Thank you! It worked! I got home and realized there was still a tag on one of my shirts and I did not want to drive back to the store. You saved me a ton of time!
To anyone else that sees this use a magnet instead. With a strong enough magnet it will lift the pins on the inside and it will come off. I’m seeing this fork thing all over the Internet and don’t understand why the magnet method is not being shown off more.
@@mikemikemikemikemikemeup because not many people have a random magnet laying around. The point is not to have to drive back to a store hun. I saw that method too though.

Occasionally, the cashier at some factory outlet stores I shop, seems to always miss one or more security tags for removal. Glad I found your video. This saves me a trip from going all the way back to that store. Thank you so much!
omg ur a life safer! thank you. i bought a dress from an online thrift shop and was surprised to find this thing on it. glad that i dont have to throw a beautiful dress away or damage it
Thanks.. after 30mins of trying hard, and using all the methods including burning, pulling with plastic bags, 2 fork method.... Finally what worked is a fork and my 100% strength of pulling it....ufff!!! It was from an online store, didn't even have an option visit the store to open this
I would use my old sets of forks, which I did in this video. Just use it only enough so that you can use another prying device to remove one end of the security attachments.
thank you, thank you, I have had a dress from Florida that I couldn't remove the tag left on by the stupid csshier about 4 years ago. I got it off using your method within 1 minute.
Wow. Thanks. Literally took me like 15 seconds. Got some dye on the jacket but rinsed out easily. I ordered a jacket online and live about 60 miles from the nearest store so this helped a lot. Thanks!!!!
Wow, it worked for me as well! My forks are totally bent and useless now and there is a large hole on the shirt and some ink leaked onto it as well but it was a tiedye shirt anyway so no one notices!
Thank you soo much, this is working very well 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻, we tried right now 🤩 and we are very happy, because this store was to far away to get back, thank you ❤🙏🏻, we can relax now 😊
Hey awesome video bro! I can't tell you how much this helped me. I bought a very expensive sports brand track pant , more than $200 and the guy forgot to take out the e tag. I went to the same brand stores in nyc and all of them refused. This was different from their machines it seems. This is bullshit since I went to the flagship store of the sake brand in Manhattan, NY and they couldn't help me out. Anyway your video did the trick. It did almost take me 50 minutes but I did it with 2 forks, just like you showed. And there was no ink in this one too. They lie for some reason, there's no ink in them. I'm traveling to London today and the $200 would've gone to the dump. Thank thank thank so very much. Appreciate it
Thanks a ton. I just got a jacket from Puma and saw the security tag. I tried several methods from UA-cam but either they failed or were too dangerous. Your technique of using forks worked
I bought shorts on vacation and got back home to find a white one with a round top.. I’ve had them for months afraid to wear them anywhere lol I did this and it’s off!!! Ty!!!
Wao thank you you saved my life!! I I bought 2 pairs of shoes and on the day of my trip I realized they had that alarm. I wanted to die because I didn't have any more shoes for you. I tried it and that's it, you saved my life
They're removed with a strong magnet. I worked at Nordstrom for years and every cashwrap has the silver magnet mounted on the counter that removes them. Btw, there is no ink inside.
Thanks for this video. Your video was inspirational for our quick fix - just cut the pin with sharp diagonal cutters. The local (defunct) Reebok outlet store forgot to remove the tag off the shoes. Just now realized the fault after leaving them in the closet. Cutting the pin works very well.
If you want quick and easy, use a pair of diagonal cutters. Start cutting away the plastic on the small side (the same side he originally put the forks on). It took me about 4 attempts. The first 2 or 3 were only cutting small pieces of plastic off, and then finally I was able to cut the entire small plastic piece off. That left the metal pin with a head that was too large to slide through the clothing (think of the pin as a nail and the small plastic piece as a washer that also encloses the nail head), so you take the diagonal cutters and cut that head off. It truly is quick and easy. At no point was I thinking I might give up -- I could see continuous progress in my efforts. I suppose everyone has forks though and might not have a pair of diagonal cutters, but an inexpensive one in the $5-$10 range will suffice, you don't need to spend on a more premium one, and you'll likely find other uses for it to justify buying it. In hindsight, it might have been easier to cut off the plastic on the raised part of the large side. With that cut off, a small spring should pop out as well as the piece that holds the pin and 4 small bearings. Of course if you have a strong enough magnet (don't throw away an old hard drive without scavenging the powerful magnet it contains) that would be the quickest and easiest method.
Ok i tried the 2 forks and didn't work. I found some wire pliers we had here and was able to cut off the small round white thing by cutting it up to pieces. then pull the big part right out.
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. I was worried about that too. I used my old forks that I didn't care if I scratched or bent them. I hope you find a way to remove the security tags.
Cold Gravy sent me cargo shorts with a security tag on. I did a hybrid burn/fork. I lit the top notch like a candle and let it burn until the spring and metal container popped out but the four ball bearings remained. I waited for the whole thing to cool down a bit and then tried the fork method on the other side and it all popped. I would easily do this again if it ever happens.
I will try dress i got like 4 yrs ago and forgot to take it back to the store and when i did the lady said that thing to remove it they dont have them anymore

what zype of strong magnet removes them? can i t be those small magnests
@@farisking8265 It's a silver, circular magnet with a divet in the center. The magnetic force allows the pin to be pulled out from the garmet.
