    Yeah that's was going to say about shipping. Marketplace is better if the person comes to you but your market is smaller say a hundred miles 50 miles or whatever. And marketplace doesn't charge you anything at least I don't think they do. But then to me you got a bunch of people coming over to your house. But then you could like I guess meet at the local bar or something or I'm not sure about that marketplace.

    Will Eva motors are very solid unless you really do something or somebody does something really stupid. I've come across two of those this year not mine just helping someone else out. But they're solid maybe the best one hardly ever made

    I bought a minivan years ago and I did plumbing and it didn't run well so I got it real cheap it was just a vacuum line was off. And then they had another vacuum line going to another spot that was in the wrong spot

    I been to lots of swap meets here in the midwest and I see nothing even close to reasonable or obtainable for the average guy. But I definitely think your parts are very reasonable, especially the wheels you sold. As far as iron heads, the older sixties model parts are very expensive these days. It’s much cheaper to just buy a complete bike for parts. As for me, I just simply wait until I see a great deal on a particular part even if I don’t need it and squirrel it away for a future project. Folks tend to be attracted to certain models and there is a certain niche crowd that pays a premium for a particular model or part no matter what the brand. I been around most brands of motorcycles and have a good sense of what is desirable to people. Right now the EVO, twin cam bikes and parts are very reasonable to buy and flip as a hobby. The 1960 to mid 1970 era bikes/parts are definitely more desirable and expensive. Try to hunt down a stock set of side covers or exhaust pipes for a CB750 Honda or a KZ 900 Kawasaki and see what they cost, it’s crazy! Or a complete sixties Harley Sportster/ Super glide 33.4 front end in good condition without the front wheel…about $900 to $1200 bucks on average. Pan head and knuckle parts are out of orbit as I shown in my Davenport swap meet video.
    Good luck on your next find Big Ed, you make it very interesting to watch.

      @Michael-st1hl I'm looking for my next flip, as we speak. Lol. As far as Ironheads go, I don't think they hold their value like they should. I've seen Ironheads that look really nice, at a good low price, sit on Marketplace forever. Harleys are kinda like the stockmarket, they go up and down, and right now they are down. Thanks for watching, Mike. Take care.

    And if you sell on eBay they take like 7% then they like getting you for shipping I mean they got it down pat on eBay it's not to the seller's favor

    Well there's a fell on UA-cam and he was Sportster and he thought was a great deal it was 500 bucks but he didn't check the title and the title didn't match by the time you got home now it didn't run and it was quite the mess but he thought for 500 bucks. He says well it's probably worth 600 bucks so I'm at least a hundred bucks to the good

    Good advice, just stay away from the sportsters period. The great thing about the evos is they didn't flood the market with them and now people want the evo engines.

    • @edZILLA64
      @edZILLA64  8 днів тому

      @truthbetold-jq8iw I hate to say it, but the EVOs have really come down in price. An EVO motor years ago, would easily fetch 1200-1500 dollars, but now you are lucky if you get 700. Like with anything, though, the Market goes up and down.
