  • A great Pilates Workout will work on abs, glutes, thighs AND more. In this Pilates mat class we’ll spend a little extra time working out the glutes and thighs and I really don’t think you can do Pilates without getting stronger abs.

    This mat Pilates class has a vigorous flow, but as always, I’ll talk you through it and you can use different variations for any exercise to ensure you are working the right areas of your body and opt out all together if needed.
    We will get started right away by waking up the abs, move to strengthening the back of the legs, go back to the abs and we will keep trying to really fatigue the targeted muscle group before moving to a different area of the body. I have some really fun(that usually means challenging;)) variations on some exercises that are typically performed on Pilates equipment.
    Grab a cushy mat and join me on the mat for a Pilates class in under 25 minutes that will strengthen, stretch and tone your body, calm the mind and leave your spirit feeling uplifted.

    Beth, my daughter and I never know when you're going to go full throttle! This is a full-throttle class - very good but very challenging for me, and even challenging for my very fit daughter!

    I'm brand new to pilates, stepping away from high intensity cardio and strength training for a while and let me just say, pilates is not what I expected! Fast pace or slow, pilates is kicking my butt! I'm glad I found your channel.

    AWESOME!!!! I loved this workout. I am going to share with my workout friend. She doesn't like typical yoga or pilates stuff because it's slow. Loved the quick pace!

    Thanks again Beth. As a former competitive Weightlifter, i confess i was sceptical about how much Pilates would work the quads. Well this has totally changed my mind and my quads are shaking as i type! My respect for you has also swollen more! Thanks again from a cold and windy Ireland! Colin.

    Oh my, I have never watched that thin red line at the bottom (to see how much more time was left) than I did for this session! Not knowing what was coming helped :)

    It was fun to see you struggle on this one.
    I really enjoyed the pace which is odd because I usually prefer movements to have longer pauses in between.

    I'm out of my regular weight lifting because of injury (bad inflammation and irritation in the joints and tendons), and my doctor recommended pilates as a less intense form of exercise. I thought I would hate it, but I have to say it feels great to stretch the muscles while working them too, and I have to do the level 1 classes just to stick to the low intensity part. Pilates will definitely be apart of my routine even when I get better

    This one is really tough, at the end I was really sweating!!! The more I repeat this session, the more I can controll it, the targt is to be able to do the 06:25 exercise!!!!

    the one that i saved, i recall the thigh workout, lying on the side on the mat, one leg bend, another leg move one leg front and back, and next - bend the leg to chest and then eling, third - turn the leg a bit on the side and then move up and down abt 30degrees, after that another move (difficult for me to explain) one leg up in the air and then bend, last make the same leg rotate clockwise and anti-clockwise, stretch and that's it.
    That video is really good, slow and steady. You mentioned in the video "now you know, what you're getting into ..". I love that video. Do you still have it?

    I love this programme but it tends to be fast for me. Could you make a little bit slower version with same sequence? I do this every night, but the changing position is quick, so i rewind a few seconds and i can not follow the flow.😂
    Thank you always your video. I can work out enjoyable pilates with you in this Covid situation.

      This is a faster paced class. There may be some newer classes with a pace that you like better.

    I struggle with a lot of workouts because I don't have feet, ankles and I'm missing a knee but a lot of these I can do or I can repeat a sequence and adapt it so I'm still feeling where I'm supposed to! I've been stuck in a wheelchair for 6 months after having my knee amputated and my hip flexor are stiff as a board so I'm hopeful this will help!

    all your videos move a little to fast for true pilates engagement. I like them, I just slow them down.
