Just ordered mine but noticed due to battery manufacture differences between USA version and U.K./Europe it loses 50ch/bhp. U.K. Europe version is sold with same performance specs 0-60 but 460ch/bhp. I am a bit taken back by this, but also, lots of stuff doesnt add up: Faster than previous model ? they claim 460hk LG 79kWh for EU :( 510hk for the US version because of panasonic 82kWh for the new performance -the old one is registered as 514hk (perhaps that is just the engines combined and not the real output performance of the car) Longer range they claim ? WLTP was 567km for the 2022 3P... the new one is 528km WLTP... is it Tesla that is chasing the dragon or is it me ??? It sucks that we in the EU get the Performance version on a "limp mode" because of the LG battery with lower peakpower output (-50hk) - and even shorther range (-3kWh) so is it because of the massive rear tires that the WLTP has gone down the drain compared to the previous performance model or what, or is it a combo of the 79kWh battery and bigger wheels width ? The seats are a welcome update, the overall exterior design is very tastefull! Missing stalks is a turn off, but probably a habit (i have test-driven the Highland 3LR for 2 hours) So the perfect build for me would have been: 82kWh Panasonic for ALL performance A HUD display of some kind (when it is a speed demon!) wishfull thinking... stalks for gear and turn signals currently owning a ModelS 85D 2015 and Model3 LR Boost 2021.. was hoping to replace the old Model S.. but now it is not a clear choice... When will someone do a range-test and more interestingly a 100-200km/h test ? we dont care if it is 3.4 sek 0-100 or 3.1, but highway/freeway speeds are what needs extra umph from the old model3...

Tesla is like making love, thats better then dancing.. and its silent
I can't remember which, but there is at least one EV out there that makes an artificial kind of spaceship zooming sound when you accelerate quickly, and I remember a reviewer saying it was so pointless yet still brought him so much joy to get that audio feedback while driving. While faint, I agree that the electric whine I hear when I accelerate my (non performance) M3 does add to the enjoyment of speeding up. May be fun for Tesla to add that as an internal sound-effect at some point.
Another brilliant review, Cheers Rory.
You want the stalks back? No way! I LOVED that about the new model 3s. It took me 3 minutes to figure out, and I liked them way more. It’s so much simpler just having it all on the wheel. Tesla engineers nailed it, in my opinion.

Yea, in general I would not care about missing stalks, but there are situations when you need that quick turn signal change and if you are in a middle of roundabout, it will be "messy" to do it. With stalks is really easy and quite natural to hit it when you want to indicate your actions, hand just naturally slides over stalk to the direction you will be going and that's that, with buttons... Faster than previous model ?
they claim 460hk LG 79kWh for EU :(
510hk for the US version because of panasonic 82kWh for the new performance
-the old one is registered as 514hk (perhaps that is just the engines combined and not the real output performance of the car)
Longer range they claim ?
WLTP was 567km for the 2022 3P... the new one is 528km WLTP... is it Tesla that is chasing the dragon or is it me ???
It sucks that we in the EU get the Performance version on a "limp mode" because of the LG battery with lower peakpower output (-50hk) - and even shorther range (-3kWh)
so is it because of the massive rear tires that the WLTP has gone down the drain compared to the previous performance model or what, or is it a combo of the 79kWh battery and bigger wheels width ?
