The new pet has made me suddenly want more utility pets! Imagine something that can automatically harvest herbs? Or place torches underground? Pretty exciting!

They must add something related to torch God,a pet torch God for example
the furnace thing on the right side could potentially be for crafting a furniture set, e.g. like the lihzahrd furnace

It looks like it could be one of the new resprites this update is adding, so it could be the lihzahrd furnace but it looks different.
1:37 the furnace is from dead cells, you upgrade gear and stuff there using cells (a currency in dead cells)

Oh man, they said that they will add dead cells equipment for all classes didn't they? This may be somehow related to the furnace

As someone who only knows english, I have no idea how people learn it, it seems so complicated and full of wacky rules.
best of luck learning it! I speak it and even I get confused sometimes, some of the rules of it genuinely make no sense. There are likely channels dedicated to teaching it.

@@aaamogusthespiderever2566 yeah but you can still finish it faster, and the rain can stop without even beating or fighting the king slime so an even bar progress still would be useless/ not completely accurate
@@Adiadi-uj3udum... no. the rain stops if you don't kill 150 slimes (or 75 slimes after defeating king slime at least once in a world) before the event ends naturally. if you kill enough slimes he always spawns immediately, it is not random. I think the original commenter's intention was a progress bar towards *king slime*, not towards the end of the event. so a progress bar would be useful because you could see how many more slimes until you get to fight king slime, and it would just go away if you don't make it in time.

I wonder If they could add a mod section for consoles, like what fallout or skyrim did for us.

I don't think the actual console companies like Nintendo would like that, because you could probably make a mod to get past security features and use homebrew. Not that getting past the security features on those consoles is a bad thing though
@@_thresh_well I mean PlayStation Xbox obviously don't care since they allow Bethesda to do it with their games so they could still do it on PlayStation and Xbox they might just have to skip the switch

Re-Logic proves once again how awesome they are. It's one of the few companies I have always trusted to do right by their communities.
Godot is something I’ve wanted to learn how to use. I remember following a tutorial, and while a little complex, I think that’s just because I didn’t know how to code lol. It actually looks very cool.
Hah, I was just talking with a friend learning to use it for a game idea they had. Apparently it's quite good for 2D design. First time I've heard of it and then I see it mentioned again 😂
@@ArcNine9Angel oh yes it is very good for 2D design. If you talked to your friend about they probably already mentioned this, but the way your sprites and backgrounds and stage work is that they’re all different nodes that have other things branching off them. Your tilesheet that you may use for level design, you can take specific tiles used and give them their own collision shapes. If you want a sprite to have collision, you give it the collision node. There’s a ton I don’t know yet, but eventually I’d like to get a good Idea of what everything does. It’s just super easy to organise.
I've tried it out too, it's pretty good and I made a small relatively quickly.

a placeable evil altar will be awesome. I never will have to worry about not smashing and leaving an evil altar in my world.
The new pet might actually be really important for the new skyblock seed for afk wood generation
Their response to the unity drama really shows that the terraria devs are amazing people who are willing to help out the community, even though they weren't directly effected
1:40 the thing you mentioned that looks like a furnace, I think it’s a fusion for the king slime or queen bee
Knowing Red, I wouldn't be surprised if the throwable mud balls were "something else" at first and Cenx had to convince him to change it to mud...

i hope that the item in the right jar is the forge (from DC) because, like in that game, where you can spend cells to increase the rarity of items, it would probably allow us to spend money on it to get better reforges (on tinkerer and drops)

I just noticed the little ambient bugs floating around the flowers and mushrooms. That’s super pretty
in the spoiler for the fairy pet, there were some little bugs floating around in the grass. i dont remember if this was already mentioned in a previous spoiler though.

I really wish that this update could let the Shadow Chest Mimic pet function the same way as Chester!
Given the dev focus on making a skyblock seed, if the left item is a placable demon altar, i belive that they may also make a placable version of the golem boss summoner place( i forgot the name)
Technically, the Lihazahrd / Golem Altar is already movable, you just have to use a picksaw to pick it up. And I believe Golem gets enraged if summoned outside the temple, speaking of which, you still need the power cells so you may as well keep it in the temple.
@@shibainu2528 golem only enrages if you leave the underground jungle, not the temple.
My dream addition would be a Secret boss fight against tje Developers! would love to see all of those Dev Sets in action ! ✨
I could see that mudball being helpful in niche building and exploring situations

Placeable demon altar ! But that one will not spread any hardmode ores, it's better when your friends keeps destroying all of them and no way to craft boss summons, but the question is, what's the recipe that you gonna need to create the demon altar.
My guess goes for Crimetane and souls of night

This is honestly the first video I’ve seen from your channel, but I did just get your couch in my first completed world!
holy hell, that new pet reminds me of Blinkin from Men in Tights - specifically the scene where he has that long swordfight with a pillar.
So in Dead Cells, the jars represent unlocks that hover in the first room you spawn in. They can be either empty, awaiting to be unlocked, filled with an item and it's respective damage color or broken meaning it's disabled. So it might be milestones.
The question we have to wait for now, is how will the Cenaxe pet look dyed

It’s the upgrade furnace from the game deadcells, so I’m guessing you use it to make the new weapons

Not only is Re-Logic the best dev team I know of, and this goes to show how truly generous they are to using the abundance of money they make for going against something as ridiculous as Unity's greedy move. Thanks for being awesome as always Re-Logic ❤

I would love them to add if the pets and the town slimes can attack with different things like for exaple the squire slime can use the copper short sword and they should add a item where you can have multiple pets at ones that would be really cool to add

It was initially a little joke that Red (tree) had going, but cenx(axe) joined in and it became a small competition. It is over now, and has been for a bit.
