagine Lily singing this.
Judging by the fact that Lily was supposed to originally be the narrator, their assumptions may not be too far off...
+Low Gunfire Well the director's cut is close to being released.
Joseph Marrison
GASP! Where did you get the news? :D
Low Gunfire Well a VHS Copy of it has been found by Hit.
Joseph Marrison
When?
Makes me sing like an angel.
My voice is soft and high, every time I sing along.
I know this movie is really shitty and I will agree.. that being said.. I have so much nostogla around this movie as a kid that this song has a special palace in my heart and it always will be
The saxophone part kinda sounds like a Kenny G song 💖 I always loved this when I was a kid and I still do 😊
I remember riding the train for the first time by myself a while ago. I decided to put this song on while on it and man, it's such a good vibe
Underrated.
I always hear this song in my head whenever I'm travelling on my own
PenguinCOD I'm listening to this on the bus right now for that reason! :)
I love this song and every time I go up to the strasburg railroad I ride engine #475 for her role in this movie. (Built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia in June of 1906 and run on the Norfolk & Western Railroad as a mixed use engine until 1962, No. 475 is Strasburg Rail Road’s oldest and second largest steam locomotive. No. 475’s unusual 4-8-0 wheel configuration makes her known as an “Mastodon” or “M-Class” locomotive. She is the only 4-8-0 class locomotive currently operating in North America! She is also one of the last surviving examples of a Norfolk & Western Railroad locomotive. No. 475 arrived in Strasburg in 1991 after the railroad purchased the locomotive for a mere $100,000. After an approximate $640,000 extensive overhaul and restoration, she pulled her first passenger train on Strasburg’s line in the fall of 1993. No. 475 was made famous for her role in the movie, Thomas and the Magic Railroad. No. 475’s size and ability to pull nearly any size train makes her a “go-to” locomotive for nearly any need Strasburg may have-passenger, freight, or otherwise.)
Year Built: 1906
Maker: Baldwin Locomotive Works (Philadelphia, PA)
Wheel Configuration: 4-8-0
Weight: 206,200 lbs.
Arrived at Strasburg: July 1991
Now I wanna watch the movie again
My Favorite Moive Of All Time Can't Lie! Great Story! The Most Beautiful Soundtrack! 10/10 THE BEST MOIVE EVAH!!!!!!!! :DDD
I don’t why but this made me break into tears
Probably because it's a beautiful song :)
I remember when this movie came out on VHS and buying it at the store.
懐かしいゾイ
best thing of this song (in my opinion) I can put it on repeat though out work and never get annoyed with it.
Why do people hate this song? I love it!
Remember found memory's of my nana who is tragically dead💜💙💚💛❤️🇮🇪
I randomly remembered this song and came looking after 8 years
I cry every time I listen to this song, and I love how this is the basis for Lily's theme
So, up to this point in my life with TATMR, I haven't cared for any of its songs. Besides RUE of course. But when going back to one particular song, it made me realise the true meaning behind it:
How we, in reality, ignore the finer and beautiful things in our lives that are right in front of us. And when I say we, I mean humanity. Being so self conscious and self absorbed. And for those of us who DO see the finer things and are looked down on because we take the time we want to take so we can experience the love…
We know how the moon must feel.
In the movie, there's an extra verse not on the soundtrack. It's on the TTTE wiki, and it goes like this:
I know how the moon must feel
When he makes someone happy.
That's the feeling I will feel
When you smile at me
I'll be floating on air
I'll be beaming with wonder
That's how the moon must feel.
Yeah, I know. Just last month, I actually sent a message to Dayna Manning on Gmail and asked her what she remembers about recording the song, and where that verse would've gone in the full version. Unfortunately, she hasn't gotten back to me (at least not yet).
