Went shopping yesterday with my friend at Macy's. The cashier left tags on 3 items. 2 on hers, 1 on mine. (Yes, we did pay for them) We wondered why the buzzers went off when we walked through the door. We thought it was the kids fooling around at the front door. She found hers last night and I found mine just a bit ago. We are NOT driving back 50 miles down I-4 on a Sunday to have these tags removed. Thanks to everyone who figured this out.
Macy's seems to be the biggest culprit.
My husband leaves at 4am for a business trip and the lady at Macy's forgot the tag on his suit!! Crisis averted. This was easy, thank you!
Thank you so much! This saved me big time! I realized at the last minute that the security tag was on my dress for a special event. Thank goodness you made this video! Thank you again!
you saved my wife's night at the Opera. thank you. Used a serrated knife and nail plyers instead of industrial ones.
You saved the day! thank you! We bought a shirt for my husband to wear today on Thanksgiving, and the store left the tag on. We drove to family's house 200 miles away and had no back up shirt. Of course Macy's is closed for the holiday, so we couldn't go back there. I found your video and got it off super quick. Thank you thank you thank you! lol
Thanks. So frustrating, those security tags.
+Lisa Brown It sure is, especially when you have no clue how to remove it safely. Got lucky that the one I had to deal with didn't have the ink pack.
GRACIAS, MUCHÍSIMAS GRACIAS ,THANK U VERY VERY VERY MUCHO JEJR SO MUCH ;)
Great that works thank you
I found an easier way, took me 30secs, grab a knife (I used a butcher knife) and flick the back part off.
+Crystal Lewis I wish I had one. It would have made my life easier. But nah. Glad it worked for you though.
why dont u just use a strong magnet??
+Glibsi I didn't have a strong magnet available in the house. And it was also laundry day and I needed to wash it that day. So, I made use of what available tool I have in hand and did what I can :-)
