I enjoy watching people cook outside some do a really great job an some could make a person starving for a wk wonder which would be a better option starve or eat this person's cooking. Thanks for the video it was fun to watch and I would eat those rolls without a second thought.
I love your resourcefulness. The cooler top plus a water bottle for rolling out the dough. And yum! Cinnamon buns. Glad you can make these in the forest!
As a former pizza maker, you have to get the air out of it before leaving it to rise! You're basically folding it on itself tightly over and over and over and over and over but stop if it starts to rip! It should be tight with no air bubbles. Twist the end to "close" the dough and slap it down! Then, it will rise between 10-25 minutes in a sealed container depending on how much yeast is in it! Great video! Love your channel!
You are so good at improvising! I make cinnamon rolls with a Kitchen-aide and an oven, with all the supplies. I was impressed at the ability to make the rolls with a pot on a burner. You’ve hit superhero baking status in my opinion!
Ah.... a definite yes to Episode 3 Angie!! 😉 The cinnamon buns looked delicious. 😋 You should also be very proud of how your match-lighting skills have improved 🔥👏 Really loved the 'rising wait time' entertainment too!! 😉 You're the best!! Thanks for sharing. ❤😊
They look so tasty!!! 😃 Your vids never fail to get me tickled and stay chucklin' throughout 😆 Thank you for that and as always, please stay very safe!!!
You're doing a great job Angie. When I was much younger and living in NYC with my family, I tried to make pizza and the dough didn't rise either. Shrug. Oh well. Then, decideded to go down to the local Pizzeria instead. lol
You just made my day! Yes, please, continue with showing us real food cooking on the road. How about adapting the sweet roll technique to something savory... a meat and veggies pastie. Btw, I just saw a Travel-lite tripod stool ($10 at Cabela's) that might be easier to handle than the collapsible one.
Amazing! I've never even tried cinnamon rolls in my well stocked kitchen and yours actually made me hungry. Love these videos, please keep it up. I think a round cooling rack that fits in the bottom of that pan will really take your outdoor baking show to the next level.
You have never tried cinnamon rolls?? You are definitely going to have to give it a go, that is if you want to have buttery, sugary pastries in the house. I really like that idea! I am going to have to see if I can find something like that to fit the pot. Thank you!!
The trick is to hold the match upside down. Pinch end of stick between thumb and forefinger, and use middle or ring finger to press matchhead into striking surface. When you strike- should feel like a quick wrist rotation- the thumb will rotate the match so it's pointing roughly 45degrees downward inside your hand, clear of burning your fingers but sheltered from the wind by your curled hand. Give it a second, once the chemicals stop their tiny explosions the flame will immediately start to climb up the stick for a slightly larger flame, instead of starving for fuel from its own progress.
My favorite channel! So entertaining. I think I saw you in a Walmart store when you were in Arizona back in March. If it was really you, I missed a blessing not meeting you.😊
baking while in camp is indeed tricky. get a trivet - something that you can use to elevate the rolls off the bottom of the pot, and then it turns the pot into an oven while covered at low heat. i used to make single muffins in a 750ml small pot this way and it really worked. you have great ambition and are wonderfully geeky while on this journey!
Ooo muffins, I was thinking of how that would be possible, very clever. I did end up holding the pot slightly off the burner after I noticed it started to burn. I'm definitely going to have to look into that!! Thanks for the tip!
Without a trivet some aluminium foil crunched up lengthwise and like a spiral in the bottom of the pan works as well. The more fancy but still lightweight option would be a omnia pan. Do you have those in the US?
butternutbakeryblog.com/easy-homemade-cinnamon-rolls/ I have tried a few different recipes, but this one has been the best I have tried so far! I halved the recipe in the video so I wasn't stuck with a dozen, but enjoy if you try it!!
Make me remember that cooking is a great physical exercise, isn't it? It should be consider a sport too 😅 Just like the cooking series, will you share your exercise routines one day? Maybe? You look fit and slim so i always wondered... how? 🤔 And yeah. Fruit and veggies are delicious too. I also love water. Mmm... water😅😊👍
Why get a battery operated candle lighter! Also great for lighting things like campfires also you definitely need to a cast-iron frying pan in a cast-iron pizza pan that sit on top of each other this way whenever you make something like an oven, you can cook or fry whichever item that you put on top higher temperature and then put it on top of whatever item you want to create an oven like temperature ❤
Happy - Really happy you didn't try this in a tent... I think I would have rolled them the other way, but you are the chef. When I saw your salt shaker/grinder 2 thing cam e to mind: 1- did you tow a trailer to bring this semi humungous shaker of salt? 2- you could donate this shaker to several 3rd world countries for lifetime survival. I still wish you good times and safe travels!
Exactly! Sure your pastry gets a little dirty with some brown specs, but at least your water bottle is clean. Hahaha! (I did wash my water bottle before I started, not that everything is super hygienic when you're "baking" outside with all the bugs and what not.)
They saw the early stages of the process (not the actual rolls themselves) and my wild crazy eyes. I think they made the safe choice haha! Stranger danger.

I enjoyed that. I am very impressed ❤
Nice cooking episode with deadpan humor thrown in as an unexpected bounus.
Made my day better 🙂
I love the way you live right now. I really wish I could try it on the weekend but I need to clean my car out lol

This is my new favorite cooking show. 😂
Nice to see the real life trials and tribulations of cooking on the road with limited supplies. Well done! Glad they turned out.
nice work on the cinnamon rolls Angie! Thanks for sharing the cooking lesion with us!💖👍😎JP
I love your videos. Thanks for reminding me to not take life so seriously. Cheers!
I would be the camper that said sure, I will have one, and then bring some espresso or latte or capucinno with me to the CRP (Cinnamon Roll Party).
Well done! I was really surprised the cinnamon buns cooked over a burner😊
those are some seriously delicious looking cinnamon rolls
and cooked in the outdoors! hecka tasty.
Those cinnamon rolls looked amazing! You never cease to amaze me.
Nom Nom. Good Stuff Angie.
YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY!!!😊

Great work, Angie! :) Fun to watch you make the cinnamon buns.
❤❤❤
👍🏾
Love the cooking shows. You have such nice buns. Sorry, couldn't help myself - lol
I totally missed doing bun puns in this video! Haha!
@@angieontour1 never mind, I’m sure you’ll bake something up for Episode 3.
"It's been an hour already? I hardly noticed any wait time!" LOL you have good instincts Angie - Roll On!
I got the pun. Nice.

I wiggle my fingers when looking for things also. Especially things I just saw a second ago. 😂
I don't even realize I am doing it, until I am editing and then the forehead slap. Haha! I'm glad I'm not alone.
@@angieontour1 don't even sweat it. Being relatable is part of the appeal. 👍

Thanks for your videos, I am preparing to hit the road at end of this year
Oooo, good luck!!! The fall and the winter are a great time to start with a lot less people on the road. Safe travels!
I thought you said “Corona cocking” and I was like whuuuuut lol
I loved the video and santo to try them so bad

That was the most detailed description of how to properly light a match I have ever read. I have taken a screenshot for reference! THANK YOU!!

Your life made me feel able to skip limited condition ,from Thailand

Looked very good though 🙂
I heard a rumor the Food Channel is trying to contact your agent about a reality TV show. Go for it. Maybe call it Flying Flour.
Oh that's who was calling?? I need to pick up my phone more. Haha! I love the name.
At least youtube didn't call your "Cinamon Bun - Dumpster Cinamon Bun" jk Angie lol
Gosh you are bringing some smiles from 3,465 miles east..buy a lighter I have same stove...
Love it!🎉 please share recipe! They look amazing 😮

A little burning on the bottom isn't always a bad thing but combined with a dry bottom it can present problems.

Do you prefer baking or cooking protein on the road?
I want to try that recipe even though I live in an apartment
The oven method is interesting! At first I was like, "Wait, how are you going to bake it without an oven?!"
Very poorly. haha! But it was edible, and now they are all gone.
You know we "Love" your cooking, Angie!!! Especially the "calzones" Do you know how to make NY style Pizza? Yum!
Would that recipe work with poppyseed? I bet it would. If you haven't tried poppyseed bakery I recommend it.
Can we get more cooking videos 😁😁😁
Angie, Would like to go on some adventures with you! When you get back to the North East look me up! :))
Good way to clean off the water bottle by using it as a rolling pin 😂

@@angieontour1 I believe that 🙂
Think if you baked 'em in tin foil you could turn them over?
I can't believe I'm getting this for free, after the price of internet.
Is that an Avenged Sevenfold t-shirt? 🤟🏼
Sure is. Rock and (cinnamon) roll!
ok... I'm impressed... doing this kind of sh*t while camping??? Much respect woman
hows about campfire chocolate chip cookies next.
You are so sweet and pure! I wish you the very best in your travels! You are quite wholesome! Much love to you! :)
What's wrong with your neighbours lol. That looks 10 times better than anything I can cook, I would have fought you for them.

...and then I noticed her shirt and realized my lust had turned into a deep and meaningful love.
You need a companion, a midium size dog. She will give you a more psychological attachment for your viewers. Be safe!
