Welcome to 1960's rock & roll. Being born in the 1950's myself, I've enjoyed it my whole life. You've got lots of great stuff to look forward to, from the 60's and 70's.
Two songs you'll probably like by them are "Creeque Alley" and "Monday, Monday". I was a preteen when they were popular, so their music is a part of my life. Thanks!
That was so fun watching your reaction😁 this is my favorite song so this is my reaction pretty much every time I listen to it!🤣 Some info about the group: the skinny blonde (Michelle Phillips) and the guy with guitar (John Phillips) were married, the other girl and guy are Cass Elliot (the most famous of the bunch who had her own solo career) and Denny Doherty. They were part of their own group and eventually they all came together to form The Mamas & The Papas😊 there was a lot of drama within the group during the 2 years they were together but man did they put out some amazing music
I was born in 1970 this song reminds me of being little and going to the beach with my family…and learning to ride a bike etc…I don’t know why but this brings me that nostalgic feeling of being a kid in the 70’s
I'm glad to see that you made it to my era great group with amazing harmonies. The heavy lady cass Elliott otherwise known as mama Cass had the most dynamic and powerful voice of that era unfortunately we lost her very early she Suffocated and died in her sleep They had a number of great hits that when you get the time and come back to this band you'll be able to check those records out I saw her again,Monday monday, dedicated to the one I love, cass Left the band and went out on her own as a solo artist and had a couple of great songs as well they replaced her in this band with spanky I believe McFarland, who was in a band called spanky and our gang her voice was good but was not as dynamic as Cass, that was a great reaction I Love that you guys were rocking out. I love watching people listen to music that I'm so familiar with, and then when I see them react. It brings it all back for me, so thank you very much,God's blessings. Keep spreading the music around.❤
Another suggestion for reactions is Bob Dylan, his songs are powerful, and have something to say, especially Blowing In The Wind, and Like A Rolling Stone
