@@danielb6472 that and was crazy or special about that build. 5 tons and unbreakable? driveline brakes, not knowing tire size but knowing all abou the wheels and body kit. Clean build, but beginner level stuff. At least they called it what it was...
@@D3thM3tal other than the custom wheels it isn't a crazy special build. In fact I'd call it a pretty run of the mill mud truck. There's nothing wrong with that either, he doesn't sell it as anything other than what it is.

The TT he was racing wasn’t his. That was Jax redlines truck. Ken was just doing a few races with them that year. But I do agree, I always wanted to see Ken in his own TT racing more desert stuff

As a long time owner of a 1988 MJ Comanche with a 4.0L this is nice to see. That 4.0 is a reliability beast and was VERY fast for back when it came out. Kenne Bell even made a supercharger for these and called it a corvette killer.

Can someone from hoonigan explain why the solid axles on the monster truck are listed as independent suspension during the intro? I'm not an expert but there is some sort new axle tech out there that makes that possible?

I used to have a two-door Cherokee , pretty rare actually . I'm pretty sure only about one out of a thousand were made as two-door's . Mine looked pretty damn sick too , it was a limited . So black paint with gold stripes down the side and gold honeycomb wheels . 👌
