Neil, there are moments in our lives when all our troubles disappear and we cry out with tears of joy. Neil Diamond and 'Sweet Caroline' will be sung for generations to come and those music lovers will rejoice to the sound of music as they've never heard before. Inspiring? Let's put it this way, whatever endeavor we are partaking in, with this music playing in our minds we can accomplish anything!
It has to be so cool knowing that you can literally go anywhere in the world even now (2019) and start singing this song and EVERYONE will sing along because they know it! Neil you rock!
Has to be one of the absolute greats of music, how could 5K people thumb this down. This would have to be one of the greatest interactive artist and audience clips ever produced. For those who have not seen it you must watch George Baker and Corry Konings singing Una Paloma Blanca to a huge crowd
In 2019, "Sweet Caroline" was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Recording Registry for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".

Mr Sir Neil Diamond WAS and WILL always be one of the worlds BEST SINGERS EVER... I was at his concert in South Africa I wish that night never ended....A real gentleman a great singer of all times.....
Way back about 50 years ago I had all of Neil Diamond's albums and sadly I only remember a few of the lyrics, but this video takes me back. Also the first live concert I attended in the early 80's was with Neil Diamond. My friend and I latched unto 7th row center stage seats. This was right after "Forever in Blue Jeans" came out and he did about 6 encores. Good times.
To the person that reads this, I ask the Lord to bless them and their family, to cure them of every sickness and pain, to fill their emptiness with love joy and peace, to rebuke the enemy from their lives. " ASK JESUS TO COME INTO YOUR HEART AND SAVE YOU, AND TO FORGIVE YOU OF YOUR SINS, FOR WE GIVE THANKS AND GLORY TO THE LORD. IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AMEN!
Where it began, I can't begin to knowing But then I know it's growing strong Was in the spring Then spring became the summer Who'd have believed you'd come along Hands, touching hands Reaching out, touching me, touching you Sweet Caroline Good times never seemed so good I'd be inclined To believe they never would But now I Look at the night and it don't seem so lonely We filled it up with only two And when I hurt Hurting runs off my shoulders How can I hurt when I'm holding you One, touching one Reaching out, touching me, touching you Sweet Caroline Good times never seemed so good I'd be inclined To believe they never would Oh no, no Sweet Caroline Good times never seemed so good Sweet Caroline I believe they never could
This song has such a special place in my heart. I remember the radio, the pub, even the some of the shops having this playing, and it’s just a such a classic here in Britain. In my part of Britain, this song is the only song 99.9% of us know. Always reminds me of my grandad, as he’s such a sweet man. Sweet Caroline is always going to be my favourite, till the day I die.
His music will live LONG past you and me...it is good for our ears AND our souls-- he knew and is aware of his GOD given gift of a clear and understanding mind and wonderful voice!

The amount of times I've seen this comment, on other youtube videos, can't you all get together and just name one please.
I've had a lifetime listening to mail diamond. Each time I hear him,, he remains as fresh as the 1st

Our generation lived a golden age because we were able to enjoy these songs. Now the music is not the same.
Now music is WAP.

These people inside the stadium have love their beautiful life back in the 70s,80s,90s. Good old days. Lucky are these people and generation.
True “Sweet Caroline” story my grandmother had a stroke about fifteen years ago and can’t talk cause of it.. just yes no and I love you .. we were on a summer cruise .. before covid 2019 and I have this on my iPhone and played it and she sang along at BA !BA !BA ! And pounded the beat on my dash 🥰 Thank you for the Magic Moment with my Grandma Mr Diamond
It's his song🎶🎵👌
Very touching. Blessings your way.
Elfreide ….. ‘Sweet Caroline’ is to Neil Diamond as is ‘I Left My Heart in San Francisco’ is to Tony Bennet. True legends.
Glad you saw her happy again ❤
@@beckyhayob1557 Thank you 🙏 and she was tough as nails she never did break down but right at the end she was stoic like a rock and every day smiled and made connections with the people around her .. SISU is a Finnish term for inner strength and my god did that woman have it
Not just a song, it's an anthem! What a performer, man's an absolute legend!
Legend!? Pppfffttttt hahahaha
Used at Red Sox home games
Yankee fans lol
5 k people still live with their mums
For fun babe
Just love love love him x
Drugs, alcohol and trolls mate , don't worry mate , zombies don't count when come to the good vibes.
No matter the age, they fill our hearts with songs and lyrics that means more than words but symbols
If this song comes on and you're driving down the road and you're not dancing in your seat something is wrong with you
In 2019, "Sweet Caroline" was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Recording Registry for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
One of the best musicians the world ever met.
@You Tube true story bro.

Good times.
Hi. Was it at the Chgo Stadium?
We were there. I thought I was losing my mind. So exciting.
2024, life is good because I grew up with the best music artists EVER ❤❤
March 2021 and still one of the best songs, known by all ages.
Hard to argue the point Miss JoJo.
The Man is god
Colin you are correct.
Awesome. Loved him forever

Keep living and listening to him.
Yes he is good for the soul
To the person that reads this, I ask the Lord to bless them and their family, to cure them of every sickness and pain, to fill their emptiness with love joy and peace, to rebuke the enemy from their lives. " ASK JESUS TO COME INTO YOUR HEART AND SAVE YOU, AND TO FORGIVE YOU OF YOUR SINS, FOR WE GIVE THANKS AND GLORY TO THE LORD. IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AMEN!
Amen and God bless you richly this festive season.
Where it began, I can't begin to knowing
But then I know it's growing strong
Was in the spring
Then spring became the summer
Who'd have believed you'd come along
Hands, touching hands
Reaching out, touching me, touching you
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I'd be inclined
To believe they never would
But now I
Look at the night and it don't seem so lonely
We filled it up with only two
And when I hurt
Hurting runs off my shoulders
How can I hurt when I'm holding you
One, touching one
Reaching out, touching me, touching you
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I'd be inclined
To believe they never would
Oh no, no
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
Sweet Caroline
I believe they never could
Incredible moment to sing along with Neil Diamond. Wow!
The one thing about Neil Diamond is that even if his voice has aged a bit, he is still a DAMN good entertainer!!!
Alot of Energy for his age to.
Absolutely ..Jennifer
Beautiful song it’s put me to sleep ❤
Alphonsomango
Many singers say the voice gets better but Neil sounds rusty compared to the old days. Not the same bite but full respect.
LOVE the way he added a chorus + at the end …Come on RONY…..Great to see AND HEAR PROFESSIONALS AT WORK….😇
This song has such a special place in my heart.
It’s 2021 and this masterpiece is still living in my heart and mind, This is so beautiful, where’s the other fans in 2021?👀
Amazing piece of music, and to repeat it was just right, and how the audience joined in
His music will live LONG past you and me...it is good for our ears AND our souls-- he knew and is aware of his GOD given gift of a clear and understanding mind and wonderful voice!
Me too
Still here loving the music in 2021!🎸
Tô aqui! Mas ele o cantor é vivo??
Let's not forget, the great back up singers, and band, that stayed with Neil Diamond throughtout his career.
He inherited Ron Tutt on drums after Presley died stayed with him to end
Thank you very sharing your God given talent with us. ❤ 😊
I listen every chance I get. I've waited 35 years to try to get tickets to see him in person but they always sold out. So, any time I can here this wonderful man sing, I Jack up the volume and listen and absorb all his music. Wish I could of seen you in person Mr. Diamond. Never give up the gift of your voice. ❤️
Became a fan in the early 70s and I am sad that I'll never be able to see him in concert since he's stopped touring.
I’m just a teenager, but I feel his music- he keeps hitting those notes and shining bright. You’re the best, and keep sparkling 💎
He did that to us 45 yrs ago too.
Hi ❤️,
Thanks for your love and support that has brought me this far, it has been a hard time for me going through this but your love and support keeps me going and standing strong in this difficult times. I do read your heartwarming comments and I truly appreciate all you’ve done for me throughout the years.
It’s a season of love 💕💐 for me and so I decided to put a smile on the faces of my fans by going through my UA-cam channel and checking out on my fans, so I can get to communicate with my fans better through discussion of depth and humor listening and criticism of my career🎵……
2024. Still the best
Had the most awesome experience to see Neil in Fort Lauderdale. So amazed at the range of ages in the audience. ALL just loved him. And he did NOT disappoint anyone there. I've been to live concerts over many years but, this was the absolute best concert in my 77 years. So much audience enthusiasm!
July 2021, wATCHING DURING LOCKDOWN. Grew up with these songs . Shaped my personality. Fan forever. Love you Neil Diamond. I see so many young people in that crowd. His talent and genius transcends all genre. His performances are like a revival concert. You just feel so uplifted.
agreed! So sad about his Parkinsons. He is a legend.
Yup😉
This man is totally awesome. I remember listening to "Song Sung Blue" when I was in grade school back in the early 1970's. His singing and Elton John's works inspired me to write poetry.
una leyenda de la musica, maravilloso Neil Diamond...parece una fantasia...
Good times never seemed so good! Thanks, Neil, for being part of our lives for 50 years! I love you, man!

A music giant! May he never be silenced.
Sadly, he has been with Parkinson's disease. As of 2018, he's finished touring.
I did not know that Niall was ill , singing in 2012 he sounds as great as ever. I wish the world really would join together reaching out with their hearts to each other . Power to the people, God Bless you Niall xx
