The Valve King Mark II would be my go-to amp for certain sounds. I tend to lean toward writing and recording mid-60s-style music. This amp with a stomp box, set for a lot of treble, grabs the early-60s Keith Richards type of "fuzz". Count 5 comes to mind as well. For blues, Just dial in more bass and lay off some of the treble and ding around with the compressors and you have the classic blues sound of the latter 60s. Cool stuff!

Revalver can be connected to a Headsrush pedalboard. Can I then also edit presets on the Headrush? Maybe a stupid question
Youre gonna want that 5150 mode..l i spent about 100 bucks on it over the free version.its worth it bu makes my old pc cough😊
Towards the end of the video you said it's a "headrush" plug in, I thought it was made by Peavey. I used it a few years ago, my Peavey Vypyr came with a copy
Peavey sold it in 2019 to Audio media Research and then Headrush took it over in 2021 I think. It’s definitely been on a weird journey over the last few years. I think Headrush will do a great job with it now.
Man i bought this years ago and peavey just kind of dropped the ball with it and seemed to abandon the whole thing...i always thought it was killer but almost no one knew about it...gonnna try this new version,and hope my ilok transfers from all my old purchases
I had the same feeling. I think Peavy didn't invest too much in marketing and some other plugins became more popular. When I received the email of the released of the version 5, made from Headrush, I was so happy.
After updating I was a bit upset because I thought they didn't change much, but just added new amps and stomps to buy, but I was wrong: I made a direct comparison between R4 and R5 and the latter with the same exact settings sounds better! So they did improve the old thing and added new stuff! Cooooool

Same. I have revolver 4 and always loved the usability and the way it sounded.
I might be a bit thick.. after signing up with an account the frebies still seem like they are in demo mode. Also, what kind of USB devices are they looking for????
You get full access to 2 amps, 3 stomp boxes and the matching cabinets for the amps plus the input and output effects.
The plugin still shows all of the other amps that you can use but those ones will be in demo mode.
I have signed up with an account, and the free amps and effects still shows in demo mode with the beep warning. When i try to log in, next step is the hardware lock, this is where i'm lost.. what USB devices. Seems like i can't get pass this step. @@AudioTechTV

Oh. It’s their weird security thing. You have to lock it to a usb device. It can be a usb hard drive, audio interface, little thumb drive. It had to be something that you know will be connected when you will be using the plugin or standalone program.
I noticed when I did mine that I had plug in the usb device once I got to the screen where it says that it’s looking for devices. It didn’t work by having it already plugged in so I just disconnected and reconnected then it noticed it right away.
So when you get to that screen disconnect your audio interface and plug it back in. If you want to use that. Or do the same with a usb drive.
I tried the USB drive several times and suddenly it took it, all good now! Thanks

Have you tried a preset to see if maybe that helps?
If you can hear the DI’d signal coming in without the plugin on the track then you should be able to hear the sound through the plugin.
They seem to be using the original Peavey logo.. wouldn't that land them a lawsuit.. or is it like a Peavey pack?
I guess when they purchased Revalver from Peavey the original models and logos were part of the deal.

I only have the free version and mine came with stomp boxes. I even show them in the video.
@@AudioTechTV Yes, same here. I can only find them in the presets though. If I try and open them individually, it says they're unlicensed. I'm probably doing it wrong! 😅
The Revalver 5 looks like a fire free amp sim. Cool looking design, Effects like dope & the guitar sounds are very clean.

I don’t get it, none of this is free for me, not even the exact ones you mentioned. Every single one is “demo” version???
Did you do the usb device thing? If you don’t connect it to a usb device then the whole thing will be in demo mode. It’s a weird anti theft thing.
