I actually had a nightmarish experience trying to get the transmission to seal back up to the engine after replacing the flex plate on a mid-90's Ford Explorer. It's not always that easy. Having the right tools (and being able to see and access all sides of the transmission) helps immensely.
How is this a 50K engine when you can buy one from texas speed for 25K and its turn key. Its 28K with shipping and taxes and i live in Georgia a good distance from texas. Even cheaper used or from summit. If anyone knows why I would Love to hear your answer.

On the coilpacks, I've had all of mine appear to be bad while another set appeared to fix it. Actually turned out to be a bad chassis ground to the coils. The "good" ones had an internal short between signal ground and chassis ground making them work even without a solid chassis ground. Fixing the bad ground made it work with the original set.

Love this. Are you guys worried at all about fuel range with only a 22 gallon tank. A lot of these trucks run a 50-100 gallon fuel cell. These engines are thirsty and driving offroad =extra rolling resistance reducing mpg even more. It’s probably in the single digits for mpg. And please do some pre runner testing before the actual race to try to get parts to fail. Then you still have a chance to correct them before race day. ❤❤❤ all the love guys. We want you to succeed.

Incredible what you can do with an unlimited budget. I miss the old stuff that made me feel like i can do what donut is doing but in my garage. That being said the way the truck roared to life was pretty cool.
Personally, I would have swapped the headers to the opposite sides and pointed them towards the windshield, then use some pipe to make it follow the windshield and exit at the roof.
I’m a mail carrier as well it’s not a bad job at all I’ve been working 5 hours a day and have been getting paid for a full 8. I’m not disappointed about the job and I’m not super excited about going to work but I don’t mind going to work.

could not agree more i just dont like the long exhausts that they added. maybe bend them down but then that covers the rad
