I have the sprout icon; I started playing this game very recently. I installed it two days ago and I am enjoying it so far. I'm almost level 30 with no mount, but that's ok. I don't mind walking everywhere. I don't mind it at all! Ok I'm lying I hate it but I can't figure out how to get mount. I have watched several UA-cam video and read forums and found the info on the Quests and other stuff. I have grinded this game a lot in the two days and I am really annoyed that I have to walk everywhere! The videos I saw and forums all explained the stuff really well, but sadly for me I can't figure some things out unless somebody walks me through it. I have hired coaches for other games to help me figure some stuff out but I am not paying someone to help me find a bird in a game I am still on free trail for. if I don't have a mount by level 60 I'll hire someone. If you don't know by the fact that I may not get a mount for a while I will just say I suck at video games. I'm a sprout with maybe zero potential to start. The tutorial is too difficult. Edit: i got mount. I'm enjoying the faster travel. I also bought the game and ended my free tail because I really enjoy the game.
Hi fellow sprout! I'm a very casual player who started maybe early last year but only very recently finished the first "season/installment/package/bunch" of the Main Story Quest (MSQ), called A Realm Reborn (ARR). All I can say as a fellow fresh sprout (yes, a year is still fresh) is that a lot of features are locked behind the MSQ. So really, just keep doing the MSQ which is the quest icon with the flames. You'll get your mount and you'll be able to fly in no time, but only so long as you continue the MSQ hahaha don't get distracted by side quests and crafting like me... you can start those later and you will probably be able to complete them faster after progressing with the MSQ.
@@EmAwake24x7 thanks, but I'm already focusing on main quest. I get overwhelmed by side quests so I ignore them entirely. Edit: I actually did get my mount. I'm level 45-48. They killed noraxia 😡 Edit: i did some research on my class and i got the level 50 opener but is there like more? The last song ill get is the 44, mage's is the 33, and 43 is the armys.

No deadass about the perfect legends. When I was actively playing the game and on P2S, had a perfect legends PUG and they messed up The Limit cut mechanic not just once, or Twice..but 3 times. Enough of us was alive on the 3rd to recover and knock it out, but it just didn't sit right. Just how Fam...HOW!? 😂. 1 time yea, even perfect legends makes mistakes...but 3!?
I wonder what people think of my glam. Its the moonward casting gear mixed with hands and feet from the new alliance raid. I know I get a few people looking at my gear thinking I am under geared at times
There's nothing more annoying than a mentor telling me, a tank main, that my "pulls are too ambitious" when it's possible to pull everything from Coincounter to Misers Hold (or the morbol breeding den) in Aurum Vale.
With very few exceptions, it's possible to pull everything until you literally hit a wall that won't let you go any further until everything is dead. That's not an ambitious pull, that's what you're meant to do. If you're still learning your job and you're not comfortable with that level of pulling, that's fine, ofcourse. Everyone needs to learn at some point and there shouldn't be any pressure on you to pull any more than you think you can handle. But if you know your job and you're comfortable with it, there's no such thing as 'too ambitious'. Most dungeons in this game have literal roadblocks in place that tell you: 'You can pull everything up to here, then we expect you to kill that before we let you go any further'. And that roadblock will never let you pull more than you can handle (with some exceptions, like Aurum Vale's first room), if everyone performs their job adequately. People who tell you that are either bad at their job or they're still learning how to play it.
Nah i just skirt around the majority of mobs in the first room. If I pull toads, i just run into the deepest corner of the first boss room. As long as nobody messes with them when they leave it's fine. I normally encountered astrologians or scholars in there.
1. if the player is a streamer/youtuber. 2. if the player is a streamer/youtuber. 3. if the player is a streamer/youtuber. 4. if the player is a streamer/youtuber. 5. if the player is a simp of a streamer/youtuber.
Ok but if im being real. I would add on that a bad player will constantly insist you clear content faster just so they have a raiding partner even though they say to play it your own way. Because thats what im going through right now and its getting very pressuring and uncomfortable.
Personally, I won’t use Legend titles. Especially in mentor roulette. The reason I won’t is that these people have so degraded mentor or legend titles by being elitist pricks that the average player immediately becomes defensive when they see you. It becomes much more difficult to help new players. It works, too. They see you as an equal rather than some elite snob looking down your nose at them. They are more likely to take advice or accept help because they do t feel like you are in judgement of them. If not using a title or a mentor icon means one more player improves or reaches their goals, then it is completely worth it.
As a Black Mage main I can kinda agree (specially if I start getting tunnel vision and remain more still than a statue eating all the AoEs), but I love blowing shit up and getting big numbers way too much to ever change lmao
Switch to redmage. You get big numbers, rapid free casting, you have access to holy and flare, and your LB3 is a flashbang for the whole raid that can wipe groups! On a dummy, BLM does more damage. In an actual encounter the redmage does far higher damage even while blowing their free casts on revives.
@@Nempo13 I've been thinking about grinding Red as a second main once I get to Endwalker. Tbh as cool as it looks and with all the advantages it has, I can still appreciate the barebones simplicity of Black. Idk there's something fun about going unga bunga with it.

There are only 2 things that annoy me in this game : people not using AOE skills during trash packs, and healers not healing when it’s very obvious they should be healing. Everything else is fine but you are unforgivably bad if you commit one of those two sins.

I can die to mechanics so m8ch that I've surpassed shameful and transcended into being downright impressive. It's awe-inspiring. Even more awe-inspiring is when I'm the healer in a dungeon, and my entire party is dying to doom and explosive mechanics except for me and they all leave cause I can't keep up with healing and removing static effects because they've somehow surpassed my God given ability to die to every mechanic in the boss fight.

So true. Like, I may get why the blm may not be aware, but I wish they would atleast stand within my healing radius. When a blm does this to me when I heal and I don't help them in time, my punishment heal is just to give them a regen or shield and nothing else.
this is so true XD i kinda know now that's i should be in SCH's barrier after playing one, either when i play range dps or run to the same side as healer when play melee! ((but tbh i starts playing tank and healer cause it get's daily roulette more faster ...))
@@Cabbageforyou Same, the only time I go as dps in the daily roulette is if I'm working on something else like crafting or gathering while I wait.
*Yoshi-P has sent the Hitmen* xD
I DARE YOU, to delve into the deepest darkest depths of ERP brothels and homes. All undercover of course.
Indeed the chicken suit does give us powers beyond our imagination.
Great vid. I've been playing for 7 months and I STILL don't have a rotation in any of the DPS I play, which I somehow got passed level 80. Still don't know what the gauges mean so I minimized them all. I don't know what macros are and don't know how to set them. I'm kinda having a little fun as White Mage so I'm sticking with that. My eyes are glued to the hotbars so I never get to see the visuals during combat or what the hell is going on or why I'm even there.
The difference in dps is something like 3 or 4 percent from freestyle to xXOpTiMaLOo it's not really super necessary, use your buffs when everybody else does and try and line up your bigest hits when buffs are up.
@@Barryschitpeas42069 Ok thanks, I will keep that in mind. I am still playing and I love healing more than anything.
is it bad i recognized this was leviathan limsa instantly...
I miss the times when Hey Alright was always next to Limsa Lomansa... ):
Same
1:40 not gonna lie, my greatest amount of player comms over seven years was when I dressed my DNC in the chocobo mask, body suit, BUT with matching 2B boots in the same colour. The boots apparently are all people wanna see.
Oh I already know I'm a bad player! How I got through EW I will never know. But I do have the chicken suit, so there is hope for me!
Chocobo suit/head is an acceptable substitute. Shoes are open so you can flex your beast tribe grinding there like with mog slippers or something similar
If they use ^^ or UwU - that's a quick way to tell whatever content you're running is gonna suck. Also if they play White Mage, say your prayers. As a tank main, I love and hate Holy at the same time. Also, I joined a P4S reclear party on PF and it was 7 mentors with Legend, Ultimate Legend and Perfect Legend titles. We cleared both parts in one pull and I was shocked. Never seen this before
I laughed way too hard at "raid Shadow Leggings". Good job
I just assume every player is worse than me
I just assume every player is annoyed with how bad I am, but too nice to say anything
@@drmayhem2145 Maybe this why i have no friends and haven't seen a single fc invite while Im reliving the game on an alt(what happen to the so called spam invites?)
Nah, I don't have friends or an FC to play with so between us you at least have confidence 😂
I have no idea why you'd need Enterprise Resource Planning in FFXIV, but this cat girl sure is being friendly. Might need to report her to HR.
Me with my mentor icon: "Guys, we kill the adds?"
as a user of the legend title i can confirm these allegations are correct.
80USD well spent? Just kidding xD
I'm NA and the only reason I'm a good player is because I transferred to OCE and learned from Aussies. Now I'm scared to go back to NA databases; the ping isn't worth it.
Noted never get rid of my sprout icon 😈
I’ve been playing FFXIV ever since endwalker was announced, I’m now on shadowbringers and that sprout hasn’t gone away XD
Of course I know them, they're me.
I got the mount after ifrit and then I also fight titan, garuda, and then I saved scions from empire. They killed noraxia 😡
Edit: i did some research on my class and i got the level 50 opener but is there like more? So the openers have one song in them(I'm a bard) is there a middle and end part with the other two? I have also heard some numbers 44,33,43 i believe for how long I use a song. The last song ill get is the 44, mage's is the 33, and 43 is the armys.
I was DEAD when you said BLM at the very end, BECAUSE, my hubbs and myself ran AR roulette the other night and there was a BLM our party and they put this long ass text in the party chat saying why they should never to be rescued out of their Leylines. That BLM died shortly after boss was pulled and killed by Famfrit's first water cone. I laughed. 🤣🤣🤣
Lol I got my Mentor crown the other day and it's my sole mission to help people in the game even before I got it. I waited a long time in the drive through to get my burger king crown
😂. 1 time yea, even perfect legends makes mistakes...but 3!?
it's simple really, either daddy ACT didn't tell them where to go or they didn't have a caller doing the same thing.
If you'd said the first room of Aurum Vale as well I'd wonder what god tier healers you encounter xD
You just got a new subscriber. Loved your video, I have never laughed so hard in my lifeXD
Bad players are the sort that parse in casual content and shit on people for not meeting Ult standards, like WTH is their problem? xD
I worked hard for my burger king crown.. You'll never see it cause I'm too scares to wear it but its there if I ever want to get yelled at
If they Doton repeatedly on a boss.
Dude! Why is this even a thing?????
1. if the player is a streamer/youtuber.
2. if the player is a streamer/youtuber.
3. if the player is a streamer/youtuber.
4. if the player is a streamer/youtuber.
5. if the player is a simp of a streamer/youtuber.
Amen
As much as I enjoy helping out the fresher sprouts, that mentor icon will be a curse
I'd seen a sprout with nearly every single jobs at nearly max level, and I always wonder why that player refused to finish the 6.0 MSQ.
Kingsglaive title users, rise up.
Shapen-Chair killed me, LMAO
Help... I work too many hours at Burger King that I can't play enough FFXIV to mentor players to their oblivion. This is so sad.
Get back to that fryer LOL
Black mages: "BURN HIM!!!!!"🔥🔥
Ok but if im being real. I would add on that a bad player will constantly insist you clear content faster just so they have a raiding partner even though they say to play it your own way. Because thats what im going through right now and its getting very pressuring and uncomfortable.
Honestly. All of the worst players I've dealt with have had a crown. I dont trust them
Saw the title and immediately thought, the ones who hang out in Limsa 24.7 and Limsa is the first thing shown in the video lol.
As a Black Mage main.........you're not entirely wrong. lol
watching this video as a current sprout has seriously increased my intellect in this game XD
1:48 is that an attack or emote? Never seen it.
Idk there's something fun about going unga bunga with it.
step 1) see the name Kougaon
step 2) block Kougaon
Mentor told me to stfu when I as a sprout asked them VERY POLITELY to stop pulling ahead of tank :)
Right click -> Search on fflogs
Great vid bro, made me laugh all the way through. Keep up the good work.
Very informative. I definitely learned some new ideas I hadn't thought of before. Can you explain what the bob-omb emote means?
Honestly, I can relate to the legend title. I'm an ultimate legend myself but whenever I see other legends I automatically think they probs don't have time to talk or not as friendly. So I turn off my title sometimes to feel more approachable by people in general.
Yeah most Ult Legends I meet are perma-afk, nasty as hell or fakes who paid for a carry, but thats just how things are.
What glamour you rockin my guy? Looks fresh af
Late Allegan Coat of Casting! Use wolf marks from PVP to buy it :D
There are only 2 things that annoy me in this game : people not using AOE skills during trash packs, and healers not healing when it’s very obvious they should be healing. Everything else is fine but you are unforgivably bad if you commit one of those two sins.
By the gods seeing that female lalafell in the antecedent’s entire freaks me out
As someone whose main began as a Thaumaturge/Black Mage I can confirm I am a 'bad player'
Which is why I switched to Red Mage as soon as I hit lvl 50, to become a slightly more flexible but still bad player, who can now BACKFLIP off of most trial stages-
long as you use your dualcast to revive people at higher levels, any and all badness is instantly accepted and you are loved.
@@Nempo13 Oh of course when I remember to slap insta cast and slap that it's a beautiful moment when it comes in clutch. I only forget when I am already dead-
I use sprout icon still because I still dunno what I am doing I level capped 2 classes and I still don't know what's going on half the time lmao
had a legend wipe us in our unreal reclears today because they stood directly in front of the last set of orbs on the third orbs set and.. didnt pop them. afterwards they sent a “ :) “ with nothing else ;-; it was… tragic
as a BLM i feel personally attacked
...
love it
How did you put on that coat as a Reaper? Isn’t it just for Healer?
Funny vid awesome content. Got a question for you. My little brother wants to try the game out so I'm going to let him create a new character. I bought the lvl 80 warrior pack ( couldn't be bothered to level a 7th alt) will it apply to his character?
As someone with the mentor crown I feel called out 💀
I can die to mechanics so m8ch that I've surpassed shameful and transcended into being downright impressive.
Top Tier entertainment! Keep educating the masses, Kou.
I use crown and legend, bad glamors, dies to alliance raid mechanics, this video is about right
How to spot a bad player - are they in a hot tub doing weird shit? there ya go.
I'm disappointed that I immediately recognized you were on leviathan because i saw the roe limsa lomansa in the background
Of course I can spot them they're me
I can't have macros... I'm on PS4.. ;w;
Also using 24/7 Guardian Angel title because I was so proud of rezzing 100 people in Bozja
I just picked up the game for the first time and chose THM and am now a black mage lmao buttttt I have the sprout icon. So am I good or bad?
Ah yes ERP
we all love

Parsing
funny. i have the crown but i have zero time to play the game because i do work at a restaurant. i have to sleep and tank/heal on my dailys if i ever want to play
As soon as I saw Limsa Lomansa, I knew you were on Leviathan.
I admit, I'm not a great player. It takes me a while to learn mechanics and what to do in new raids. So I just craft to stay out of everyone's way
As a North American Black Mage, I must commend you on your bravery for talking smack. XD
Now everyone will know that I am Bad
I just assume everyone with a Legend title bought it so that I don't get too disappointed when they fail basic mechanics more than sprouts and (moreso) full crown mentors
Also avoid dragon bois with a Hoodie and loafers on. Usually have a crew and stand around the saucer trying to act alpha around cat girls.
biggest thing letting you know someone is a bad player. is making videos about bad players
So..Japanese DC's are pretty much quiet for the most part during raids or dungeons, is it the same for other world DCs? I get that Japanese are shy and don't like to talk much..also there are many small or tiny FCs, some with only a few members.
The black mage string was pulled there...
0:46 me: being a south American player: *Woooo, yeah baby!*
I like how good players constantly clown on NA for not using macros yet it still never catches on.
I use macros for emotes. I have one that makes me smile for a minute and 15 seconds. :)
bad players are the ones that get killed because they stood on a mechanic just to type. im a bad player
