If i had to guess, chassis 1 is a factory truck, it's got everyones name on it and it sits in the plant. Chassis 2 is elons. Chassis 3 is cheif engineer. That's kind of typical. When we did the H2, chassis 1 was a factory truck, 2 blew up an engine and ended up getting crash tested, 3 was rick wagoners. Two of the very low vins went to arnold schwarzenegger.
Notice that nobody here has even mentioned once that this Cybertruck might actually be a good truck to do actual work. I suspect that these wanna-be buyers are all urbanites and suburbanites who would be horrified at the thought of getting their truck dirty or putting the smallest scratch on it (even inside the truck box, which is meant to carry stuff). It seems like the main thing that they anticipate doing with this truck is just driving down the road and parking somewhere, hoping that bystanders will think that they look cool.
If I had the money and the house for it, I would’ve bought this in a heartbeat. This looks sick asf. This is the most futuristic sick truck ever built.

My nephew is with Fire & Rescue. They get called to car accidents all the time and often have to use cutting tools and hydraulic jaws to free the occupants. He says they would have great difficulty cutting someone out of a stainless steel box with wheels (Cybertruck) in the event of a serious crash.
During the delivery event, I noticed that Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian was one of the first few people to get a Cybertruck. That is so awesome for them! 🤗🥰

With the single micron tolerance that Elon is aiming for how many service centers in your local area do you think are going to be able to repair that damage? It's relatively easy to match paint and panels in traditional cars for color when they get replaced do you really think you're going to be able to replace a stainless steel hunk of steel as easily? Just because of the body panels are stainless steel does not mean all of the linkages and connectors are as robust. Finding replacement parts and getting those connectors and linkages are going to be the most expensive part of any repair bill with this vehicle. While we are on the topic of stainless steel vehicles, think about this. What do you think is going to happen to a car that has crumpled zones designed into it to absorb the kinetic energy of an impact when a slab of stainless steel runs into it at 50 miles an hour? This thing is a death trap for any vehicle that is hit by this overweight slab of metal that is being advertised as having an autopilot that doesn't exist.

How many parts are going to have to come from a Tesla facility? Who outside of Tesla is going to be certified to repair this damage? My only issue with EV's is the gargantuan lie that they are environmentally friendly or energy efficient, nothing could be further from the truth! They used to call this kind of lie the purest form of propaganda. Force = mass x acceleration (E=mc^2), when you double the mass with the battery pack...you double the force or energy required, it's just simple math or common sense.
I thought the cyber truck was cool from the start but now seeing it theres bits that it could have been better, but again it is a cool vehicle and the era of futuristic styling is more 80s b movie sci-fi cars...which is actually why i liked it originally for its rare concept aspect

I like the final scaled down version a lot more than the initial size. I also really like the idea of chassis spotting on those as well.
