You’re videos are so cool and very informative. Currently picking up a 5.7 for my dads 1991 D150. Planning to do the swap and add these holley components.
That’s a nice intake !! Looks really good !! Easy install too ! Gotta like it I agree with ya’ s two thumbs up 👍👍. Question .... can this intake fit in a third gen Ram 1500 5.7 or is there one made differently for the truck An is it available ??
Wouldn't the truck intake be the best? I guess assuming you can get the variable length runners programmed in to the tune. No idea how hard that is lol
My issue is the tune i havent ever done one so i have no clue whats involved and where to go or who to go with im trying to save as much money as possible so im able to do this
just wondering if that intake would work on a stock 5.7 ? mods so far CAI, BBK Shorty headers and Borla Atak catback with Diablosport 93 tune . Headers are going on soon with diablosport tune.
I have soo many questions? First did the sniper come with all the necessary hardware required to swap it out? Second does it require a tune? And third did it come with the injector spacers?
Looking to get this for 2017 ram 1500 sport wondering when install do i need to get my truck tuned? Also how does and intake filter and tube fit into the engine bay or does it need to be relocated?
guys where did you pot the pcv ? i have same sniper yet to install is will oil cap breather and a catch can from the oil fill nick to the cai will be enough ?
What did u use to plumb the Bottom of the intake. What all did u hook up I mean. I recently bought the same intake and am wondering what all needs done or doesn't need done
What fuel injectors are you using and did you need any injector spacers like I have seen for the regular sniper intake? Does that thing fit under your hood? Looks like it may be sticking up to high. Any concerns not having a pcv valve?
for me it did ask for spacers and i had to cut i little of the firewall because its too high for my chrysler also the rings that came with it was no good i had an air leak so i used oem 6.1 gaskets
@@johanahmed5660 Hmm so it fit in the front where it looks to tall but had to cut the firewall? What year of Chrysler 300? Guessing they're all the same for the most part this would be for my 07 300C stroker build. I've heard of some having vacum leaks with these Holley's and some not. I already have some 6.1 intakes gaskets. Ask for spacers from who, everybody I've seen had to pay extra for the spacers. Holley should provide those but don't. What do you think of this intake? I was thinking of going with the Edelbrock but the damn thing never seems to be available or an eta. Not really interested in doing a 6.4 intake besides I want to use my Hellcat throttle body.
@@craigslue mine is 2007 too with heavy mods . In front i got a big tb and spacer so ya i did cut a little for the cai elbow. In the rear of it , it cant fit in ez specially that i have a strut bar so i had to cut and bind a little in the middle of them ,, the injector spacer i did mine custom made , i had a leak in the right side frst hole with it o ring gaskets but i guess the 6.1 metal gasket will have it do . For making up for lack of pcv because those manifolds are not designed to run them i did add an oil cap breather and i added a oil catch can from the oil fill nick to the cai .no oil leaks so far
@@johanahmed5660 OK thanks for the replies. All sounds pretty doable without to much hassle. So how do you like the intake performance? Are you NA? My only concern is the lowend performance and torque. As far as pcv I think a guy coud drill the intake base for a pcv valve but I'm thinking going old school and drilling a hole in the valve cover and install pcv with gromet into the valve cover or just using a breather/filter in each of my billet valve covers. I was thinking a guy could also fab up a new top for that manifold and find a way to extend the runners for more lowend with an aftermarket hood which I would like to do eventually.
@@craigslue well the pcv is not a must , i saw many race mode mopars with no pcv just some of them saw oil leaks after sometimes and some didnt ,its up to how oily your car is if you know what am saying lool . Mine wasnt even oiling the catch can for 6 or 7000 miles almost non inside it because i run oil cap breather and oil nick breather and use a good racing oil so the crankcase is breathing well .. And about the power my car go up to 700whp with nitrous but i didnt run a dyno it with the manifold yet but as far as i can tell it did take a little at the low end ( you can make it there by other ways ) but it gave a lot of response and a good amount at top rpm beside the cool sound of it , as a 14 years mopar tuner i say its not bad mani but go smaller if you dont have cam and heads etc .
Trying to install this intake on my charger, & im struggling to find the throttle body adapter or a throttle body to fit this intake thats not drive by wire, please! What was used on this?
I bought my race series mani but have been lagging on the install. I have everything including injector adapters. Waiting on being able to tune it right away. Or do you think it’ll be possible to run it around town easy on the pedal. ?
I have a 2020 challenger R/T. Only concern of mine is it looks like it sits quite a bit higher then the standard holly sniper. Would the stock hood work or would I need to upgrade?
@@bubberrand sounds good, looking at doing a FRP cam, long tubes, the Holley sniper valve covers in the next year and this looks like it would be a nice addition
All that money and work, and you hook up your oil / valve cover breather line back to your intake. Not good. There's a reason old hot rods always had a separate breather cap.

That came out awesome 😎!!!!!! It does look 👀 like a nice part to add to any motor!!!!!!!
I think so too!

As long as it's a gen 3 it should fit
There pretty nice I installed one a few months ago pretty good an not bad for.the price
Any info on how much HP/Torque was added?
Wow《☆》Nice piece. Probably lighter than a Eldonblock manifold & better design🔊III[[[[☮🇺🇸

My M1 and kegger intakes are not that light.... Lol
Bro did I miss the video? Have u fixed the vibration??

Did you guys need to get the adapters for the injectors? I know the fuel rails would hit the oil fill neck on some of these intakes.
I want to see it on the track
Thats this weekend 💪

Did you have to change the throttle body to 90mm?
I would also like to know if not what throttle body did u use?
Mines didn’t come with fuel rails nd I’m needing too find right ones
What parts did you have to get to to work, any vacuum leaks? Does the rubber gasket seal properly?

Is this plug and play? Thinking about doing something on 2015 dodge charger 5.7
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍👍👍👍🤘😎🤘
Did you have to modify the intake at all? I've seen some pretty bad reviews on the quality control of these.
Do you need the Holley Terminator X or will it run perfect with Stock PCM and obvious physical support mods for fuel and throttle body

Does the stock hood fit and lock perfectly after this install?
For a daily driver do you think just upgrading to a 6.2 Intake for my 1500 5.7 Ram would be good?
No such thing! A 6.2 is a hellcat and the intake is a blower 😂
Uhh you mean 6.4?
Does anyone know what's wrong with the actuator valve because I want to put Intake Manifold Holley for a ram 5.7 2014

No this is more for top end power and racing not towing.
does this add hp and if it does how much?
I swear I hear a vacuum leak…

Can demon hood fit it in?
Do they make one for the 3rd gen. Ram 1500
