Hey Arseny a while back I installed a traction control button on my mk6 jetta, a must if you ask me lol, but whenever id do burnouts on dry pavement wheelhop was awful, I just put a spulen dog bone mount in today with the polyurethane insert (as well rs7 plugs and rs3 coils), but the dog bone made burnouts👌👌👌. Not sure if the mk6.5s come with a traction control button stock or not but ecs probably has a kit for your car too.

You should get throttle pipe and discharge pipes from cts turbo. Faster spool. I have unitronic stage 2. Cts also has a big turbo for gen 3

try to paint your wheels in gun metal or gloss black with some nice lowering springs it would look even better

do you have to wire in auto headlights and rear fogs with the euro switch or how does that work i have the stock halogen and with that will it make the headlights turn on automatically at night and i have led drls with they come on in auto

Don’t waste your time, trade that shit in. Been there done that. Did it all with mine, no stage 2, you’ll spend up 7 or 8k and eventually have to go stage 3, possibly a 5 speed swap. Otherwise you can go stage 1 plus and still spend money on mods to get the most out of it. You will still need a TCU tune, most companies don’t carry it for that year/trim, I had to go to a private tuner, still having oil leaks, manifold codes to get rid off, and I spin tires. The Gli at least comes with a limited slip. I’m telling you, trade that shit in, get a 2.0 ANYTHING ELSE, even it’s an Audi. New 1.8s are nothing but trouble, even in the golf.
Get the Gli, at least with a stage 1 plus or whatever, exhaust, downpipe, intake, you’ll make at least 270 something off the bat. If it’s dsg - dq250 ( the newer tiptronic) there’s plenty of service for it out there, if you get it stick it can always be upgraded but clutch service is expensive, though not as expensive are upgrading/replacing dsg. I cannot warn you enough... do not build on the 2014 1.8, it is a headache. Not impossible cus I’ve done it somewhat but the results are iffy. Trade that shit in while it’s still low mileage bro.
@@nativesumerian2146 don’t know enough about 2014 and under, but The 2015 and up ea888 gen 3 1.8T are very well built. Forged bottom from the factory, my buddy was pushing 392WHP on a boss turbo kit from CTS and a pro tune, reliably

Everybody keeps saying that! The side mirrors are bone stock. Everybody thinks they are dynamic. Not sure why

What model are those seats out of? I have a mk6 Jetta tdi Premium and it's a different leather. A different gen? Maybe passat?
They should all be the Same leather seats for non-GLI Jettas with the exception of 2011-2013 years. Those years are more pleather, not real leather. 2015-2017 jetta seats are real leather.
How did you manage to get your diverter off? I bought one for my car but gave up after 3 hours cause I couldn’t reach the bolts. Did you just struggle through it ?
It was a pain. But We got it off with a combination of different extensions and swivel sockets

Literally all of those, are coming in the next mod video. Just waiting for the FMIC in the mail from my sponsor. Bumper will be off for the FMIC, so everything else will be added all at once

Apr stg2 codes are available through a bunch or different vendor's, ask around they are there probably not forever.
What venders? I have bin looking . If I can’t find it I am just going big turbo and custom tune. More $$ but benefit is 300+ hp and 335 fpt

Does the Euro switch automatic switch work properly without any lights on the dash? Also did u have to add any sensors for the switch or a simple swap out for the old one.

Does the car vibrate a lot with bigger wheels? I just got 18s and it vibrates a lot. Not sure if that’s supposed to happen
It’s not suppose to happen, you need to get hubcentric rings
yeah I had to add rings myself a few weeks ago that stopped the vibrating i was getting at 65-70 mph , but now i get a slight vibration when i hit around 80mph think my alignment might be slightly off possibly?? Got the car little over a year ago so who knows last time it had one done but it doesn't seem to pull to the left or right.

How did you do your license plate relocate and where’d you get everything?
Head over to RHO plates website, and look it up by car. The kit comes with instructions, it’s a pretty straight forward install. You use the tow hook location

Just got 2017 Jetta se as my first car, I’m thinking about first getting the new intake down pipe and blower bc it kinda sounds like shit stock. Instead of getting a new car senior year I kinda just want to mod the fuck out of this

I don’t have fogs, I am getting them installed in a few months. And that’s where the switch plays an important role because you hook up the fogs to the switch!

I’m getting the intercooler next, and exhaust last. I personally don’t really like super loud exhaust, I like more of a sleeper feel while cruising and mainly turbo noises when giving it full throttle. I might consider the CTS turbo 3 inch exhaust

I do a little bit, but it’s actually the plastic shield underneath the front bumper that rubs going
Over big dips, because the shocks bottom out. It wasn’t like that right away after install, my stock shocks are just staring to blow. I’m getting bilstein B8 shocks which should fix the issue.
@@arsenyrazhkov4559 Intresting, well I guess its something to consider- I would love coilovers but for 200$ it seems like such a steal. Would you say they helped with body roll quite a bit?
@@nickchristofora3417 definitely did, just upgrade your stock shocks to bilstein or koni and you’ll be loving the setup
@@arsenyrazhkov4559 I guess so, but for the 600$ that's all going to be I could just save up and get the BC coilovers- Ty though Im not crazy about lowering it to much, I really was just trying to get around a 1-1.5 drop but everyone on forums is saying all the lowering springs really drop it like 2'
@@nickchristofora3417 Maybe it’s true what people say on the forums about H&R springs, but definitely not the eibach’s that I’m rocking. They truly did lower it only 1.5. Just enough to make the fender gap a little more pleasing to look at.

Those headlights are so dope. I've been considering the 2015 GLI headlights with the LED DRL's for my 2013 Jetta but damn, everything is so expensive. I'm opting to replace my halogen bulbs with LED's instead. Thanks for sharing!

There’s a big turbo kit but no software for it. Still in development by Unitronic
@@arsenyrazhkov4559 I believe theres a few big turbo kits out there. You'll just need a custom tune from a good euro shop and you'll be moving
I've been in contact with people who spoke with unitronic directly, they said they are never releasing a stage 3 software option for the 1.8. custom tune is about the only option at this point I've been trying to get a hold of malone tuning to see if they can help.

That’s what I was thinking. I’m looking at buying a 2017 Jetta TSI and doing what he did. Found one for cheap and great condition. The new VW GLI is out of my price range so I might have fun with the tsi

@@Go4Gusto I have a 2017 and 2019 tsi. 2017 is faster off the line with the 6 speed and harder suspension, but 2019 has a better ride and much more options.

True but I have a 2014 gli edition 30 and have cts bov downpipe throttle pipe discharge pipe rs3 coil packs with plugs stage 2 unitronic and like you I did all the work myself. Bov took me a lot longer than you though. I gave up twice. But love your car. Where I'm from there's not much be love
