Very helpful video and the Bluetooth module installed first time thanks to you. My wiring was slightly different but I don’t know if that because I’m in the UK so spec could be different. Ground wire was heavy Black/Green (pin 12) and ignition live was a slimmer Yellow/Green (pin 16). I did take a picture but can’t seem to upload it. Thanks again for a very helpful video.
followed your vid and converted to bluetooth in 15 mins. One difference was getting the radio out - Mine was held in with 4 screws behind the facia therefore no need for the removal tool. Thank you 👍👍👍👍
Go here and do a search in the store for the model radio that you have, they should have it. biurlink.aliexpress.com/store/613459?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000061.1.5f222395GKfzHm
I just got this adaptor but i dont understand what to do with the power cables. Do i have to remove the green and black and yellow cables that are already plugged in or do i just push the wires from the bluetooth adapter in the same hole the cables are in????
Hey i just bought it and put it in thanks btw but i have a problem my calls are not working with ford audio Bluetooth plus the voice command option on the car doesn’t work anymore is it because of the new Bluetooth adapter or something else ?
I installed a speaker only dongle, so no voice, but you have the option of buying one with voice. It takes the phone slot on your bluetooth and nothing else bluetooth will work unless you have a second BT channel installed.
Hi! Thanks for the video. If I'm not mistaken, it is good for hands free call. It is using the mic of the phone, or external one? How is the sound quality? The people on the other side of the phone is hearing everything, without any lack? Thank you.
You can buy it with the microphone etc for hands free, this particular one is just to play your music from phone or other bluetooth device thru your car radio.
No LED on the module. Check that you have a good connection with the 2 power wires (Red and the Black), and be sure that the red is connected to a "live" wire, to make sure she powers up.
@@PTPVods The Red one goes to the yellow green and the black to the thicker grey black one, you should join them to the wires before they get to the plug, splice them in, don't cut and replace, in other words each join has 3 wires (2 are the originals). make sure these connections are correct otherwise no power to the module.....
@@Bulltahr I used some cable connectors as in your video to connect the wires together. I have power in the radio but when I go to Aux channel, no Bluetooth option on my phone. Not sure if its a power issue or my BT module is faulty
@@Bulltahr We've had some interesting development- the Bluetooth is working but is only coming through on the speaker and at the very highest volume but its barely audible. Any guesses?
No, not with the default wiring loom. Maybe if someone has re-wired the power wire to bypass the ignition system and running it directly off the battery...
After I installed it the speakers on the right side are not working. If I switch it to CD or radio all speakers work. Any ideas why that's happening? Cheers for the video
I would check the module plug that goes into the radio, make sure that all the wires are firm in the plug and not lose or broken. It's unlikely to be a problem inside the module itself....
Hey, great tutorial! I got everything connected as shown, but I can't pair my phone. It says "Bonding Fail" on the display. Do you know how I might fix this issue?
Nice and easy explained gonna try this later on my fiesta. cheers mate

Just fitted a bluetooth dongle in my ford 2010 ford c-max, It's all working brilliantly, thanks for your help, it took me a bit longer than 15mins🤭✊
Straight forward enough very helpful.
well done and like your music choice 😎
Hello kind sir, do the steering wheel commands work after installing this module?
I did what you did the problem is only one speaker works over bt, fm radio and cd works fine on both speakers. Did I do something wrong ?
What are the bits used to splice the +/- together?
Brother i did everything. It also connects but there is no sound. How can i fix this?
Thanks for the video!!
hi i have a 2010 ford focus lv lx..it has a different stereo(factory thou) not a 6000...can you still put this module in it..GREAT VIDEO..cheers

Great instructions, but what if the 6000 rcd does not have an AUX button, but says CDDJ? Thanks
Did you find solution? Have same one as you 😢
I eventually bOught a unit that says AUX.
Very clear and well explained video, just what I need to install the same on my Ford , thanks!
Hi,
Can you please tell me the colors of the cables where you connect the red cable and the black cable of the bluetooth adapter.
Thanks
It's in the video.......... power and earth.
Do your steering wheel comands work? Eg. Next song, forward, volume etc
No, it only links your device as an input to the car speakers....
I Just do it.... But now I cant find the Bluetooth in the rádio
Encontraste solución, tengo el mismo problema que tú
Try pushing 'Aux' button.

Just splice your powers into those wires, it doesn't have to be at the plug itself, easier to splice them in further back up the loom.
Hi, mayve I missed it in the video, but your cd player still works right? Or with this mod you disabeled it and the aux stayed?
nevermind I think I found the answer in the comments

Where do I get a blue cable connector? Thanks.
Any auto parts store will have connectors.
Where do you get codes from

I'm confused about the power supply wiring, does he just splice them or put them into the same sockets
Splice them into the existing wires
Followed as shown. Phone is unable to pick up bt module. Is there supposed to be an led lit on the bt module?
No LED on the module. Check that you have a good connection with the 2 power wires (Red and the Black), and be sure that the red is connected to a "live" wire, to make sure she powers up.

Perhaps a silly question, but is there a chance the bluetooth module slowly drains the battery?
No, not with the default wiring loom. Maybe if someone has re-wired the power wire to bypass the ignition system and running it directly off the battery...

Turn up phone volume first..............
Will the module turned off with ignition switch ? Thanks
Yes, it is connected via the radio. Radio off, module off.

Try turning phone off, reboot and turn on bluetooth again...make sure Radio is on "Aux"
