- Some people who play FFXIV still think that the freaky MFs on Balmung are looking to ERP molest them as soon as they visit the server (you know since data center traveling is a thing now) and Im here to tell everyone you'd be wrong to think that people on Balmung will straight up RP with you unless you have certain keywords on you adventure card.

Hi, hello, Balmung RPer here. Well, RPer from other games too but currently part of the FFXIV RP community. Something else to consider with Balmung's "Quicksand" RP scene is that at this point mostly tourists taking advantage of the world/data center travel who come over to Balmung because of the rep it supposedly has trying to get in on some ERP...when the truth is there is a LOT more going on than just finding hookups at the Quicksand, but these tourists basically create a self-fulfilling prophecy that keeps the stereotype of Balmung ERP going.
The balmung people hurt my brain everytime I get them in a roulette.
How?
People on Balmung aren't out there trying to get reported. Usually if you see anything in the open, it's a visitor or an alt or someone acting out what they think Balmung is like based on what they've heard and memes. RPers put way too much work into their characters to risk losing them.
As an outsider to Balmung I agree. I mean I for the most part come to Balmung to marvel on how socially active the world is compared to other worlds on different data centers. A prime example is Aether. Aether has a LOT of active players yet you don't see much socializing amongst them. And if you do it's short lived before everyone goes back to being mute.

Not sure what you're getting at. This video has nothing to do with people being "insulted" over RP/ERP. This video serves no other purpose but to make people understand that the people who RP and ERP on Balmung aren't out there tryna force none RP'ers to RP. The who damn server gets a bad rep cause everyone has this disillusioned view on the people who love to RP/ ERP.

Whoa Lamia? I've never heard of anyone being bothered there. Most people are silent.
@@ThaGodLegacyHD my group of friends has sent me plenty of screenshots while in lamia of tells that are cold approach attempt to pickup. It’s actually pretty funny as most are so bad at it.
That's interesting. Might have to pay a visit there and stand around to see if anything happens.
