Cannot thank you enough for making this video!! By far, your video is the clearest one on UA-cam explaining the touches of throttle and return ledges. Your tutorial is simple, clear & concise.
Here is what happened : I put bar risers making my cables ended up too tense and the throttle became very sticky. My local dealer said I need to get a pair of new cables and it costs me around 250 dollars. Plus, I need to leave my bike with him for one week because of all the cable measurements, swapping and adjustments.
Thanks a lot !!!! You have a good one !!

Hey dude. This saved my ass today. I was ankle deep in tension issues with the throttle, and not even the HD dealership could explain it as well as you did. Thanks for passing on your knowledge, as well as keeping me safe on the roads.

Very good video. I am a new rider and I just noticed that my 2022 Harley XL883N Iron 883 has way too much free play in the throttle. My bike has very low mileage on it also. It only had 1200 km on it when I bought it from the dealership so maybe the throttle was never adjusted before, I am not really sure. When I roll on the throttle there is a lot of free play until the throttle actually opens up to tension. I also noticed this as when I am upshifting to a higher gear when I roll back on the throttle, it takes a bit for my bike to respond to the acceleration of upshifting thus the shifts are not smooth because of the lag response of the throttle.

I installed a stage 1on my sporste. I was an idiot and fiddles with throttle body flap when i had the air cleaner off. When i started my bike up with the vance and hines fp3 it gave me a throttle position sensor too low and i can smell my bike running rich. will this help me reset my throttle and fix that issue? Thanks for any tips or advic.

nice vid but i do believe you do not put the lube tube in the hole in the top the lube hole is on the side opposite the tightening screw the hole on the top is for holding the rubber insert in place at least it is on the one i have in the uk.
