Is Omega Manipulating Everyone?
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 бер 2024
- Omega is an extremely sensitive and empathetic individual, she's able figure out an individuals motivations and fears upon just meeting them for a few seconds. She also has an exceptionally tactical and strategic mind. All of these traits in one individual can be quite dangerous. Today we take a closer look at Omega's relationship with the people she meets. Is she truly a sweet and innocent child, or is she actively manipulating people into doing what she wants them to do?

Omega has actually been one of the less annoying child characters in a Dave Filoni animated show, especially so far in season 3
Guess he learned his lesson after early-season Ahsoka
@@spyrofrost9158you ask me, I’d wager Ahsoka’s early, annoying personality was intentional. It put her in a prime position to learn some character-building lessons throughout the rest of the show.
Filoni has experience, for sure. Experience which I only recently learned dates back to Avatar: the Last Airbender.
@@spyrofrost9158 not really. Ahsoka being annoying was intentional so her development hit that much harder
@@GGBlaster I agree. Ahsoka just makes sense as a snide 13-year-old with no experience beyond the Jedi Temple only to receive lessons in humility in the field.
For as smart as Omega is, I'd like to think her naivety is again due in large part to how she's only ever seen the sterile walls of Tipoca City throughout the bulk of her life.
It's weird seeing them take care of a child who saw them grow up
Even weirder that Omega is actually at least the same age as them, potentially older than all of them.
That’s how it works in the Star Wars. Even the Kaminoan themselves watched multiple clones being born and growing up. You only find it weird because it’s different from our own reality. I don’t think it’s weird because it’s natural in a fictional story setting.
@@ARandomInternetUser08 She said she was older than them in the new episode
@@UNGOC_Engineer3231 just saw that. I also forgot about her mentioning she saw them being created, which clearly meant she was older.
Shes capable of understanding folks and their mind sets with real ease,
Shes capable of assessing situations and finds solutions, is able to understand and empathize n communicate with animals.
And is a very talented and skilled mind, able to learn new skills on the fly with realitive easy.. And now has her own animal companion.
Shes a Disney Princess
Or Eliza Thornberry
I Think that comes with her having a higher M count
I agree with the rest. Except for the part where you said she’s a Disney Princess😑.
Disney princess don’t conform to traditional gender roles.
Omega is the ultimate trad-wife: she will only mate with males stronger (more handsome, better connected) than her father figures (clone force 99) and so long as there is genetic (interspecies) compatibility with her chosen mate(s), her offspring will always have the most dominant genes out of her own genome or the donor genes.
Her manipulative personality will ensure obedience from smart, strong children: she can just trick them into minding what she says until she can indoctrinate them to her ethical system, which seems to be very good, given the values omega chooses to realize with her actions.
She is the ultimate soccer/tiger mom, we just don’t know how slow she ages.
@@Travis_HackneyJesus please take a shower and go outside, she is a fucking Kid. Something is very much wrong with you
Just because she’s an intelligent, capable and well rounded character doesn’t make her some kind of villain. She’s just a well rounded character
I tend to agree with you, but it actually would make for an incredibly tragic story if this came to pass.
Shes intelligent but got herself in trouble multiple times without learning anything 😂
Did you actually watch the entire video? He never said she was actually a villain?
Shes very annoying
Agree with your statement. Honestly I see Omega as an intelligent and innocent person. She knows the difference between what’s good and evil. Along with reading her surroundings and understanding people, thus building connections to help herself and others in the process.
"Somehow, Omegas mind just worked differently "
😂
I agree, there's a lot of hate and dislike towards Omega. The people feel this way because their excuse is that she is a naïve child, she’s too intelligent or something other weak excuses and reasons.
@@kingnamor7777 whatever,
"Somehow... this word in Star Wars has become so.. consequential."
somehow, 'somehow' is a terrible word
Another difference with Omega is that she's not treated with the aging agent (presumably) that the rest of the Bad Batch were treated with - so she has actually lived all of those years, and got to have much more normal neurological development, while watching the Kaminoans do their science and politics. I would say that she only could be described as manipulative in that being physically smaller, she needs to get her needs met through persuasion, rather than breaking heads or harsh threats. She's just a great character.
The S1 premiere also gives a brief dark glimpse into Omega's life on Kamino, when Echo wakes up in the infirmary she tells him "I know, I know, I don't like being hooked up to their machines either."
Omega is one of those characters who is genuinely good.
You don’t get that often, most characters have some sort of important flaw that holds them back, and that is what makes their story interesting.
What makes Omega’s story engaging and interesting is seeing how a genuinely good person interacts in an evil world.
Great video Allen!
That’s quite poetic😃. Because during Palpatine’s early life, he was a pure evil character in a galaxy that was moderately good and shades of gray.
@@kingnamor7777 so Omega is essentially the opposite of Palpatine except for it seems like her "manipulation" is a skill rather than a Force power
@@creestofofficial2554 Omega isn’t even essential using manipulation more like “charisma.” But yes Omega is basically the opposite of Palpatine. At least in the case of mind sets and morals.
Explosive Ordnance Disposal is a significantly underrated training field for Omega. She has those tiny fingers; perfect for fine manipulation.
Having been an EOD tech the fact that Wrecker is the squads EOD Tech definitely fits in with a decent portion of the EOD population.
how much of her fingers being small is because shes just an actual child tho
@@dinglerofl4784 I mean, all of it? I was joking. You shouldn't have child doing ordnance disposal. Even if she is a direct clone of Jango Fett
@@babombermanthe reason landmines are such a human rights problem is that the same people whining about it also cry when the most effective people to do untrained EOD - children - are allowed to do it! Like what do they even want?!
Great analysis as always. She's an empath- and I'm sure its related to her high m count. It's how she manifests force ability. I do feel she is truly compassionate, and her "manipulation" does not contain any ill intent whatsoever :)
They want her for PALPATINE clones!
Given how good she is at table games, she clearly has a good skill in place to plan ahead.
I think she'd make for a really good dungeon master
@@theskullboy8700 that she is.
@@luisemoralesfalcon4716 bro imagine in the aftermath she’s on the island playing with some high school students doing a homebrew campaign
@@theskullboy8700 😄
I don't know if would make a difference to the plot but Omega's concern for the Bad Batch might make more sense if she is their genetic "mother". She's old enough to have been the donor for their creation.
Nala Se likely created Clone Force 99 as an off-shoot of experimenting with Omega's DNA; I imagine that the primary Fett DNA was guarded closely for Republic Army production but Omega's DNA was freely available for Nala Se's experimentation.
Omega hasn't explicitly said so but she probably knows all about the Bad Batch, from the time of their engineering, birth, training and maturation. She doesn't have the opportunity for a lot of "normal" kid hobbies but she could easily follow the exploits of her "kids" and would definitely care enough to do so.
She cares like a mom; the Empire is in for a bad day if she "moms" like Sarah Connor.
The day that Omega snaps and chooses violence to protect her family is going to be frightening.
If Omega ages normally and she schooled for 12 years, watched the Bad Batch grow up for 9 years and add 3 years of their missions after that, she would then be 24. If she ages at half the normal rate she would look to be only 12.
That's an interesting point
Slowed aging……? Sounds cool, nice shout
Explains her older sister. Here's a theory. Maybe Omega is indeed 24-25 years old and her older looking sisters are the ones that was given normal aging. Likely controlled experiments to see how normal versions of Omega would work. Omega herself was slow aged for experimentation and preservation. Her brothers of course given the standard clone aging with only her brother Boba Fett being the only real clone that was a true Clone of Jango.
Jango Fett being donor for Clone Army in 32 BBY. Sorry but your teory is broken) Bad Batch clones have 1-2 years age.
You do understand that at the latest, Omega would've been created in 31 BBY, right? That mean by 18-17 BBY (which is right around the time Season 3 takes place) she'd be about 13-14 years old. And because she's unaltered, she grows like a normal human. So that pans out.
In other words, Omega was designed to be a high-level officer. Yeah, bet ya she becomes a major force in the Rebellion that never tips her hand, so that she never has to be shown, 'til maybe Andor? Or maybe in the Mandalorian movie!
That would be great but that’s wishful thinking
Wait. What if Omega is Luthen Rael!
@@MailableOrphan That doesn’t make sense.
Or a politician..... Is she Emperor Palpatine's clone?
Omega isnt a manipulator. She is just very intelligent.
When you think of people with high IQ you might think of someone like tech but he has an enhanced memory.
People with high IQ tend to present traits such as empathy, the ability to easily understand others (which can be used to manipulate people) and quick problem solving skills.
These are all traits presented in omega, so no she is not a manipulative psychopath, she is just very intelligent.
Most of those traits are also ones that palpatine had and he was definitely a psychopath
@@jakealter5504 most psychopaths have high iq
Edit: but they can't feel empathy and omega is definetly empathic.
@@gonzaw8539 I know
@@jakealter5504 There are few realistic people and fictional characters who have a high IQ and still feel empathy and compassion.
Remember guys, manipulative doesn't = evil. Being manipulative just means you know how to control others through their emotions, motivations, etc. Manipulation is just portrayed with villains mostly in media so it's associated with that as well. You can manipulate people for a morally good cause.
I wouldn’t say Omega, is manipulative. I go as far to say she’s charismatic in my opinion.
Emerie has always sounded defeated. Someone who had her spirit broken.
I think Omega might have slowed aging on top of the m-count stuff. It takes 10 years of rapid aging for a clone to reach maturity. She was a lab assistant 12 years ago when The Bad Batch was being grown.
Obviously she has slowed aging because she can't be older than 12 or 13 and she saw the bad batch grow up
im betting shes likely around 12, since the bad batch is atleast a few years younger than echo, and possibly even younger than the war itself, since theyre clone force 99, a number that only had significance only about a third into the war
and if, hypothetically, the bad batch was made after 99s death (which is highly unlikely, as they all look like theyre in their 30s, but likely early 20s) then she was definitely old enough to see them born
@@Mast3rKK Clone Wars ended 2 years ago. Bad Batch was active for around 1 year during the war and 10 years to grow a clone. 13 years ago, Omega was old enough to be a lab assistant not an infant. Omega isn't rapid aged which means she would have been at least 5 or 6 to have basic communication and motor function 13 years ago. Omega should be like 22 or 23 years old.
My wild theory is that she's not a clone of Jango at all, it was a cover up. She's actually a clone of the a night sister and Palpatine is looking for the ability to resurrect himself, not clone himself. Hence project "necromancer".
Plus, she uses energy bows and arrows like them and isn't force sensitive in the same way the Jedi are.
Maybe that's the real reason Ventress is in this season - maybe she's a Ventress clone and not a Jango clone. Ventress (when she grew it back) is also blonde. You may be on to something here.
@@BrentStewart Although, the night sisters are not actually human but Dahomirian Zabraks. Maybe she's still a Fett clone but mixed with their genes, her older sister being a previous failed attempt.
Omega has a tan complexion, Dathomirians are literally pale white, and the males are tattooed, the other non Dathomirian zabrak are tan tho so a far off maybe?
@@bk_Syndicate_FL850KH I mentioned that above.
Pretty schizo
Omega might have more than Jangos DNA or could be force sensitive
I think now that it's confirmed that Omega has a high M-count, we're going to find out this is what has made her seem so lucky. I doubt she's outright Force-sensitive, but she clearly has a heightened empathy and intuition. She's not aware of this, and she doesn't intentionally manipulate people, but she can't help it. It's natural to try and persuade others, and her sensitivity gives her a huge advantage in doing so. She's a good person at heart, and really would be happy if everyone was just nice to each other.
I don’t think Omega is a Jedi, Sith or force-sensitive. Just intelligence altered clone, possibly with high IQ. Due to her being created and raised by the Kaminoan and later the Bad Batch.
She displayed great understanding, empathy, compassion, courage, and charisma.
When I watch the Bad Batch season 3 episode 3, I figure her blood is just compatible to M-count.
@@kingnamor7777 yes, that is what i get from it too
As always, great character analysis!
Yep you are spot on about her. It will be interesting to see how things work out.
Thanks Alan 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The "That would be dirt" hits different for minecraft OGs
I do wonder whether she is a lot more than Force-compatible. The way she can reach out and engage with animals really leans towards a certain aptitude. However, she's no Jedi. I don't think Sith, either. Bendu is established and think of the power he displayed, and I have a feeling Omega's going to turn out to be a lot more capable than expected in a future confrontation. This would also mean that Necromancer can continue without needing her, as the ability to create a Force User was already perfected (which is also where I think Ventress is coming from).
I see Omega as an intelligent and innocent person. She knows the difference between what’s good and evil. Along with reading her surroundings and understanding people, thus building connections to help herself and others in the process.
Gosh darnit, do you speak with such eloquence. You inspire me bro

Also have a fantastic rest of you’re Day Allan.
As a group we watch you and our weekly star wars media- for me the being able to count on a thought provoking moment nearly every day

Thank you dude.
Being someone with a lot of people knowledge, I can relate to Omega. Growing up, I never really had much stability. Combine that with manipulative family members and I quickly had to learn how to read people. I always hated being used by them.
Now I'm at a point where I sometimes think I might know how people work better than a psychologist. I could use this knowledge I have for selfish reasons. I might occasionally do that when there is no harm involved. Say, watching a movie that I like instead or getting a good friend to speak about something they're not too comfortable sharing. Of course, I do keep secrets.
though I never wanna use that to hurt others. So I decided to use my people knowledge to help people. Push others to go beyond their comfort zone to better themselves. To admit their love to someone when they would be too shy otherwise. It's manipulative in a way. But it's hard to call it that when I'm doing it for a positive outcome.
I mean, a few days ago I pushed a friend of one of my best friends to admit how much she likes him. She got out of a relationship recently and was unsure if she ever wanted to date someone again. That relationship was over a month before they broke up though. But I knew how she felt about him. So I started talking and slowly I hit every nail on the head regarding her feelings, her experiences with dating. Over the course of an hour she went from being afraid of falling in love again to admitting that she likes him to his face. It's four days later now and I'm pretty sure they're head over heels for each other. I heard from my boyfriend that he's really happy I talked to her about it.
I can relate to Omega on a level that I don't think a lot of people can. At least, not without it being pointed out. I feel like Omega can teach a lot of us that we can use people-skills for good. That if you're heart and your intentions are in the right place, a little bit of manipulation can go a long way. Although, we probably shouldn't call it 'manipulation'. How about 'a push in the right direction'?
Sorry for this 5,000 word count essay. Omega is a character that really resonates with me. And this video also struck a note for me.
A good leader acknowledges the strengths and shortfalls of their team as equally important and knows how to use both to the advantage of a mission. Teams do know who is the better person at something and help each other out as best they can, although in the bad batch we can see the specialities of each however when it comes to imperial command, that style of leader only focusses on results and can be at risk of "Flogging a dead horse" with such a highly specialised team. Omega see's them more than just the sum of their designated specialities and is something that she can do very well with everyone around her. She can pick out what an individual has been lacking or wanting from others and can provide that, it fills in the gap which ends up being a great motivator and encouragement to people (and driods). To bring the best out of people sometimes it takes taking care of the little things for them so they can have more energy in giving their best.
Great analysis
PREACH ALLEN PREACH, DAMN GOOD VIDEO....😉😉
GREAT VIDEO!
Great video
love this video
Very Nice
You kno she got tha force fool!!
Omega is such a cool character that I’ll actually be pretty mad when they inevitably screw up her portrayal in live action.
Considering the most recent episode revealed she had a high midiclorian count, it’s possible that her ability to connect with people is due to force sensitivity letting her sense the emotions of those around her
THis is the best Star Wars channel, or at least my favorite... Second would be Rebel force Radio probably. Third Star wars Meg?
...under and beneath are not always the same thing!
"Obviously not that one! Run for it!" Damn, I love Wrecker, haha.
Been kinda thinking the same thing been kinda crazy giving me revam and exiles effects on others in kotor games
No. At least, not consciously
I really like how they're fleshing out Omega's character. She's a kid who lived most of her life around mostly adults and it shows alot in her mannerisms. Her enhanced tactical skills are handy for more than just winning at Sabaac and Dejeric. Without them she'd still be on Tantiss or at one of the other testing facilities.
I do hope that these characters stick around in some way. Omega and Boba would be the same age if she's still alive and isn't the reason they were able to create Snoke.
Plot twist: the old lady who asks Rey her name is an aged Omega
0:04 At first I thought you called Omega "the fat clone". The subtitles thought so, too.
Hello, friends. I watched another entire video of Allan. My name is Generation Tech.
I think people are wanting her to be evil in some kind of way because they can't except that she really has a good heart and doesn't like hurting others unless absolutely necessary.
Nice to hear a well thought out explanation of something I've wondered from the start of her introduction! But how she is somehow force sensitive with midichlorians concerns me. Because even from her introduction, aside from having Jango's darker skin, the only other character in the SW universe she happened to resemble is Palpatine. The shade of blonde hair and particular cut/style always reminded me of the Senator's hair early in the prequels. But how they potentially acquired his DNA perplexes me. And if it's not him then it makes an argument for having Obi-wan DNA, depending on the timing of her creation. The few I've mentioned all that it to thought I was stretching, but here we are with the conformation of the M-count. So I won't be surprised if she turns out to be connected that way, and possibly Rey's mother, since the series is connecting the gaps between movies.
Omega isn't necessarily Force-sensitive. All that's been confirmed so far is that her DNA (and by extension, Jango and Boba Fett's DNA) is accepting of foreign midi-chlorians. Which is strange in and of itself, but it doesn't mean she can actually use the Force.
Omega likely has some sort of connection to the "Living Force", which would explain her ability to read people so easily and know how to manipulate the situation at hand so quickly.
I believe that Omega, especially after learning about the galaxy with her brothers, knows she has the ability to be able to trick and manipulate people, but she really doesn’t want to do that so she tries her best to make sure her power of manipulation is used for a win win situation for both sides. I don’t think she thinks about manipulating people that she knows and loves, but more like shows them what she knows they need to see. This is a very well done video that I felt was very entertaining and made me think hard about this subject.
growing up I loved the clone wars and never thought there would be any other star wars media that would capture my heart and mind in the same capacity but dang bad batch does that
Omega is a sith lord
Yes
Better. She's a Fett
She’s trying to get to her master Darth Jar Jar
Better. She's a Fett.
Darth Jar Jar Theory 2.0
I really like Omega because she had some really good character growth while still keeping her values and her optimism in her heart, the prison arc especially showed what she is capable of without making her some completely OP character.
She is truly a human equivalent of golden retriever
tech is going to show up in the next episode
So lets see.
Hunter : Natural Leader, Tracker,
Cross Hair: Sharp Shooter by the book.
Wrecker : Demolition and EOD, Also heavy lifter
Tech: Data hacker, Technician, Information gatherer.
Here's what I think Omega actually is.
Omega: Anyalst, Negotiator, Command & Control.
She was meant to be the actual leader of the squad. Its commanding leader that overseas a situation sees who the players are and decides the best course of action. Whether its the squad going into a fight knowing the weaknesses and strengths of a enemy due to her observation.
Or herself personally negotiating or interacting with opponents.
HOLY CRAP She's Thrawn!!
Well not really him, but she has some traits that makes her comparable due to her ability to read people and thus come to decisions that can directly go in her favor.
Only other people that can pull off such abilities are Force users.
Isn't it a little late for Omega to turn evil and for said turn to make sense at the same time?
He’s has some shit takes every now and again
Turns out the title was clickbait
Omega is the female version of Jango Fett and at the same time is potentially force sensitive and has the appearance of an innocent kid
What I've been asking since the middle of season once was
Where is she gonna end up? Who does she become. But I'm sure Grogu would be in that same light if he could talk
I doubt they are actually sisters tbh
I agree. Although I think the writers implemented that so she could have a connection with someone when she was imprisoned by the Empire at that specific time.
I wonder if the trandoshian, Sid, was inspired by Sidorovich from the bad batch series. They fill same role as contractor/smuggler/merchant.
Addendum, Sidorovich from the STALKER series.
Ah yes, the Darth jar jar theory
I think it’s clear that Omega is the driving force behind the series, in fact it might even be said that the show is framed from Omega’s perspective.
I wasn't sure about Omega at first, but I've grown to like her a lot. She's very smart sure, but she has her flaws as well. Crosshair was right, she is too trusting of people, especially other clones. But her compassion for others is the only reason he was freed from his cell, and many of his problems could have also been avoided had he been more trusting. I think every member of the bad batch has their place, except tech. I never felt like he had much of a role in the group that other clones couldn't fill, but at least he went out like a bad ass.
Just imagine if Omega met Thrawn. A battle of the ages.
Wow
She is force sensitive, they have literally said multiple times in season three she is the first clone to have a positive M-count transfer, M count means medichlorian count, and since they are working on force sensitive palpatine clones she is important for being the only successful force sensitive clone yet
so I think Filoni is hinting at Omega being force sensative with the M-count thing, M-count being Midachlorians
Just going by the thumbnail:
Wild theory. But now that I think about it...
WHATEVER Omega is, she IS more than she is letting on! As I commented to my friend as we have been watching Series 3, 'I think the Kaminoans made her just a little bit TOO good, & she would BE their undoing!'
Omega is Force sensitive, and that explains a lot.
She could even be Rey's mother...Who knows?
Do a video about x 70b phantom from Star Wars
What if Omega actually has *DECELERATED* aging and she's really like 20 years old?
So, how can Omega be an "unaltered clone?" Given she's female and blonde unlike Jango?
Oh me gah!
I think Ella Kane from the Mandalorian is Omega
Can you tell me what the Lego looking animated pictures are in your background?
I can understand why people don’t like her character but for some reason I’ve always enjoyed seeing her character grow
How is she an unaltered clone if she a female with blonde hair
Jango's mother and sister had blonde hair. Unaltered as in her DNA wasn't artificially altered like accelerated aging or anything. She just happened to be female. Atleast that's what we know so far
She’s unaltered in the sense that she doesn’t have the accelerated aging and indoctrination. She also probably doesn’t have an inhibitor chip
Jango's sister in the eu had blonde hair...so maybe that's where the hair came from
Rex is blonde too it’s just dyed probably
She’s unaltered as in she has a normal life span and wasn’t given the extra traits that make most clones more likely to be obedient soldiers. She’s actually older than all of the members of the Bad Batch.
I call it enlightened self-interest
You had the opportunity to put "What's she cooking" on the thumbnail and ignored it
I'm certain Nala Se was the exception and always would have tried her best for Omega.
That being said you do need more than one person and a medical droid in your life.
Omega has had very little time to play with other kids, or to have any 'normal' family life. ITtis not surprising she can't catch a ball, and it is not surprising she has moments of depression.
'This kind of talent is normally reserved for people like Jedi.' It's interesting that she has such a high compatibility with the DNA of force sensitives....hmm.
im just wondering, how long b4 she snaps, like Crosshair did
Omega is what a Jedi should be
“Who doesn’t know how to play a simple game of catch”
Also omega: probably has been on kamino without actually ‘playing’ because she was a test subject
Jedi like.
Hmmmm interesting, I wonder.
Well played
Omega has no enemies thorfins words reached her
I think Omega might be the counter to Thrawn later on... at least I hope so.. that might just be how we learn even more about the unknown regions and Thrawn himself
because he does not act without reason
"What is she hiding?" "Does she know?"
Omega is smart enough to know that the best scenery is when everyone wins.
7:40 before episode 8&9: nice joke after episode 8&9: makes sense now
