I just love how DRAKE just presents this ship like it's "your first line of defense against pirates" while their biggest customers *are* the pirates. XD

I am actually somewhat curious about that as well.
but yeah, SC just makes a complete joke about elite "new features" pretty much ever since elite actually launched. Good ideas from the comunity, bad design and even worse implementation afterwards and just a complete disconect between player and company.
@@mobiuscoreindustries Yep but ED is a propper and complete game you can enjoy for 20 bucks and SC after spending 70$ in an avenger titan... I realised that it is a crappy game full of bugs and glitches. Stil waiting for a game that will be never launched. They prefer to sell spaceships in their crappy alpha and hyped ppl to bought it.
@@sigunat because SC is not yet a game, it's an alpha now (to repport bug to the developpers). I think is better to wait the solo game to have an idea about the quality of the future star citizen.

This stuff is way cool. Getting people to get along enough to have a group that not only can pilot that ship/turrets but the ships docked on it long term is another story. I can see it more if there were payed incentives like in game salaries and committed time slots but over all people just wanna be their own boss. I hope for the best with this game.
I find it rather entertaining how the ship debris of the exploded ship kinda glitches out a little bit at 2:10
This ship reminds me of the spirit of fire or the Yamato
The Connie commercial is still the best but this is a close second. The Kraken has a nice Wing Commander capital ship vibe about it.

At 2:11 it seems the ships destruction physics are still royally fucked.
It stops on a dime, becomes a discolored or untextured hull, jerks forward a quarter of an inch then stops again.

I like that the Valkyrie and Kraken have brought back the ship COMMERCIAL style trailers, rather than the cinematic trailers we got for some of the newer ones.
It makes more sense to make them like this too, because they can use the ads in-universe that way.

What's really cool about the new cinematics for the ships.. is that they are now made by a team who used to make in game UA-cam videos - just normal backers like everyone else. Chris liked their output so much, he hired them.
Even being the Hornet my favourite ship, I cant denny that the 600i's commercial was a masterpiece...
