- NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California marched in the LA Pride Parade in June 2023. This was NASA Armstrong's first time participating in the parade, and many NASA employees attended to celebrate LGBTQIA+ community and allyship.
NASA’s team included engineers, scientists, technicians, and mission support folks who enrich the organization by showing up as themselves. On Earth and at NASA, there is space for everyone.

Interesting how we celebrate pride the whole month but only one day for memorial day. Very prideful.
Oh wow! Nobody has ever posted that....yeah sure 😂😂😂
When this shit is pushed in our face constantly we deserve to call it out at every occasion. And before you call me homophobic and all that jazz, I am not, I just don’t subscribe to stupid cults.
This clearly shows that NASA wants to explore Uranus.
Why didn't you do anything for ginger day?
Hypocrites
very embarrassing for them and grateful I was born normal
So true
@@andersongoncalves3387 yeah 😌💖
Embarrassing to work for nasa ? Mmm 🤔 you wish , what do u do for a living ? Are you a saint ? I doubt it , so don’t call yourself “normal “Because we all have flaws .so nice try 🙄👍🏼
NASA is supposed to be advancing humanity lmfao where did we go wrong

Space is Gay!
i’m in this!!!! 1:00
AHHH THATS SO COOL
What a great use of taxpayer dollars
you do realize nasa takes of 0.3% of Americas budget correct? Look up a graph. You can barely even SEE the sliver of money nasa takes up on a graph.
24 billion dollars a year is absolutely nothing out of our entire budget.
here I found this on google:
“In that fiscal year, the overall budget was $6.6 trillion, of which 0.3% ($22.6 billion) went to NASA. The argument that we need more money for other programs won't work here because of NASA's relatively small percentage of the budget (0.3%) when compared to other aspects of federal spending.”
not religous, not hateful lol but no other country really celebrates to THIS extreme just america... have a gay brother and lots of gay people in my life but all are foreign and dont really treat sexuality like this? lots of people hate gay culture nowadays because of religion, but i dont like these types of events because it really is not relevant to the company's context like this is nasa lol it just feels extra like they want attention, and i would probably go to a pride celebration and get fucked up for the shits and giggles LOL but to attach it to a company just means theyre asking for attention its so extra and ingenuine.
Why is nasa into sex now
Because sex is yummy 😋 lol
How about you just stick to the cosmos and the planet like you're supposed to NASA, instead of becoming involved in a movement which has nothing to do with your expertise. It's thinly disguised narcissism to think that just because you read some stuff on a topic you can then engage in social engineering.
Woke mind virus
@@marydion7872Why does the employer know anything about the sex lives of its employees. That's super weird.
How can you be bullied based on something private?
@@marydion7872 Your last sentence "unfortunately it (the cosmos) also includes you" says a lot about how hateful you are. I never thought nor said anything derogatory about anyone.
Being bullied over something you can't control is common, yet we don't have a month for every type of person who has been bullied. And why does a company need to have a parade to show it supports it's workers? Shouldn't it just be a given the company is supportive and if there are cases of discrimination then they should be dealt with. A parade is not needed.
How is it controversial to say that a company should just be a company? What should Cessna get involved in palaeontology? Or Dell start holding Trump parades? No, because that would be stupid.
@@marydion7872 Why do people need to to celebrate a demographic to mean they are accepting of that demographic? NASA isn't holding a parade for black people. Or whites. Or asians. Or Jews. Or men. So if you're consistent in your beliefs then you must think NASA isn't accepting of these people.
Look, the sooner you realise you are an individual and not attached to a group, and the sooner you realise that you don't need to see rainbow colours somewhere in order to be accepted, the less stressful your life will become. I mean my God if I felt that if I didn't see an Australian flag or straight parade somewhere that it meant I wasn't accepted there, I would go crazy.
@@marydion7872 Medical info is also private.
What exactly is the employer supposed to support? I don't see why the employer is involved in the sex lives or other private matters of the employees.
I’m really happy that you guys celebrate pride! It means so much to me. There’s a lot of jerks in the comments and I’m really sorry, keep up the good work! ❤
Love you NASA!! Not sure why there is so many bigots in your comments… but thank you so much for showing support!
❤️❤️❤️
Cringe
They want attention , they’re probably feeling lonely 🤷🏻♀️let’s show some compassion . Lol
I thought they were interested in space flight and rockets. Now gay shit???
Pride cometh before the fall.
