IRONHEAD,ROADKING, ELECTRAGLIDE UPDATE!
Sound great you are going to Daytona bike week. Everyone should experience it once in their life time. I enjoyed it when I went to shcool at AMI in the late 80's. Shovelhead is coming along.
@itsmytimeletsgo I go there every year. I'm about 20min. away from Daytona.
@@edZILLA64 Dam you are a luck guy. I had a blast there and never forgot the good times.
😮😮😮😮
Me too
❤❤great job on the fishtails! bike sounds awesome, enjoy the ride!
Thank you,
The clunk sound is probably not coming from your cup. It’s coming from your transmission or your linkage. The dark horse comp was the best thing I ever did. I was on the fence. I was gonna do a billet star racing ramp, but decided to go with Kevin Baxter’s suggestion with the dark horse and never looked back
Its definitely growing on me. I know it is more durable than stock compensator.
Sounds good
Cool cool sounds great
Dirty girl sounds good with the new fishtails Those have baffles BigEd always found more power from the baffled fishtails Good luck finding your manual let me know which pages you need can send them to you Have a good weekend Peace out ✊🏾✌🏾
@@cruisinwithcannibal7280 yeah, straight pipe Fishtails, you lose your torque, that's why I prefer the muffler Fishtails. Hope you are feeling better. Peace out!
Big Ed, the bike is sounding good.. I had to laugh about the service manual, I put something down and 2 minutes later it goes missing! Then when I find it again, I wonder why the heck did I put it there.. DANG OLD AGE!!! NOW the real question, I was watching a video with Angel Whitehorse and I think my trained ears heard Big Ed talking to her at the swap meet... Did I hear right or do I need to get a bigger ear horn? LOL!!!
Oh, I see in a comment below... my trained ears are still working!!!!!
@@enemyilaf yeah, I met her at swapmeet, and stupid me didn't get a picture of her. Her boyfriend took a picture of us with his camera. I didn't hear my voice in the video. What was the time frame?
heard ur v0ice 0n angel whiteh0rses swap meet vid yesterday. ✌🌝✌
Yeah, I met her a month ago.
@edZILLA64 c0000l
She sounds pretty healthy.
eye c0ncurrr 😉👌

There you are. Haven't seen any videos from you in a while. Hope you are well.
@edZILLA64 Well I had to get a new stove the one I've had for while the wife and I have had for 30 some years to model 1952 Frigidaire it finally rested out. I rewired it many many years ago. So we bought a used stove.. Then our washer rested out it was been rusty for a while I've had that for well probably 30 years a friend of mine gave me one that was really off balance I tried to fix it but even after fixing the shocks and the snubbers. No luck so we had to buy a new washer so I've been busy trying to fix appliances. Sure glad I kept my appliance cart when I had my little appliance shop it still comes in handy. I did get some time in I just haven't filmed it much I sandblasted the motor on the 1970 to get the paint black paint off of it which was not correct to somebody sprayed on their years ago I'm trying to make a video tomorrow. And I got a new wiring harness for the 1970 I didn't know if I put it on this year or wait till next winter but looks we got we got a nice storm coming tonight so I'll be working in the barn tomorrow....✌🏼
@@MoeLarrycurly1 I saw your latest video. Take care.
@@edZILLA64 thank you 👍🏼
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
DANG I LOVE THAT SOUND SHE IS FREAKING HAPPY THANSK FOR SHARING BIG ED ENJOY I AM GETTING A SHOVEL SLED SOON
Cool! You got a certain one in mind, or are you still looking?
@@edZILLA64 1983 FXWG THANSK for asking
Well if you start looking for something else then you’ll probably find a manual that always happens to me
I've been looking for a couple weeks now. lol
Bike started up quick and sounded real good when when you throttled it up Big Ed. Good sense of humor about Paul Senior stealing you’re saying. Have a good day, Frank.
It was running when i put it in shed, the front-end is why i put it in there. She is straight, now.
All of the older parts & service manuals are available on-line FREE. You can print the applicable pages needed for a job or use your cell phone on the side of the road. lol Looks like your Brake Light may be on all of the time, if so check the little button where the front brake lever meets the switch housing.
Thanks
The cam chain tensioners were only a problem from 2000 to 2006. Harley fixed them staring in 2007
GEE. YUP YOUR RIGHT I SHOULD BE SLIDING SOUTH HOW NICE .PROJECT 2012 RK MOVING FORWARD .NICE
With the hydraulic tensioners which you have you should be good for at least 30K and even then they will probably be fine save yourself the trouble and put the gasket away and ride!
I think I'm gonna wait till after Daytona bike week then probably check it. Thanks.
That bike has hydraulic tensioners. Nowhere near as troublesome as the spring loaded ones used in the TC 88. But you do occasionally have to check the shoes. At 15,000 miles you shouldn't have hardly any signs of wear. Easy enough to check though.
Yeah, I'm gonna wait.
Old Harley trans might be worn out ✌️ ☮️
I had redone my clutch on my 1970 I got up to about 50° today so I went for a cruise 20 mi I figured about three little things I needed to do and when was the clutch was slipping a little bit so I worked on it when I got home.
You'll be gripping and going now
was s0000 nice here in c0l0rad0 2day t00. eye g0ts dat same therm0meter t00. mine never wrx rite eeeeither. always 10° high. ✌🌝✌
i figured you would have snow.
@edZILLA64 s/w c0l0rad0. high desert plains. 😉🤙
88 's had trouble with the cam chain
Your tensioner’s shouldn’t be a problem. They started doing the hydraulic ones sometime around 2006.
Im gonna wait.
90 there show off lol
@ridingonruby3287 gotta Raz you Northern guys. Lol.
Sharp looking bike Big Ed. Maintenance never ends. Great sense of humor, hope it warms up. Lol. Have a good one. Frank
@@fixitwithfc thought ya'll would get a kick out of that. Lol
Hey Ed, hope you’re doing well. Nice video here man you got such amazing skills.
@@MotoBaumVirginia how bout that weather report. It feels like summer already.
I hope it works out for ya, Big Ed! Im not so sure about my lower triple tree I replaced a while back, one side was really tight. Im thinking it might have been tweaked slightly. Cant seem to get it just right. Take er Easy🤘
@terrymassey7619 yeah, the one I just took off , couldn't get it aligned right. Hope you are doing well. Take care.
I can never find the weight that I really want so I usually get like a lightweight and a heavy weight and I mix them up together I try to keep you know maybe a Easter quart at least a quart oh my gosh. On the shelf if possible
I still want to make one of those out of a metal funnel an old metal oil can. That Harley has a picture in the manual for shovelheads. I seen when someone made they were it was on eBay they were like $300. But it was definitely a period piece from 50 years ago plus I just have to figure out how to braise the can in the metal funnel together
So that's how the newer ones are they're different on the shovelhead I guess the found a better way to mount that cover
@MoeLarrycurly1 yeah, I think the 70s and 80s had a different way and most, if not all , did not have Chrome.
@edZILLA64 Yes no Chrome and sometimes not really good aluminum color either. Cuz they've kind of been knocked around a while lol
Just cut notches in the frame 😂
@kurtfoulke5130 good idea, why didn't I think of that. Lol.
👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼
What can goes wrong does go wrong. We’ll wait till tomorrow. Frank.
Oh man that sucks. I hate that too
You did the right thing Big Ed switching it out, looks real sharp. Chrome looks real good. Good luck with it. Frank.
Thanks for the tip
Looks like that one's going to work out better
You’re a wealth to acknowledge Big Ed. Any tips are welcome and appreciated. Have a good weekend, Frank.
Always somebody lloking for stuff. Good luck with the rest.
Gald to see you are getting your money back out of it Ed.
Awesome tip thank you
Wait till you see prices on cables, you’re sure to get some sticker shock!
40 something each. Everything is so expensive. Thats why i want to get rid of a couple of bikes. 4 bikes is to much maintenance and money.
LOOKIN BADD AZZ GOOD JOB BIG ED THANSK FOR UPDATE LOL CARRY ON PEACE OUT🎉❤
Great tip, probably will be pretty strong fix. Have a good one Frank.
Looking good Big Ed
