I bought the Optima LX back in 2015, I've lowered it with Eibach springs, upgraded the tires and wheels to 18 inch rims with 235/45/18 tires, also installed a catch can. I retired right after I bought it so now it only has 42k on the odometer. I love this car. I always keep it clean, freshly waxed and in the garage. No the first car, the one the host is standing next to. Those are 60 profile at least
@@Vanguardkl They're 205/65 R16 for the base model. Good call on those 60s!
@@StalewindFarto hey thanks for checking. Good info on the actual size. I will try and look that up too, but for sure that's the thickest tires on a new 2021 model. i drive a 2010 kia forte and it has 215/45 r17s
Much nicer sheet metal and design than the ugly Sonata, but it's always in everyone's mind ,when will the engine problems start, or have they already?
That shifter looks so out of place and dated.
Kia made this car look fast asf but really it's slow asf.
Great car except for the stupid looking comic book front end. The Optima was a much more human name. I though K5 was a breakfast cereal. Do you remember "Product 19" cereal?
Changing the name means nothing. Korea has always called it the K5.
I love it
you are correct no matter what name is on junk its still junk shame on motor week
Judge disagree. No one is saying Kia/Hyundai are yet on the level of Honda, BMW, etc. However they are much better than almost all of the American owned Auto Makers. I did use to be a skeptic myself of Kia/Hyundai. After owning an '18 Kia Optima for almost 3 years now (as of July '21)I have been pleasantly surprised at how good it has run. The Sedans such as the Sonatas and Optima/K5 are the best thing that Kia/Hyundai makes. Its the other models such as their SUV's and their Kia Soul that tends to break down much more.
Engine is too small the a big car like K5.
Now that's a car...that wont go past 150k miles they look good feel ok to drive nothing of them last the test of time but the know nothing consumer just buys up the flashy looks
Its ugly
Too bad it's ugly
السلام عليكم ممكن اشتكر في قناةِ وتعفل جزسر تبهي معك راكان الحمد قناةِ راكان الحمد
slow
Brakes are great because it was never going that fast to begin with, the video shows a lazy car with a under-powered 4 cylinder. Nothing about this says, "let me buy this brand new" Looks like something to pick up cheap in the used car market.
Y'all drive these cars like a bunch of pansies
Don't fall for Kia's cheap cars reliability is horrible,
..
I owned a 2011 Soul for 5 years. Didn't have any issues other than 1 or 2 warranty work and purge valve going out ($20 fix). Sold it but was still running like a clock after 102K miles.
We've driven Hyundais and Kias for twenty years, and they've been solid, dependable vehicles. They wouldn't give you that killer warranty if they weren't. When we've needed it, they've honored it.
싼티가 좔좔 흐르네
The new Kia k5 looks mean
The most ridiculous car I have ever seen in my life just wait a few years and see how stupid the car looks
2020 Sonata is no different.
I think it looks great!
Nah.... still looks like it’s cheap AF.
Rental car, at best.
I thought KIA was affordable, huh, lol. $25g's for a KIA, it's nice, but $25g' nice, I dunno?
They've been going upscale and are starting to actually be really nice
Welcome to 2020 pal
It’s the cheapest out of the competitors camry, Altima, accord, and I’m not sure if I’m missing any others can be 2-5 grand more expensive when fully loaded out and 1-2g less than the others in the lower trims
sounds like somebaody hasn't looked at new cars lately.
