A story like that would be bound to show the Separatist Idealists like Mina Bonteri being kept in the dark and having much faith in Count Dooku. The members of the Separatist Council would no doubt use their control over the military to try and better themselves and their corporations. A serious question would be how long it would take until the combined hatred of the Republic and its corruption isn’t enough to keep the Separatists united. Even the non-corporate members are divided between democracies, autocracies, and other types of government no doubt. Some support slavery, others oppose it, some are racist, some aren’t. Granted, a faction as large as the Republic must have similar political divisions within it, but it was able to keep itself united behind Palpatine and maintaining order, for better in the short term and for worse in the long term.

The fact Anakin killed Durge can actually get pretty funny considering the Bounty Hunter was basically a teenager when he died. The Chosen One really knew how to deal with kids, isn't it?
There are a couple more feared Separatist leaders I’d like to mention: Sev’rance Tann: She was the original Supreme Commander of the Separatist Droid Armies before Grievous who was responsible for a number of early Separatist victories like the Battle of Sarapin. Alpha-02 “Spar:” He was Mandalore of the Mandalorian Protectors who destroyed many Republic armies in Mandalorian Space before he was defeated at Norval II.
Tann is an often overlooked commander simply because she, as far as I know, only appeared in Galactic Battlegrounds. That doesn't diminish her importance though. On that note. I wouldn't mind seeing a redesigned Decimator tank, the one in game was weird looking.

During the New Sith Wars, Durge's Master and only friend, Jaing, was killed by the mandalorians, causing the Bounty Hunter a deep hatred for that race, until the point of killing one of the Mandalores and joining the Separatists just to kill as many Jango Fett's clones as possible
