I liked how Heavy D said "I guess we own that truck now" right in there willing to take ownership for him and Diesel Dave (or any of his guys) whenever a mistake has been made. He is a stand-up guy. So very thankful Diesel Dave is not hurt. That must have been one scary moment for all the guys until they knew he was alright.

He said "WE" not me lol they're all grown men here that can certainly afford to pay for their own mistake's not to mention the views alone from just 1 of their video's posted most likely can repair the truck 2x over (with the estimate he said valued @ 40k for repairs) and im sure Dennis took this into account when you allow another fellow from outside the family to wheel your rig of any sort, so doubt it was even a real issue.

Dave showed such focus and carelessness at the same time during both pre-impact and the rollover. Him holding the wheel, keeping the body relaxed, head up and feet planted. Vehicle is one thing, but Dave is not replaceable. Good shit for us to see out of the crash for the future. Glad you good man!
Yeah when it cut to the cockpit cam and i saw him holding to the wheel tightly while crashing i thought man that could have gone bad. Reminded me off F1 crashes were some less experienced drivers keep holding the wheel in a bad unsaveable crash.

Absolutely freaking amazing! Goes to show you the importance of a well-built roll cage, after looking at the truck and how badly it got destroyed; and Dave walked out of the truck unscathed.

Saw this yesterday on Uncle Packey's channel. Amazing how well that truck kept Diesel Dave protected. Even crazier seeing it from inside.What a repair bill!
Protective gear is a must in any kinda racing. And that’s why there are regulations and all on cages and seatbelts and always invest in good seats and gear. It can be life or death.. it isn’t like the old days stuff is built too help keep the driver compartment safe. Sad part is a lot of ppl try to save money in this area when you spend $50k+ on a motor and trans and plus that on making the thing pretty. Don’t skip out on the safety side it’s the most important area.
Thank God Diesel Dave is ok. At the end of the day that’s all that matters. Amazing video guys! I love the carnage for sure, great wreck! Keep up the great content guys! God bless y’all!!!

Diesel Dave’s finish reminded me of Cleetus’s in the stadium truck race. Both of them could not handle the pressure and could not take their foot off the peddle.
Naw far from that. This wreck here wasn’t anything too do with him and the throttle what so ever. He hit the jump at an angle. Idk if you have ever been in something making this kinda power in top of the suspension of both trucks it’s not like driving your daily driver.
I wonder if Cleetus is up for this type of racing. He has pretty much done almost everything else.

If you still have the cement truck. From the cerro Gordo pour. Do you start it and spin the drum to empty any rain water that is rusting the inside of the drum. Some gravel could be spun to perhaps clear any rust out.

I was at the race and was 100' from when he stopped rolling!!! In my 23 years as a firefighter I just knew he had some kind of injuries. To see him walk away from that was amazing!!! My hats off to the builders of that truck!!!!
