    Good to see you again and thanks for the update. In 4+ months and 2000 kms, my X1 Stealth has been problem free. I have yet to aim a water hose near the ASI controller (2nd version) but will need to soon as my bike needs a thorough cleaning. Hope the ASI will still function afterwards otherwise I will need an X6. Looking forward to next review with "torque sensor" performance.

      2nd version should be fine after washing. If controller didn't fail already than sealing holds water out from connector.

    Can't find stats, what is max power, voltage etc. for this controller?

    Would you say the X6 causes more wear on the chain and cogs due to the additional torque? Is it close to the breakage point of bicycle parts?
    Been thinking the Rohloff Speed hub would be pushed to acceptable limits when it rates at 250N.m., as the 200N.m./280N.m. X1 pro at 72v. Paired with the Gates belt drive would be golden!
    Did you do a ride video after the X6 is fixed?

      I plan to prepare detailed video of riding experience with this controller. Just hard to find enough free time for this.
      Talking about drive train strength. All steel casettes are good to go, forget about any aluminium ones. My preference are BOX Components drivetrains. They are built to last. No fancy fragile solutions, small amount of gears (8 or 9 only), heavy solid steel for casettes and derailleurs. It works great with X1 Pro and other powerfull motors.
      Rolhoff can take the beating, but it's extremelly expensive. 1000 EUR just for a hub? Lol.

    Nie mogę się doczekać jak rozkręcisz na części CYC PHOTON. Ciekaw jestem jak on tam wygląda w środku.

    Jaka jest długość przewodu ,który idzie do wyświetlacza? Jak tak patrzę na stop klatkę w 2 minucie to wygląda niestety że jest trochę krótszy względem tego w ASI?

    My bac 2000 broke and i bought an x6. I didnt want an bac2000 because mine died of water damage and the mounting was really bad. I hope my x6 works and doesnt broke. Pedal assist is not that important for me and i am running at 52V so the power differnt hopefully is not that huge

      Mounting system for X6 is much, much better than for ASI, not mentioning waterproofness. And this controller gives really good kick to CYC motors.

    awesome! how is the new motor and controller holding up after riding a few hundred miles? all is well?

      This X6 controller failed just recently, after few months of use. I sent it back to CYC for inspection, still waiting for information what happened with it. It was first batch of these controllers, so typical "teething" problems.

      @@LierskogenEbikes holy crap that's not very promising. Keep us updated on how long they make you wait for a replacement under warranty. I'd be pissed. That's the second x6 failure I've heard of.

    Czy nowy kontroler CYC X6 jest kompatybilny z wyświetlaczem 750c ,który był dostępny z zestawem CYC X1 STEALTH gen.1 ? Pytam bo mój ASI BAC855 umarł po 6 miesiącach użytkowania. Teraz zastanawiam się nad tym nowym ale nie uśmiecha mi się kupować trzeciego wyświetlacza. Obecnie mam oryginalnego 750c i Eggrider v2.

    • @LierskogenEbikes
      @LierskogenEbikes  Рік тому

      750c i 500c działają, ale nie jest możliwa zmiana trybu z Race na Street. Aplikacja na komorke do nowego kontrolera jest jeszcze strasznie zabugowana.

    What's your opinion of the x6 after use?I bought one while I sent my bac855 to be replaced under warranty.Wasn't long taking the x6 off again when i received my new bac855!

    • @LierskogenEbikes
      @LierskogenEbikes  Рік тому +1

      X6 gives MUCH bigger torque than BAC855. It's so big on my Stealth gen 1, that I had to tune down the torque to like 30% for level 1, which I use the most on flat road rides. For heavy uphill slopes I crank up the torque to like 60%. I think that shows the difference between both controllers. The only downside of X6 is that it gives a little bit too jerky power surges, BAC855 is more fluent. BAC855 has low initial torque so probably that explains why it feels more subtle. CYC needs to work more on torque sensor settings for X6.
