Super clean build. If I may give a suggestion, running the WMI through the throttle body is good but only draw back we saw is at the higher HP numbers and boost levels because the WMI isn’t hitting the cylinders evenly we would see knock here and there. Then we tapped into the factory intake manifold and put a nozzle in each of the runners. Problems went away and with 100% Meth we saw 500hp and 28psi with 91 octane and zero knock issues. That’s on a stock block and head too, gotta keep the torque curve gradual and below 400ish if running stock rods or POP!!
@@arsenyrazhkov4559 with my JB4 tuner on a relatively stock 14 jetta 1.8t minus CTS intake, BOV and one cat deleted along with muffler and resonator delete I’m getting the epc light as well It gets in consistent boost along with that, without the tune car runs fine
I like the brake mods, I have a Mk6.5 I Think I'm going to go hybrid IS38 on Ethanol. Big pipes all the way around to go with it ;D Of course I know I'm pretty much on my own when it comes to tuning for it. Unless you bare suggestions :o

I have a 2016 Passat B7 1.8T same exact engine as you and Unitronic doesn’t make proper software that's compatible with our cars so what I'm gonna do is go full Stage 2 using Revo (APR Discontinued thiers) then upgrade the turbo later while stacking it with a JB4 to optimize the Turbo use. Also gonna do DP, Intake, FMIC, Catback Exhaust, Charge Pipe, Throttle pipe, Upgraded Engine Mounts, Pulley and MAYBE the water meth injection. Any other mod recommendations for maybe engine internals to make sure the vehicle can handle the power/boost? Also, how is the transmission holding up?
I assume you have a SIMOS 12 ECU and not Simos 18. Is that the reason you didnt go with UniT stage 3 tune? I want to go boss turbo but haven't identify my ECU compatibility

Bro this is a great build. How reliable has it been since you stack JB4 on top of stage 2?? How many Km sdriven since? Im not worried about clutch, just ECU issues the jb4 could cause or major failure. Thanks.
You can email reflect and ask if they can tune the CTS big turbo. They have files for the biagio and xman big turbos for the 1.8 so I’m sure with you being a UA-camr they could make you one
You’re not gonna make 420whp with that CTS Turbo running an APR S2 and JB4 Stack. I went with the Biagio 400 turbo on my GLI and got it tuned from Reflect and made 429whp
I actually will with meth. Car made 360WHP without meth. And I never said precisely 420, I said I’m hoping for 420, but will be probably around the 400WHP mark

Drives well. It was a pain to adjust the meth accordingly but eventually it was all dialled in

I’m pretty sure you can run it on the 1.8T with the JB4 custom map. I don’t know if you necessarily need an APR or Unitronic stage tune
