I am 100% going to be using some of your build and design tricks in my world.
I find the angled black marble is better for a chicken breeder, using just the roof with a gap tends to result in them getting stuck in the area. It's also easier to feed them and check on them whereas a floor overtop makes them impossible to check on.
Great job figuring out a new way for the automated "unaliving" of the chickens, since they have decided to stop climbing ladders! Must have taken some hours to come up with!🤩
They still seemto climb up 26° stairs though.
@@HandyHanderson Sure, and so does the chicks, what I mean is that earlier you could make a quite effective automatic slaughter house because hens walked up stairs and chicks didn't. You just put up a fire below the stairs and smoked the hens without hurting the chicks.

I just haven't understood how do you feed the hens on the breeder. You close'em up but where do you put the seeds?
drop the seeds above them and they will eat it.

im trying to replicate this breeder not the store and my wolves wont breed am i missing something that they've changed
check if they are eating, i had the same issue and it is because the food wasn't close enough, make sure the food is touching the wall they are facing and it is directly Infront of them. Hope this helps.

Yeah well I do have to admit it probably works and it looks nice. I still don’t like it very much. I just think that automatic farms and Butcher Shops with freezers and stuff don’t really belong in a Viking environment even if we add a little fantasy. But again just my personal opinion
