Maybe the title should be “Least Favorite” versus “5 Worst” as these 5 are not bad bourbons and liked by many. That said, I highly agreed with all of your “Best” in a subsequent video, but not sure the 5 on this video are worthy of worst on my list. Enjoyed it though!

Good review overall. Just curious I just purchased a bottle of the Jack Daniels single barrel barrel proof rye barrel number nine bottled on September 18, 2023. I won’t say it’s a terrible bottle but it is definitely not good and I’m very disappointed. I don’t mind the proof, but there is a real harsh flavor to it, woody with a chemical taste and no other significant notes that I’m used to in a rye whiskey. I’m just curious what bottle and barrel number you both reviewed and loved. Thanks.
This is subjective. And something I try not to venture into as a bourbon drinker. Everyone has their own tastes and palate so this is totally subjective and something that is up to one’s taste and palate.
Not surprised that the JD10 is on this list. Everyone who hyped it when it first came out has realized it’s nothing compared to the JD12 (which is amazing)
Well, imho JD10 isn’t bad at all (it’s clearly the best bottle of the list), but it isn’t something special. And regarding all the hype (and the price) it is a little disappointing. JD12 is great, I would love to buy a bottle but I won’t pay 400 Euros for it. And where I‘m from, you would be glad to get a bottle of JD12 for 400 Euros ..
@@justinafuchs2619 I agree that JD12 isn’t worth that kind of hype as well. Around me they both go for about $250-$300 USD. It’s absurd. I love JD12, but I wouldn’t pay more than $150 USD for it.

I totally agree with you, that stuff is amazing. And I’m afraid I considered buying a bottle if I could get one for 150 Euros, but unfortunately that won’t happen. I‘m a sucker for the JD special releases, but the prices are ridiculous.

Ours was bottled 9/13/23 and was 128.9
While I do enjoy the BEP, I definitely agree on the rest.
I agree, I don’t think any of them are bad, it’s just the bottles we have didn’t live up to the hype.
I like a couple beam bourbon one is bakers 7. I have not gotten the peanut taste. I wish I could cus I love peanut
I love the peanut taste! It’s more of a peanut shell for me when I get it, it’s not on all Beam products for me, but it’s on several!
