Unfortunately, the internal gyro is pretty bad on this car. Luckily you can turn it off completely and install your own gyro! I already had this gyro from my 1/10 scale drift car so I tried it out. For some reason I'm getting wobble even at only 40-50% gain, so I will have to try out a different servo or possibly a different gyro.

Choose a different Gyro. The onisiki is ok but not really good. Better use a gyro with avcs mode. Cheap and good: DumboRC G03, better: gt55racing v4 or v5, best: Futaba GYD450 or newer...
They all eleminate wobbling even with a worse servo.
But: A better servo is nevertheless a good idea. The stock servo is bad.

Great video, interesting you said your car had the tie rods on the top knuckle to start with. Mine came stock on the bottom, which causes interference with the lower wishbone unless you have the suspension low enough (which is about 2mm before it interferes with the body on the 1801 AE86). I tried moving the tie rods to the top to improve this but found the tie rods could not be wound in far enough to create tie out at the front.
Seems like there's lots of ways you can customise these and I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with over the next year.

If you buy this car just for drift, it only come with radio and ESC, the gyro and servo are trash.
No it’s not. Just upgrade the gyro and you’re good. If you haven’t tried then don’t bash it. This is a GREAT cheap RC drift car.
