My father is suffering from nerve pain and numbness for about 7 years, after he had a shwannoma removed from his spine. Can you recommend a clinic in the Seattle area that treats neuropathy with PRP?Thank you!

Hello! I am 25 and have a damaged nerve. It started at the beginning of 2020 after a visit to a physiotherapist where I had acupuncture, they tingled my first three fingers for two days and then it hurt in various places, mainly in my hand until September this year, when it was a great improvement, because I almost did not hurt anymore and I do not know what came to my mind to go to physical therapy and after a few times, mainly after strong electrocurrents, it started again and it was even worse. Now every day I feel my hot hand as if it were a terrible scalding. I have feeling and strength all the time, but the pains are the worst. I'm afraid I have damaged a nerve now, a lot. I can't sleep. It's terribly hard time for me now. I went to the doctor and he said that only time will heal the nerve, but that it should heal. I am asking for some tips, doctor, about this burning pain, whether it will stop, is this burning worse than before, what I had a hurt pain that was fixed and what Mr. Dr. he thinks about it all. Regards.

Nerve injuries are difficult as they can be very painful and disabling. There is a safe and effective way to treat injured nerves with nerve hydrodissection injections. This can be done with either dextrose or PRP as both decrease nerve inflammation and stimulate nerve healing. The nerve hydrodissection actually releases the nerve from any compressions, adhesions or scarring, freeing the nerve. This typically relieves the pain fairly quickly and allows for the nerve to regenerate. I will be uploading a nerve treatment video in the next week or so, so stay tuned. Consider a consultation to discuss further.

CMT2a is a severe axonal neuropathy. There is no clinical studies of PRP or Lasers for CMT2a neuropathy but I don't see why it couldn't help. We have successfully treated many patients with axonal neuropathy (alcohol, chemotherapy, others) with a combination of PRP, Laser Therapy, nutrition and physical therapy. It may be worth a try. integrativerehabmedicine.com/conditions-neuropathy/
