Honestly Ventress is kind of a role model. She has gone through so much and has so many excuses to just be broken.. she keeps going. And we actually see a glimmer of kindness from her too. Its beautiful.
she’s so cool. everything we saw from her this episode just makes me want more. still a bit iffy on her resurrection, but at least it’s handled better than other situations. if they want to keep it vague and up to the viewer’s interpretation, that’s fine by me.
That’s one of the things that makes the Umbaran campaign in The Clone Wars so much more edgy…those weren’t merely mindless droids the clones were fighting, they were living beings defending their home planet doing what they believed was right. Combined with General Krell’s treachery, the Umbaran campaign is arguably the best arc in TCW. It certainly deserves consideration as it has so many elements to it including fog of war, honor, sacrifice, betrayal, friendly fire, strategy and ingenuity.
And that wasn't just some random ARC Trooper Asajj killed. That was Commander Colt, leader of the Rancor Battalion, one of the most well-respected units of the GAR in the early days of the war. Colt even personally oversaw the training of many clone units. He was almost like Commander Cody and Captain Rex... before Commander Cody and Captain Rex (really came into their own, anyway). And he dies, not in a heroic last stand (not quite anyway), but is murdered and humiliated by Asajj. That almost certainly was horrifying to a lot of clones, especially those who had fought with and/or trained under Colt. I imagine that while Asajj was well-known and feared before this, after the death of Colt, she became utterly despised by the men of the GAR.
I hope he talks more about how Ventress is much more adept in the Light Side now. As we’ve seen from Rebels, the ability to connect with large predatory animals like that monster that attacked her is no small feat. Ventress, as much as she wants to hide it, has grown much gentler since we last saw her. She’s become a Grey Jedi like Ahsoka, and I think that’s really cool!
I was too but then again omega told him that she never gave up on him. I think it was a sense a familiarity with her situation, that made him lend her a hand.

"no one's ever really gone". It works in comics not on the screen
I still think Ventress is somehow strandcasted from Omega's DNA & her own DNA from Daphamire.
7:55 one of the worse attack... but we all know who did the worse attack.
I know it’s not Bad Batch Related, but I’m finally watching Asoka and I noticed that the droids in each faction have “bad guy” or “good guy” voices, and I’m sure this can be carried on to other Star Wars franchises. Is there an in universe reason for this at all?
Ventress didn’t turn the senate commando it was dooku.
Alan's hair is crazier than underwater Ventress lol
not a diss I actually like how unpolished it is... roll up n chat SW
is it really the bad batch that have matured since the end of the clone wars, or is it that they have learned to trust omega's judgement when it comes to these situations where she can read people and determine at a glance if they are going to be a threat to them?
I find it weird, that there are suddenly so many yellow lightsabres. Just an observation
