Nice clean minimalist look to the set, which is quite appropriate. The refreshed Y can't come soon enough, since the revised 3 has made clear what's on the table.
Nothing in this video talks about model Y it's a Tesla update... with zero info on the changes

I wish Tesla would add an option for a fully grey interior (dash and) all with grey clothe seats ... black is too hot in the heat of the summer while white is too difficult to keep clean.
I would love to know what is going on with the white interiors. I ordered mine in January and my EDD still shows August. Additionally, I don't see any long range model 3's in the Northeast. Something weird is going on in Fremont.

Guess Tesla doesn't have enough 4680 batteries for all its cars. M3P is cheaper than LR. I think you get some range back by downgrade to 18 inch wheels.
Also, FSD doesn’t affect the federal tax credit/discount, as it is added software and not considered a part of the vehicle price at sale.

Tesla isn't scraping the onbox, it's not ready and/or they realized they need a cheaper model now and can start doing it with the actual extra capacity of existing infrastructure.

My current lease is up in 4 months and I’m looking to get the Model Y, but I’ll probably get stuck with the current version and of course we’ll see the Model Y refresh early next year
Do a 2 year lease and get the second year Y refresh.
Here in Canada the 3 got a $3000 price cut whilst the Y got 'only' a $1,000 cut. And my opinion is that the 'low cost' Tesla won't be a new Model, but merely a scaled down 3 - smaller battery, cloth interior, etc. They may end up with a smaller vehicle, but not expecting that soon.
How will we know for sure when ordering that it is the newer car? Will it say Juniper or Redwood or will it say updated version? When will we see steer by wire and the 48v electrical?
When you order and look at the interior pictures- you will see (when Juniper is released) no gear stocks, etc.

new set looks good - usually the noise foam is done alternating design, still looks good ;) I wonder if when the new Y comes out, someone will pay higher for an older design for low mileage with turn stalks.. then I can get a new Juniper.. wishful thinking I'm sure.
Two new changes that would entice me to get a new model Y would be steer by wire and a 48 volt system.

I agree with your point about Autosteering. At a minimum Tesla needs to support lane changes using the turn signal for free. Dropping out of Autosteer just to change lanes greatly reduces the usability of Autosteer and is behind some of the other vendors' capabilities.
I like the new look of the set, especially the dark background makes it easier on the eyes to watch the full videos w/o pausing in-between. Oh boy now you got me thinking.. Once you shared the news that quicksilver is available through inventory vehicles you got me triggered man!!! I know the wise approach is to wait for the refreshed Model Y (codename Juniper) but the quicksilver color is soooo good! I need to contain myself.
