Let me tell y'all something, the smell of rotten chicken is one of the worst smells you could ever imagine. It is just awful. That chicken was foamy on top, i'm surprised nobody died from that place yet.
Let me just add . I worked at cemeteries for 12 years , buried 1000s of people . When the raw chicken hit the floor and i saw gordon gag from the smell , i almost lost it .
Not saying rotten chicken is bad, because it's extremely bad. But if you wanna test your scent for something bad, try Supercharger oil. It is the very smell of death to me.
Well it's not that random. They will have multiple cameras on site covering what they know to be the most useful angles. And there's no need for the cameraman to have the camera at the ready all the time....all it takes is a quick 5 second radio squawk from the team inside, "Ramsay's coming out". What people think is scripted or massively over-filmed is really just good coordination, experience with getting good shots, and finding the right 'cast' (meaning the ordinary people who aren't actors) who create good drama all on their own.
Also, I can appreciate Kal for admitting that this kitchen situation is part of his fault, despite his mother trying to defend him and take the blow. No. It's not just Kal's fault on this, but it's everyone's fault too. It's like in a team, if someone fails, then everyone failed and take responsibility. Like I said before, I'm very appreciative of Kal for actually stepping up and admit his fault, unlike his mother and brother and everyone else in the restaurant.

I love the fact he was able to jump right back in to this show after 9 years. I thought it would be overly-scripted or slapstick, but it isn't. The vibe is good. In fact, this newer series seems less scripted than the previous ones.

Could always say its Ramsay's job to exaggerate to make a show out of it. But the camera crew is there to film, not act. They get paid regardless, so their reactions are far more likely to be genuine.

That’s what made people sick and it got them shut down. It’s up to us as people to SPEAK UP about businesses putting our health at risk for the sake of profit or convenience.

Then you'll know that: 1) Everything comes frozen, powdered, or canned. 2) Nothing is fresh. 3) No one ever washes their hands. 4) Nothing is ever cleaned. 5) No one has a food thermometer. 6) Half the Employees never got a Food Handler's Permit. 7) The other half have an expired Permit. 8) The reach-ins don't reach 40°F. 9) Their seal is broken. 10) Nothing is covered or dated. 11) The only reason you haven't died of food poisoning is dumb luck. I stopped eating out years ago.
fr? how do you know? i mean episode 4 is my town.. and they usually dont get a lot of people since its a fairly new restaurant. so if i watch the episode and see a full house mid day, its definitely not real customers 😭😭
And this is WHY you report restaurants to your local health departments. They will shut them down and force them to clean their act or shut them down permanently.
This kitchen is absolutely disgusting because all the food has gone bad after being left in the fridge for weeks, months or even years. To make matters worse, the kitchen has not been cleaned up properly.
As a former Michelin level Chef that grease build up is more than 3 months old from the amount and it's colour I'd say closer to 6 months which shows nothing has been cleaned in that time. Amazing no one died from eating or working there

I literally gagged just watching this. I think the smell might have knocked me unconscious. Gordon is superhuman to have a sensitive palette that can still handle something so rancid.
I'd actually love to see Gordon find the health inspectors in these areas and ask them WTF is going on with them lol. That kitchen didn't get filthy and disgusting over night and these guys don't look like they could clean enough to save their mother's life even if they knew when an inspector was coming. The more I see of these places, the more I believe inspectors are on the take, giving out A grades for large sums of cash. No way should places like this be operating! 🤮
I wondered the same thing. In Alabama we have health inspectors that do surprise checks. They check dates on all the food, storage, cleanliness, watch the staff, make sure the dishwasher and cleaning solutions have all the right storage, temperature, and chemical makeup, they check the temperature of the cooked food, the temperature of the freezers and refrigerators - I could go on for an hour. Where is this place?
Dont know about that, it mostly do to not many inspectors. Thousands of resturant open and close everyday, inspección is maybe once in a blue moon. At my store, 7 years and only came once

I always knew I was pregnant when I went to the grocery store. Right inside the door I would start gagging. I am 73 now and that foaming chicken was like I was 20 again. No thank you to either.
I had a home outdoor freezer full of frozen meat and fish die on me in the middle of summer once and didn’t notice it until i started smelling it a day or so later. I will NEVER forget how powerful the smell of rotting meat is - it’s unbelievable.
Imagine not even being able to approach an object purely due to stench - approaching the freezer was as difficult as if it were engulfed in flames. Uncontrollable gagging and vomiting anywhere near it.

To be honest they were very nice and wanted to change, i imagine we’ll have episodes were that’s not the case😂, as soon as someone challenges Gordon than it’s gonna get good

my towns episode is episode four, and a famous tiktoker runs it with his family.. and lemme tell u he does not play around with what i ive seen LOL hes also italian, i think its gonna get good 😭 haha i also seen gordon when he was filming here sm times
@@JesusDanielle in a subsequent episode there is a total d*ckwad chef calling himself the Culinary Gangster. There are flashes of Gordon's old confrontational self but even then, he is still a bit nicer to that dude than he used to be. Maybe he's just mellowing with age!

I always knew I was pregnant when I went to the grocery store. Right inside the door I would start gagging. I am 73 now and that foaming chicken was like I was 20 again. No thank you to either.

I had a home outdoor freezer full of frozen meat and fish die on me in the middle of summer once and didn’t notice it until i started smelling it a day or so later.
I will NEVER forget how powerful the smell of rotting meat is - it’s unbelievable.
Imagine not even being able to approach an object purely due to stench - approaching the freezer was as difficult as if it were engulfed in flames. Uncontrollable gagging and vomiting anywhere near it.
