"honey, let's have dinner outside tonight... next to the bee's"
As long as the bees are happy I’m happy
you know this was done in creative cuz we never see random chests full of wood and we never deal with rain. yet despite that the creator never turned on flying mode, which really helps show how to build something like this. great work.
huh
You can set your game server to free crafting now when you play, you don’t have to go in the creative mode for it
Tbh I never used temporary chests even for big builds.
I used the time running and gathering to wrap my head around the next bit I was going to do.
Ofcourse my builds do tend to be less pre-planned after the first rough outline, and it shows in relative simplicity.
I LOVE the measurements display on the base. That is a HUGE help when trying to make these builds.
the guy won the game. This is amazing display of skill, taste, editing, idea and implementation. I'm astonished.
You're gonna need more docks, cuz we're ALL coming in to eat and drink there! lol BRILLIANT BUILD!!!
This is one of the most beautiful builds I've seen in a game. People are so creative, thank you for sharing this!
you make this look so goddamn easy during the timelapse, then reading the description just how much planning and thought that went into it... wow... very well done!
Valheim and Sims builds will always be my most favorite viewing pleasure for build videos. Amazing
I wish I could pop into this server for a cup of mead, stunning build.
I wish we could download all these cool projects.. the server I play on has over 100 people and crazy cool builds over the whole map, and the owner is able to cut projects out and paste them in different worlds ..be a really cool way to make a set piece world for some role play
@@tylersays- I built a 14 person lodge yet to upload but we can only have 10 P's per map which f's it all up.
I want 100 peeps per map engagement. Lodges from all over the map.
@@myname604 I can ask the owner of the server how he did it.. he himself is a coder and has implemented a lot of his own stuff into the server .. you should really check it out before server wipe when mistlands drops because it's literally a whole world that's been built on by so many people over the course of soon to be 10,000 in-game days with no sleeping
Been building a lot in Valheim lately and have learned a ton from watching some of your vids. Incorporating measuring into a build is so clean and helps a ton!
Your attention to detail in the builds always amazes me. Paired with the amazing shots you take and editing those to transition to the beat of the music makes it a joy to watch. I'm already looking forward to your next video :D
Glad you like them!
Found this looking for inspiration and new techniques, did not expect to find such a well put together video. Hope your channel gets a nice boost when Mistland arrives 👍
Thanks so much!
found this in the middle of a trip and needed a break. thanks for letting me stop by :D
Inspirational. love the countertops and raised seating areas.
Beautiful and love the measurements on the build!
how does this man not have more subscribers. Vastly underrated channel. Great work.
@notgeralt I’d love to play and help build sometime. Let me know how we can link up.
I love that you did this in Survival. Awesome work mate. Subbed.
Beautiful build! I've learned to build into a river vs. the ocean shore. Rivers aren't affected by low/high tide! This allows your dock to be a stagnant elevation! I found an island inside an inlet with the river on one side and ocean on the other! It is the perfect location!
I really appreciate your work you have done. Great calming music. I have a few ideas I am 1000% going to use. Really love the inner dock
Thanks, glad you like it!
Another amazing build! I always enjoy your vids.
Glad you enjoy it!
Even added the trim work. Awesome job on this build.
Thanks 👍
Absolutely Beautiful, Nicely Done.
Great work, such edit and builds must have a boom with mistlands update!
This is an amazing job in game as well as the vid and measurements. Had to watch on mute those. Felt like the music from an 8th grade instructional video thats trying to connect with the youth of today while still getting their instructional captions across. Thumbs up.
Lol initially liked the video just for the intro music. That design is amazing by the way.
Amazing video. This is one of the finest master piece. Thank you.
Fantastic, I'm actually jealous and ready to get back to Valheim after seeing this. New subscriber!
OutStanding work mate, ...incredible planning and detail in this project - I was amazed at EVERY step = INSTA-SUBBED!
Thanks a ton!
I’m new to Valheim. I built a base I found on UA-cam the other day. It took me a couple of days (no cheats). Now I want to build this instead. I just beat the Elder boss, so I’ll finally be able to build with stone shortly.
This was relaxing to watch on a rainy day thank you. 🥰
Really cool build man. You gave me some great ideas for the island outpost I'm building
@notgeralt how do you record while building? Do you have a second person in freefly, and also, is there some way to do creative mode with more than 1 person on a server?
Awesome Build, this inspired me build a Tavern on the water myself, thankyou
oh this is so creative! thinking about it, this could be an amazing HUB area for any video game!
This is brilliant. Top quality in every area.
Thanks!
OMG lo fi timelaps builds - never knew it was my jam and what i need
This was nice. No narration. Just a time-lapse build.
Great build, I'd love Valheim to have some npc options in the future so that we can populate some of the impressive worlds out there
What a beautiful build!
Very one of a kind creative build.
Отличная работа. Спасибо за вдохновение и новые идеи.
I need to get back in this game. Seriously my favorite. It just needs a lot of fixing and RELEASE DAMN CONTENT!! I don't want to have to download mods that end up breaking after a month from some ultra minor patch the game releases.
About the build: I would've rotated my base to have all walls to direct north, east, south, or west. Reason is when you dig the earthen walls are always pointed in that direct. It makes it look more uniform which buildings typically are. It's also a great transition from the environments asymmetry to the man-made symmetry.
Yo great build. I loved the raised tables on the upper floors.
Thanks!
This is fantastic!
Tavern?! Mate, its a freakin fortress!
That looks sick, damn
I started too bild this! Thank you for this video👍👍👍
Thank you for the awesome content!
Glad you like it!
Very nice building & editing :)
Thanks!
Really great building.
Valheim: "You can build buildings in multiple different angles and shapes"
Player: "Awesome! are you going to provide triangle pieces to get everything to fit properly"
Valheim: "Hahaha fuck no!"
Nice ... and the music is so relaxing ...
Glad you like it !
Amazing build! You inspired me ❤️
Thanks!
Totally awesome video great build
Thanks!
Impressive! 💙
Outstanding!
Thank you!
Incredible
So satisfying
That's a new roof tile to me. It's pretty!
Beautiful build
Thank you!
Потрясающе!!! ♥
Great build!
Thanks!
Amazing!
Bravo - im very like this building
Holy crap, beautiful thumbnail, amazing Timelapse build, you’ve earned yourself my sub!! I’ve got a question and a suggestion! Question is how the hell you getting the Timelapse camera to move so slowly?? Suggestion is I think calling the title hearth and home might be hurting the video, the current version of the game is “cave update” not h&h. I’d leave the game version out of the title tbh. Also this is a build Timelapse so I’d put that in the title, so “Valheim - Island Tavern Build Timelapse” or similar :) Amazing vid, will be checking out the rest of your stuff for sure!
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. For the slow movement I use a controller at the slightest input I can get, its much slower than keyboard.
@@NotGeralt I must give this a go, I bought a second copy during the recent Valheim sale so imma try this out!! Getting my builds as nice as yours is another thing entirely 😂
What a beautiful build. Unfortunately, my potato pc can't make my valheim world as cozy as this video.
thats dope
omg you so talent
Very nice
Looks so cozy i actuallyt wanna sitt and have a cider there.
Very nice architecture! Though i personally would have made the boat docks separate and larger and added a bonfire on a roof platform as a lighthouse/beacon.
Also i cannot remember seeing any beds for weary travelers or much storage space for provisions.
But other than that, very inspired build!
Looks like it would fit right at home in Skyrim.
insane!!! how you do this flying camera? this video is absolutely chilling and beautiful, congratsss
The showcase would have been even nicer with a karve inside.
I love the idea of this layout!
wow i will be stealing some ideas from this build XD really awesome job!
Have fun!
Nice 👍
19:13 Hey, there's the first customer. And the tavern isn't even build yet. :)
At the 19 min mark of the timelaps imagine if you had to deal with one of the base attacks, specifically the one the spawns like 5 trolls. That happened in my lets play of this game.
missed opportunity! it could have been a mcdrive for longships ;)
anyhow, nice creation - a pretty design and enough details to make it feel comfy.
alernatively this could be a good setup for a fort of sorts. still very cool building.
What program was used to record the timelapse? I also want to shoot my building like that, but I don’t know what is needed for this.
Absolutely effin’ amazing. You deserve a sub for this build alone.
Do you think we could recreate this in normal mode or do you have to go into debug mode? I’ve never heard of that. Is that a special build mod or something?
Glad you like it. I use freecam for the recording but everything I create can be recreated in vanilla.
Nigh on a century ago, me father's father started it all. He saw a small island in the middle of a large river, little more than a small mountain o' dirt amidst the water. Anyone else saw it and they passed by, 't'was nothing important' they said. But the old man? He saw something no one else did. Potential, he called it. So after his last share of raidin' he came back to that mound of dirt with nothing but an axe, hammer, chisel, and a dream in his own mind.
They say he worked like a man possessed, working through whole days without sleep or food, that he swore he'd not leave until the job was done. And with years of work, of evening out the land, clearing trees and rocks and breaking a section open for boats to enter, of countless hours of working wood and stone, he finally did it.
Crowe's Rest he called it, after the birds that seemed to be his only company as it was built. And it turns out he'd chosen the location well. Longships came up and down that river every day, looking for a hot meal or a pint o' mead. With ships came customers, with customers came gold, and soon he got got far wealthier off that tavern then he ever did while raiding.
So if you want to have a leg of lamb and a good drink to wash it down in a place with some history, then come on down. 'Cause that's not the only story we've got down here. Everyone who comes down here has left a story or two o' their own, and every one that comes by adds just a bit more history to the Crowe's Rest.
nice
My brother in Odin, this looks amazing! My only concern is about the wooden floor outside when it rains.
My concern is, that's a lot of fire lighting on a flamable structure xD. Looked awesome, cool build.
Hi I'm trying to figure out how you did the outer layer of the bottom frame I can not get it to line up
hello can i ask how you made this timelapse and what editing software and recording software you use i'm aspiring to make one like you.and how do you record urself building stuff while panning the camera D:
I'm watching the video very well. I recommended it because you are good at architecture. I want to know how the camera rotates slowly when shooting?
You built it on top of a grave. Place will surely be haunted lol
Holllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy this is so god damn beautiful.
Very cool. Now do one on one of those turtles in the ocean biome.
huge deck
How can you make it this high? You often seem to use very simple ingredients. I usually have difficulty doing the roofs of houses. I can't cover the house.
I know this is old but this is incredible, BUT, what happens when there's a storm? Does the water just flow through the building
:( ?
It’s very nice. How do you do that? Play and record your gameplay like a Timelapse? It’s a very good idea
How did you make a build that was so tall? I just tried making a 6 wall high watch tower with stone as the base and using wood for everything else and the game refused to let me build past a maximum of 7 high, just a bit more and I could have put my roof over it and it would have been complete.
I had loads of pillars inside around the spiral staircase going up to help reinforce it as well.
He used iron beams to reinforce the stone
Iron beams to make sure the overhanging balcony stayed intact but round logs held up most of the rest by themselves, they're better than normal wood. Also having a stone foundation
Awesome build! How'd you get those nice smooth panning camera shots?
I have a 2nd character using freecam.
@@NotGeralt How is the camera moving while you are building? Have something pushing the controller stick on for the free cam character? You have inspired me to try this.
@notGeralt: Nice house man - can I ask you for an advise please? How did you manage recording video while you are bulding house? Thx man
I have 2 pcs on a lan server, one using freecam for recording and one building.
did you record it while building it ? or is it possible to make a fast timelapse from the world file or something ?
I, somehow, find more interesting how do you film this? You can program the camera smooth panning, pathing and following?
It's using the freecam command, but I'm using 2 computers, one for building and one for the camera.
@@NotGeralt I've knew it! ty
