I love how the camo on the gun matches that on this guy's jacket.
First lite Camo
I love guns 🇨🇦
Sure for an extra 200 dollars lol.
Love it! Keep raising the bar SIG..
Man, I hope they make a left handed bolt version of this.
Thank you for making this rifle.
I love this rifle! Attention to detail is stellar… I've Watch 5 or 6 videos about this rifle and I can't wait to get my hands on one!
Suggestion: make a 3'' arca rail that can fit right in front of the magazine, so the rifle can rest on a tripod right on the pivot point. I know the M-loc would alow a rail to fit under the forend, but probably not Under the pivot point. My 2 cents!
I'll b getting one for sure
cannot wait to get this rifle hopefully its sold in canada
The most original gun review. Ever. Ever
Already talked to my local FFL dealer to put in an order on one. Just sucks I gotta wait 5 months now
I know it's been a bit of time but any updates regarding the upcoming 24inch barrels in 308?
So I guess in about a year and a half they should be on gen3 and it will be an awesome rifle. Can't wait.
Can you PLEASE make a sig cross is larger short action calibers like 6.5prc, pretty please
Daniel I have been waiting 2 years for 6.5 Creed barrel kit for my 308 Cross..when will the barrel kits be available?
When is this finally going to be released for sales?
Mantap
I see this rifle as being a modern battle bolt Acton rifle. Or even being a scout rifle that Jeff Cooper wanted.
What model suppressor you recommend for the sig cross in 308?
what scope do you have on the rifle in the video?
I need this in my life. 🙋🏾♂️😂
Looking for martial advice, would the wife be ok if i sold a bunch of shit in my house to get this?
Awesome jacket what model is it ?
Checking in on this 2 years later. I'm ready for additional barrel lengths and chamberings! What say ye Sig?
I know this comment is old, but Schnee's and Straight Jacket Armory both make aftermarket barrels with additional chamberings!
What is the scope power mounted on this firearm?
I will probably consider getting one if they ever make it in a wider variety of calibers, or maybe in a few years when there are more ammo sources for the .277 fury with the hybrid casings. The .277 fury is really only worth considering if you are using the hybrid steel/brass ammo due to the higher pressure tolerances. I'd like to see it come out in a few more calibers like 6.5 PRC, 300 PRC, 300 win mag, or 28 Nosler. I just have no interest in a 6.5 CM or another .308.
Would be all over this in 300wm supressed
2 years later and the available calibers are the same lol
@@1993leonardoluis and I still haven't bought one! Lol
Is this going to be available in left handed?
Did they remove the dust cover on the later generations?
How much and when is it available
I want one so bad
I wish theyd do more with AR10 mags vs AICS... i mean its great magpul makes those now but still a lot more money for a mag.
if this would be from bergara, I‘d own one since it came out, still waiting for a final product
Sig please, make a video explaining the differences between a traditional bedded action/chassis vs the one piece receiver design used in the Cross. All the UA-cam experts are killing me.
I'll solve this for you. It removes an accuracy affecting factor. Because there are no screws to need tightening and no action to mount, the single piece receiver just has less avenues to positively or negatively effect your accuracy.
@@EnterTheFenix I understand the differences but 90% of YT doesn't.
Read up on Q’s the Fix and you’ll get your answers...since that’s what Sig copied to produce this rifle 😂 this is a knock-off version of the Fix. Plenty of short cuts made I’m sure. Sig, I love some of your pistols but don’t try to steal the credit on this rifle design. Man up and at least tell people what you based it off of
@@mattwinters913 you’re talking out of your @$$. Fake experts annoy the crap out of me.
Is the receiver made from a 6000 or 7000 series aluminum?
Love the gun, can you hand load the 277 fury with the aluminum washer and steel base?
There's a shot show video of the guy describing the 277 fury cartridge. It's stainless steel, aluminum and brass all in one. The cartridge is hallowed out to allow more powder. Something like 80,000psi of chamber pressure. Seems like it's going to absolutely torch barrels even more than 6.5. It's a developmental cartridge for the DOD.
Any chance the Sig Cross might be chambered in 6.8 Western? I'm a CO Elk hunter and that's what I want.
Is there a left-handed version?
still waiting on that full length scope base..
What bipod adaptor is on his cross?
Sig already has a incredible scope lineup, now this?!..that's a hostile takeover! .......NICE!!
Personally I think the Seekins Precision Havak HIT has you beat. At least I hope so, because I’ve got one on order with two barrels. A .308 & 6mm Creedmoor as well as a magnum bolt head in case I want to shoot magnum cartridges. I can get extra barrels for $400 each. 🤞
What is the buttstock made of, aluminum or polymer?
Let me tell you what makes this rifle special...it’s the Q’s Fix but half the cost.
I’m sold :)
I'm sure it will lube nicely with Kevin Brittingham's tears. That guy hasn't stopped crying that Sig copied him despite the fact the two rifle's are only similar features and appearance not design. 😭😭😭
I want to buy one but cant find anyone who has the .277 if anyone can please tell me where I would greatly appreciate it
He mentions being able to purchase pre-fit barrels… does SIG sell these?
What’s up with the dust cover? Do they all have that
SIG SAUER please make a 8.6 BlackOut barrel for the CROSS PLEASE..
I am a big fan of Sig products and, coincidentally, I was in the market for a bolt action tactical rifle that didn't weigh a ton when I first learned of the Cross about a month ago. I checked both locally and online and couldn't find a single one so I wrote to Sig asking when I could get one and asked if they would have an 18" or 20" barrel available for the .308. About a week later I received a reply that the Cross hasn't been released yet and he didn't know when it would be nor did he have info on the availability of a longer barrel. I just now checked again and the Cross is still not available in my area or online. Why promote this rifle when it clearly isn't for sale? So, when the guy in the video says to check with your local dealer, don't waste your time....he doesn't have one.
It's available now ╰( ̄ω ̄o)
My favorite feature will be the four figures to the left of the decimal point in the price (optics not included).
The fact that I called this as having a price above $999.99 before I knew the actual price says a lot about SIG these days...
I would like to see a .243 Win. barrel available for that rifle. I think alot of people would.
Craig Johnson yes, or a 6 creed would work
20 and 22 inch barrels?
Welp, I know which hunting rifle I’m going with 👍
It will probably arrive here in the UK in 10 years
When will it be available in Germany?
What in the world is .277 SIG fury? Does this have anything to do with 6.8 mm hybrid? Starting to sound like Weatherby and all of their crazy calibers.
@Easliy Displeased www.gunsamerica.com/digest/277-sig-fury-demystified/
Hi Sig, is a 416 Rigby caliber available?
Ha-ha, ha-ha, ha-ha!
Best shooter in the world says it, take my money 🤑🤑🤑
"first bolt action rifle..."
Sad SSG 3000 noises
Alex S Sig US and Sig Sauer are separate companies
Alex... little secret for you.. watch next IWA show and enjoy....
Sad Tac 2 noises
Alex S, in one respect you are correct. SSG 3000 is a bolt action Rifle, but the Cross is a mating of the AR frame and bolt action. Got to love them at Sig Sauer for innovation. For Hagen's reply Sig US/ Sig Sauer are one and the same as far as I know.
@@Michael50Saints except Q did it better with the Fix.. You can see yourself out, sir.
I want more info bbn on the .277
Yep I want to see the ballistics tables...
Any updates as to the recall?
looks like it's cleared up.
New batches started to come in about 4 months ago, I missed out on the first two shipments, told a couple guys I wanted one badly at a place I deal with.
Spent enough flow to make some friends, on the next order arrival, the guy called me at 10am, by the time i got there at lunch he was holding the last one for me behind the counter.
I am in love with this art piece.
Price , please ! Thanks
maybe make a video explaining why they let out a whole bunch of them with dangerous triggers? lucky no one was killed.
Daniel Horner the Michael Jordan of 3 gun
When is this gun going to be sold? It's almost August and there is no gun
Good new gun2020
monopod?
Why does your rifle have a dust cover but others do not?
Will there be a 24'' version in 277 fury?
Vaale no, the .277 will be a 16”
The 6.5 comes in a 18”
@@Frostygames1775 The video states (ua-cam.com/video/thDiECyCGeU/v-deo.html , 48 seconds in) that there will be a precision 24'' variant in addition to the 16 and 18 inch versions. The question is will there be a 24'' barreled version for 277 fury (in addition to the 16''), or will this only be for 6.5 and .308?.
Do members of AMU get to keep the money and prizes they win while on the team?
Matt Tyler Yes
I almost bought one of these yesterday on buds. Then I saw the serial number options only went to 9000 and remembered thats about 41000 before they'll get it running right...#beenburned3times.
love the portability hate the accuracy........waiting on 277 fury......when would it be? or some other companies will come out with thr own version...
Why still no 277 fury?
Wish they had ar mag releases
Seems like a more affordable option to the Fix.
Why no 30.06?
How about a 7mm-08?
To bad these things don’t have an expected in store delivery date!! I want one! I need one! But can’t get one!! Give us an update when they will be available. Thanks.
Basically a SIG SAUER version of Remington MSR?
co le Sig copy of the Fix by Q
Is it a copy if it’s the same people?
@@Not_Andrew_Huberman I don't think so, its probably a copy but they've improvised something
I'd consider this an improvement on the Q Fix design. The Fix had too many flaws, IMO.
Does it have a left hand model?
I also would be interested in this if they produce them for left hand
Same here - but if you have to have a left handed bolt....go look at the Tikka T3 Lite. Love, love, love mine in lefty
Brian W hahaha!!! My left hand is el diablo!
I'm not sure I understand the design choice in relying on a folding stock to keep the bolt in place. Considering for years there have been rifles that have had three position safety and the third position was usually just to keep the bolt locked in place.
Makes the rifle fold a little flatter than if the stock were to fold on the left side and have the bolt handle sticking out on the right.
@@Briggsian That may be, but it has little to do with my criticism 2:57-3:04 he isn't talking about the folding stock making the profile of the rifle flatter when folded.
Folding stock is nice but I agree a 3 pos safety would be very welcome
@@FrostRocket92 I think that the bolt being locked by the stock while folded is meant to be more of a side benefit of it folding on that side. But yeah, they definitely could have added a 3 position safety so you don't have to keep it folded to lock the bolt.
@Easliy Displeased Didn't know it could be made to fold on either side. That's pretty nifty
Why is there no info on the round? 277 fury? Max effective range? Stopping power? How does it compare to 6.5 creedmoor? We kind of want to know. The lack of info makes us serious shooters wonder if this round is a flop
I understand the differences between the 2 fraternal twins that Sig and Q have produced and although I think I’d like the fix I’ll probably end up getting your rifle because it checks all the boxes at half the cost with a warranty dept that I trust and I won’t have to wait a year to get it.
That said, It’s insulting to keep bragging about how Sig looked at what was missing in the market and came up with this design! If your going to basically copy the Fix rifle by Q you could at least use a different marketing ploy. Don’t you have a Marketing dept? They couldn’t even figure out a different avenue for this rifle? The idea has been on the market for almost 2 years in this exact configuration. A lot of people may not know better and with the powerhouse that Sig is will probably consider this the original, but, it’s totally shady business.
There’s no way that Q can compete in marketing or production, just be honest about what you do and you’ll totally eat KB’s lunch with this rifle.
Kevin B from Q worked at Sig and possibly even on this project before he started Q.
Adam Mackey Smith
Thank you Sir, I’m aware of that. Without KB Sig wouldn’t have the awesome Suppressor division that they’re making a killing with.
I’ve heard that KB is complaining that Sig totally copied his design so I can only assume that he didn’t work on it while he was there- which would be similar to the situation where he started the Honey Badger while still running AAC.
Personally I’m happy to see the competition in the market place and I’ll probably get the Cross because it’s more affordable than the Fix, but, the Cross is a fitting name because they’re totally crossing a guy who they’ve previously had a relationship with and are acting like it’s totally their idea and design. Even the marketing is similar.
The more decent rifles there are out there the better it is for us regular guys, I just find it insulting when they pretend they’re the first to do it.
What will be the retail price?
My guess would be right around 2k
I thought they said MSRP was 1800 they expected to retail for around 1600.
@@alexanderroybal3311 yep
Did they get all the problems cleared up with these yet?
that question sums up sig sauer burning a bridge with every recent product release
Will this rifle be sold in Russia?
Why is there a disembodied head floating above a log holding nothing?
I see parts of a floating barrel. Weird.
I live sig, sadly I don't go hunting.
Frank Castle it’s actually a hybrid rifle. Built for competition and hunting.
Kevin, from Q, just left the chat room
The Fix uses SR25 mags, and a proprietary rail. One look and I was out.
I did the same with the Sig Cross because I saw a black mag in pictures, but a friend told me it uses AICS, so I'm in. Also, you can get it in camo, so that's like $300 saved.
Mass produce the .277 fury bullets and ill buy that caliber in that gun
Please make it in .308 with a 20" tube.
0:18 is me or is it a bit small for a bolt action rifle🤔
@Phix Oh, OK thanks
Their should be a 16.5" barrel version of the 6.5 Creedmoor made as well
There was in their testing but it had too much of a drop off for FPS out of the barrel compared to the 18 inch it comes with. They're gonna be interchangeable on the rifle as well
#indianarmy
Like 95% of the new calibers to come out in the last 50 years. The ammo will be priced so high that the general public will ignore it. They need to price some range ammo dirt cheap and then charge more for actual hunting ammo. Range ammo should be $20 a box. Hunting ammo can be $30 to $40. So many calibers are dead on arrival all because of the ammo price. Manufacturers shoot themselves in the foot every year by over pricing ammo so it costs too much to shoot.
Hmm, sketchy accuracy...unless you handload. Improve that, I'll buy. PLUS, chamber this rifle in 6mm ARC (now adopted by the military) you'll have a real winner. The concept is great, it just needs to be tweaked.
Say what?
These type of rifles are made to shoot prone with bipod, therefore the bolt should be on the other side ... sp the right hand is always holding the weapon and reload with the left hand.
You didn't thread the barrel, so I gotta deal with some dumb mount? C'mon, Sig. Don't be like Apple.
spraynpray its threaded. Watch again. It has an adapter for straight shoulder mounts.
“Most innovative hunting rifle in many, many, many years.” Imagine saying that with a straight face knowing Q’s The Fix has been on the market for several years now. This is hilarious. And completely ripped off.
Thank you: ua-cam.com/users/shorts2dri6q30lh0

I'll be using this to bag a moose
I wish you it took sr25 mags. 🥺
I am so glad it doesn't.
