C923 is my favorite batch of all time, dating back to C918. Other standouts were C919, B520 and C920. A123 was one of the better batches though since 2020, which was a great year for ECBP
The C923 is solid, my favorite has been C919. I'm going to blind them to see which one comes out on top. I may put A123 in just to make it interesting. Personally, I don't think that C923 drinks its proof. It doesn't come across hot. What's your take on that? Thanks, Scott. Cheers 🥃
On all honesty, I think my UA-cam enthusiasts have fallen victim to the age statement on the ECBP. I LOVED A123, liked the B623. The C923 so far has a strange licorice/ sharpie markie note that I don’t enjoy. Hopefully that flavor note will dissipate and I will love it more.😊
I felt the A123 and C923 were very similar in 2023. The B523 Just felt not well put together and definitely for me was not on par with the A and C batches. But hey, at the end of the day, all that matters is what you like best. Cheers 🥃

I just did this last night. C923 edged it out by a small margin.
The C923 reminds me a little of the 2020 batches- A-120 my favorite (slightly over C919) and it may be close- cheers

What's the laser code on your bottle apparently there may be differences in the bottling somehow.

Great comparison. I like all of the 2023 releases, but prefer A123. The C923 is flavorful, but a little hot for me even over ice. 🥃

I think the hype around the age of C923 has caused a lot of smaller retailers here in Madison to increase the price to $100
It's still worth it, in my opinion! An almost 14 year bourbon for $100 and with that profile, it's incredible
