16 gli here like the OEM plus look. I try and go for the subtle visual mods as well, under the hood is a whole different story. Stage 2+ uni tune, and a laundry list of supporting mods. The dogbone mount doesn't add any real noticeable vibrations, I'm full stage 2 mount kit(all motor & trans mounts) and that shakes my dash under 2k rpm)
You gave me some ideas for my MK6 Jetta . It’s also white . Planning on doing all chrome delete and going with a black n white theme . Yours is looking clean 👍
For the head unit i run a kenwood DDX9907XR they arent cheap roughly 1100$ CAD, but they support upgrades , back up camera’s and android auto/ apple car play!! You also get to chose the opening screen and change it to what ever you want and lets you play around in debt with all the audio settings
Nice. Ive got same car .. 14 gli 30th edition. White 6spd with 180k miles. Bought it with 4 miles on her. No k04 on ours since its gen3 motor. You can do is38 swap or a hybrid turbo with tune be around 360-380whp. The 14 was a bastard yr but lots of potential.. Ive got front and rear sway bars with summer tires it made the most difference in handling. Just grips n grips. I have koni shocks with DG springs. Also for clutch i have the TT-RS pressure plate with TDI clutch disk feels oem but holds 500hp.
Nice! Thats a ton of miles for one of these... IS38 is what I was looking at as a "one day" mod. Hopefully eventually. Clutch info is super useful... never heard of that combo. Is it an upgraded TDI clutch or factory? An OEM clutch setup is very appealing as I like the feel of the one I have currently
@@squarestateboys6467 clutch is parts bin, basicly use a pressure plate from Audi TT-RS, and use a clutch disc from VW TDI with 6speed both perfectly fit into our cars. Oem smooth and still hold 500-600lb of tq
I like the diffuser on your car, I wanna get one for my car & maybe the splitter. I got my shock n strut & coil over kit from Bilstein because they were having a sale, & the difference is night & day, the car handles so much better now. I have a hood strut kit from Redline & I love it that is a great mod, no more prop bar.
Dont get an off the shelf tune for this carrier will work well but find a pro tuner that does VW you’ll get better numbers with them and they can help you with a crackle/pop tune and you might shoot some flames 🔥

is there vinyl in the intake manifolds slits? it looks super clean with it glossy like that and i forthe LIFE of me hate the way the intake manifold looks and how much dust it retains!!!!
Now you need some 10mm wheel spacers in the front 15mm in the rears and some brakes from the a gti with performance pack calipers 345mm in the front and 310 mm in the rear, pair them with some 2pc rotors from ECS Front and rear with steel braided lines. Sway Bar with adjustable links front n rear and a subframe brace. For the sway bar, you can go with 23 mm 24mm. Thank me later. 💯💯 that will cancel out the body roll.
I got it just liking how it looks but because it sits so close to the wheel its actually nice to drive. Even makes it a little easier. Not sportier, but easier

@@squarestateboys6467 oh it's just an OCD thing. When hose clamps are a little too big for the hose and then they are tightened up there is this sharp tail that sticks out from the hose. I trim mine if I can't get a better fitting clamp (or I use stainless steel wire for an aircraft style connection if it won't be removed often). It's just cleaner looking and won't scratch you if you have to reach next to it.

Urotuning primarily, and ECS tuning sometimes. Modded euros occasionally as well

Had a sway bar, but a brake upgrade was next up on the upgrade list

Apparently there's a few. It's tough to say which ones, but I've heard of it working for some folks.
Check out the RCD330, bit pricy compared to most other carplay screens but works very well and looks very OEM

Have not! I can't even tell a difference in light output but if they don't like it it's easy to remove anyway

I had smoked out tail lights for my 2011 jetta , just got a new 2017 jetta and I almost cried because the lights don’t fit .. $200 down the drain 😢😢
