Wow, beautiful finish and grips. Love it. I have a 4 inch model 19 combat magnum. It's a big beast of a revolver.
My late father bought one ca 1964/65...the "Combat Magnum" w/ checkered target Gancalo Alves stocks and no lawyer-proofing lock...in my day you didn't DARE go into your parent's room...much less their stuff..discipline was rough and swift and certain...there were no shootings, killings...but there were plenty of ass whipping in their place

I love the wood grips but imma be lugging mine around alot so I plan on using the rubber grips

Que belleza de revolver. Envidia de la buena. Lastima que en mi Pais Colombia, no importan armas tipo revolver, y solo venden en revolveres, el revolver modelo LLAMA INDUMIL, que es muy bueno, pero si le dieran a los que nos gustan las armas la oportunidad de escoger entre un revolver LLAMA INDUMIL por un SMITH&WESSON; COLT; RUGER o inclusive el TAURUS, el mercado seria más dinamico.
En todo caso lo felicito se ve preciosimo ese revolver
Why didn´t they make it in 4" and 6" barrel lenghts? I mean whit full underlug and compensated barrel.
Designed for concealed carry; hence, short barrel.

I have two L Comps and two Carry comps
Got the classic Mod 29 but the classic model 19 does nothing for me, I have a model 19-4 nickel plated…
I have been wanting to get one of these for awhile is it worth the price??
This model is very well made and is a modern implementation of the time proven L-frame revolvers: www.smith-wesson.com/product/model-19-0. A bit on a heavier side for a day carry, but that is subjective. MSRP is around $1,100 but you get what you pay for.

@@kroisostreasure I believe that’s a K frame. Modeled after the original 19. The 586 L-comp is an L frame and is a 7 shot revolver. Beautiful revolver nonetheless.

5.minutes of wasted time, you can do much better than that, but the gun is beautiful, for a magnum three fingers on the grip for better control on recoil, Bigger hands need more grip for small gun
