Such high praise! Sounds like a great bike. I too like cadence sensors more since I ride to relax and not to work out, but based off your review.. this might be one to consider. I see Velotric sells in select stores as well so I'm gonna have to find one near me and do a test ride on it. Thanks for the detailed review Eric!
How do you think this compares to the Aventon line up? I know aventon has been around longer.. but to me it looks like Velotric is just as good if not better. My wife wants a torque sensor bike so I'll have to show her this one and see what she saids.
Try going up a steep long hill in pedal assist only, no throttle. I just bought one 2 months ago and upgraded the group set to a 9 speed with a 11-46 cassette because when riding up steep hills in pedal assist mode even in the top boost mode, it feels like I'm doing all the work with very little help. Please let me know what you think.
It originally shipped with a torque sensor, but they pushed out an update to make it cadence as well. So, it's not a "true" cadence sensor, but due to the software, it'll perform 100% the same.
As a samsung user, I agree! If I had to guess, I'm thinking Samsung isn't letting people integrate it while apple is. (which is pretty odd considering its apple who never shares)
I have a new 2. One thing I do not like as seen in this video and others is when peddling the handle bars move left and right. I hate that especially when you have heavy traffic passing on your left. I like to hug the curb and not accidently swerve into traffic. Also when stopped I often accidently touch the throttle an jump ahead slightly....annoying! I PREFER MOTORCYCLE THROTTLES
@marshall2 No look at the reviewers of the 2. When peddling the bars and bike itself move left and right. I ride the curb in traffic and do not like moving even a little towards traffic.
Bought my Discover 2 in November, it's a complete beast. I would highly recommend this bike
This a really good review , congratulations!
Keep the good work.
Cheers!
Thank you and thanks for watching!

Thanks for the detailed review Eric!
Eric. Excellent review !!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
My mom actually has the Discover 1. She rides it all the time and so far no issues!
Great to hear!

Any thoughts on range?
Great review Eric!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Tires are actually 27.5".
Eric. Where did you get the cable management (coil looking) for the bike ?
Hi, the The cable wrap actually came with the bike
Man.. you re right that the paint really sets off the bike!
Definitely some of the best paint I've seen on a bike!
I hesrd it has a dual sensor???

@@EricReviews thank you. Now it makes sense. Nobody ever told me this.
I wonder why everyone puts Apple Find My in bikes but no one uses Android compatible ones
As a samsung user, I agree! If I had to guess, I'm thinking Samsung isn't letting people integrate it while apple is. (which is pretty odd considering its apple who never shares)
Well, the iPhone is for the cool kids. I'm not a cool kid, thankfully, and I'll take Android over IPhone any day of the week 😎
Really good review , thank you
Torque sensors are good, but they really need to be adjusted and tuned properly.
Absolutely! I've tested some bikes with really choppy and bad torque sensors.
Never heard of Velotric but it definitely looks and sounds like a great bike!
Definitely! They've been around for a few years now and are definitely making a name for themselves. If you have any questions, just let me know!
Thank you for the promo code!
Happy to help!
Any idea if itll get cheaper across the upcoming Amazon Prime Day?
No idea but since its only a few days away.. might as well wait it out and see!
Amazon does not carry Velotric, so there's that 🤓
Love the apple find my but I need something compatible with Android
Yep.. Let's hope the samsung tag starts getting product integration as well. That or android integration for the apple find my

I don't understand. How does the handlebar move left and right? You mean like it's loose?
@marshall2 look at any of the review videos. When peddling handlebars move left right.

Hmm.. Interesting
Indeed! Thanks for watching
Don't even look at other bikes. Just take some random guy on UA-cam's advice.
