Sound demo: our 9 favourite guitar and bass tones from the BOSS GX-100

Boss recently announced its latest guitar effects processor in the form of the new GX-100 and of course we had to get our hands on one for a demo.
There are over 150 effects derived from the flagship GT-1000 Core and the floor unit also benefits from 23 AIRD amplifier models. Plus, there is support for loading speaker Impulse Responses with a wide variety already onboard.
The pedal offers tons of flexibility. Inside you have up to 15 slots available for amp models and effects. While on the outside, the unit is loaded with a multitude of I/O options including MIDI, multichannel recording over USB, a send/return loop and connectivity for two footswitches or an expression pedal.
There’s also optional Bluetooth connectivity and a mobile app for remote access to the menus and effects routing.
In this video, we sift through a few of our favourite bass and guitar presets from the pedalboard to give you a flavour of what the GX-100 can offer.

Can u you do a video on the Boss GX 100 using MIDI to Switch amp channels on a MIDI capable AMP ..Am using the MESA Triple Crown Head.

I've been trying to find video about using the Boss GX-100 for bass. This is the first one I saw that showed. I see videos that say you use the GT-1000 for bass, and I'm debating what to get. Not a bass player. Just want to do some amature home recorders in my one bedroom apartment.

I play bass and either the GT1000CORE or GT-1000 or the gx-100 will be a great choice. With the available parameters to adjust you can make anything a "bass" effect. Not so big secret... many "bass versions" of pedals are only different in appearance.
