07:45 You Can And Choose To Live In The Present
09:08 You Think About If You Want It Rather Than If You Can Afford It
    10:24 You Don't Want Much
At what point have you "made it" financially where you can tell yourself that you're doing pretty good? I think it's important to ask yourself this question because if you don't you will forever live your life running towards something with no destination. In this video, I share 7 signs that you have made it financially.
    1. Making Money Is No Longer Your Top Priority
For the majority of people in this world, money is always going to be a priority; however, once it stops being your top priority then you have made it. When it opportunity to make more money comes into your life and you can decline it to do something you deem more important, you have made it. Many in this world are in such a bad financial spot that they have to put making money over everything else.
    2. You Have Margin
The key to achieving success in life is having margin or a buffer between you and being broke. Margin gives you time and certainty in life and when you have a large margin or emergency fund, then you have made it. You can take more chances and have more options in life.
    3. You Can Deny Money If It Compromises Your Values
Sometimes it doesn't matter how much money you are offered, when something compromises your values, it's not worth it. However, many people are in a tough financial spot that they have to do things they don't necessarily agree with because they need the money. When you have enough money to protect your value system, you have made it financially.
    4. You Can Say “No” To People
The most powerful thing money gives you is the ability to say "No" to people. When you have money, you are not desperate and can tell people off if needed. Many people are so desperate financially that they are unable to say no to people due to the fear of consequence. When you have enough money to lose that fear, you have made it.
    5. You Can And Choose To Live In The Present
A huge problem many people have is always living in the past or future, but never living in the present. Poor people have trouble because their past decisions affect their present and they worry about the future because of their uncertain present. Whereas rich people often live in the future and hustle and grind in the present hoping that it'll pay off in the future. You have made it financially when you can and choose to live in the present moment.
    6. You Think About If You Want It Rather Than If You Can Afford It
Many people are in such a tough financial spot that all their decisions revolve around money and whether or not they can afford it. You have made it financially when your decisions no longer revolve around money and can do what's best for you rather than what's best financially.
    7. You Don't Want Much
You have made it financially when you can do whatever you want; however, you don't want much. Wealth consists not of having great possessions, but of having few wants. And if you focus on what you have instead of wanting more, then you will live a content, happy life.

At the very least, I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.

Starting early is simply the best way of getting ahead to build wealth , investing remains a priority . I learnt from my last year's experience , I am able to build a suitable life because I invested early ahead this time .

It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

This type of content is worth GOLD. A few years ago, I went from making 50K a year to making 100K a year. Instead of buying a bigger house or getting a newer car, I saved for an emergency fund and invested 10% of my income. I was just laid off, and I'm not freaking out because of that cushion. And guess what? Now that I'm applying to jobs, I see that with my skill set, I can make way more. But I'm still going to live at the 50K level, because it's the first time in my life that I'm not stressing about stuff like this, and this is PRICELESS.

Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. A trader made over $350k in this recession influenced market

Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a-lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.

Great video! Margin sounds like FU money...a great thing to have!
I retired from the US Military 3 years ago. I could be working for the military as a civilian or contractor making serious money on top of my pension for another career. Fortunately for me, during my military career, I lived below my means, avoided debt, and purchased assets (real estate). I was able to say no to various job offers and return home to live in Jamaica. The American Dream/rat race is designed to keep you in debt so you have to keep working. Understanding when you have ENOUGH is extremely important so you can actually enjoy life/the present. Once again, great video!

  • @deerhaven3350
    @deerhaven3350 4 місяці тому +2

To me, I felt I "made it" not by becoming a millionaire, but by knowing that I have "enough" and am content with what I have. Living well below my means has assured me of a relatively stress-free adulthood, with an overall feeling of security, comfort and well-being. You cannot put a price on that, because it's priceless. People who live champagne lifestyles on beer budgets will never get ahead; that attitude will only sink a person deeper into a lifetime of debt and possible depression.

Something else it can do for you that is similar to your being able to turn down sponsors that don't align with your beliefs is you can stop shopping at retail establishments for the same reason. There are several big box stores that would save me money if I shopped at them. However, I don't like their business model, how they treat their employees and what they are doing to consumerism in general. Fortunately I am now in a position where I can say "no" to those retailers. Also--love the plant display!

You should let the viewers know about once you do make it financially, how even though you don’t need the money you’re addicted to making it. Even if you don’t need it to fuel your lifestyle making 50k a month turns into a drug that you cant say no to
