If you can aim, living among stormtroopers makes you a Mary Sue whether you want it or not. Arguably this is why many people don't like me. My mind's eye can aim so well, many think I got an aimbot running.

Stormtroopers miss while their targets are out in the open and they're actually aiming to kill not suppress.

I love how we can actually fly in game right now most of the vehicles we see in the video, even the Mantis is used as it can be actually in game. It’s so cool.
You can tell about doors, you can tell about weak weapons, you can tell about the stupid elevator on the cargo area, you can even tell about the secret bay that is no secret. But one thing you can not avoid to tell. The Mercury Star Runner is a beautiful ship.
She knew the trick to vault up the ladder, hence why they are not dead of course. I'm sure she wants to put a panther repeater shot into the head of the crusader designer responsible EVERY time she ends up needing to press that elevator up button... As an aside, it'd be hilarious to see a scene where she stops to look at the elevator button in disgust while vaulting up the ladder from the cargo deck on the way to the bridge. It'd be like cig going "we know, we know....."
This was pretty good, would totally like to see more. However, the dialogue could use some less cheese and the running scene was implausible - any kind of evasion (like smoke) would've made it at least marginally believable. The talent is there, though.
Despite the heavy plot armor (running with no armor straight down an empty area while being shot at by ~50 people), it was a nice short film. Liked the SW reference, it was a nice touch.
I'm really hoping to see many more of these types of rendered vids from CIG! I liked it. It was everything everyone is complaining about, but it was still fun and I'm hoping as they do more, that they read these comments and get better. It was pretty cool seeing the concepts for these ships come alive in how they were intended. I have to wonder if every Crusader Mercury has those "hidden" compartments, how are they a secret? That's like cars having a "hidden trunk." I think they should make a separate channel or list just for these types of vids. They get completely lost in the ocean of videos they put out. Too hard to find and too hard to keep up with. I don't watch the other vids that much, but I would watch these as a series... ...and CIG. PLEASE either shoot less or hit more. That was pretty bad.

This was fun to watch. The teeth are bright to the point of being unsettling. The exchange and escape were so over the top that it wasn't believable. The final betrayal and reconciliation were so fast that they weren't believable. The utilization of so many vehicle assets made it feel like an extended commercial.
Funniest thing are the explosions around the place as they run away... far funnier than the aim of the people shooting at them. Also the fact that the fleet at the end has a mantis and they still just qt away...
My heart sank when she turned off the engines so close to planet.. every time I've done that it ends badly.. I expected a fireball.. and yet the Mercury star rose up higher. Very great production from the team. I do also agree with stormtrooper comments. It's very fun to watch these videos as it is to play the game abd have it be relatable.
I know that falling with the ship off, turning it on last second, and swooping up is a sci-fi trope at this point.... but it never gets old! I love these kind of videos and hope CIG keeps making more! THANK YOU!!!

I for one, like the Star Wars type of action scenes. Yes I know the "storm troopers" have terrible aim, but it's so much fun with guns blazing all over while the antagonists are running. Sure I think the same thoughts, yes they can't shoot, but like that stuff and I absolutely loved this!
I would love it as a star citizen show, imagine the content they could make on the already existent verse. Makes me want to play the game even more now!

This is awesome!! SC should start its own UA-cam series. Character animation could be a little more fluid, but the camera and action is awesome!! Vehicle animation is spot on!!
The good: Nice ground mega structures )need more of those. Nice clouds in the sky. Nice ground details (that Ballista shot on the top of the ridge was delicious). Nice flight in athmosphere without magical hovering. The bad: Cringy stromtrooper NPCs that can't shoot Main caracters feels a bit generic The tripple backstab senario was too predictable

Absolutely awesome, I dont even mind plot armor thats to be expected mostly. I liked the acting and loved to see the banu although he was in cryo and some use of Banu language is awesome too.
A lot of people don’t realize that these are in game assets through and through. If they can get hero missions up to this quality or some of the fleshed side missions as well then it will work pretty well

I know with the release of the Mercury Star Runner, they joyfully leaned into the Millenium Falcon/Star Wars vibes for this short, but man, does this formula work. I hope they put out more short films, television, and in-game story with this kind of tone and chemistry between characters. It's part of what makes the Star Wars films and even the Marvel films feel like such an exciting ride. Well done, CIG. 👏

I have actually nose-dived straight toward the ground with the MSR powered off, then turned it on last second. It really does handle like this.

Absolutely awesome, I dont even mind plot armor thats to be expected mostly. I liked the acting and loved to see the banu although he was in cryo and some use of Banu language is awesome too.

A lot of people don’t realize that these are in game assets through and through. If they can get hero missions up to this quality or some of the fleshed side missions as well then it will work pretty well

I know with the release of the Mercury Star Runner, they joyfully leaned into the Millenium Falcon/Star Wars vibes for this short, but man, does this formula work. I hope they put out more short films, television, and in-game story with this kind of tone and chemistry between characters. It's part of what makes the Star Wars films and even the Marvel films feel like such an exciting ride. Well done, CIG. 👏
