Wow what a comfortable ride.I am so glad I bought this bike. I have a disability so the low step through and the hydraulic fork is great. I am looking forward to many miles of joy. I am looking for a bag for the back.

Im just now starting to research my next e-bike (ready for an upgrade). As silly as it sounds, I completely agree with you about the subtle branding on the Discover 1 and I also love the softer colors with the addition of the gum tires. However, like you said this version has a ton of great upgrades that I can’t deny like the 750w motor, screen tech, torque sensor, turn lights. If only it had the key fob lock tech like the Radster. Thank so much for explaining and talking through the different modes - eco vs turbo. None of the other videos I’ve watched have explained that part clearly like you did. I guess this one is getting added to list for consideration. One question, what are your thoughts on the cable management. Compared to the D1, it looks like the cables are just everywhere. Is it as noticeable or distracting in person?

I prefer the more upright riding position of the Discover 2 as it's more comfortable for me on longer rides. The turn signals and cruise control are a big positive to me as well that the Level.2 does not have. To be fair, the Level.2 has been out for a while now and I would guess a new version (Level.3) would be coming out somewhat soon. I wish I could get this bike in Canada. I have the Aventon 500.3 and it's great. I think ebikes are only allowed to have 500w motor here and the Discovery 2 has a 750w one so perhaps that's the reason. Would like to smuggle one north ;)
This is not a high performance road or mountain bike, but as a comfortable, all around recreational bike, I agree it seems both well designed and well priced. It also seems more practical than the big, heavy fat-tired bikes that have been all the rage.

LOL......Even with the HORRIFIC customer complaints, poor quality control and poor customer service with Velotric.....I still find myself considering this bike. They did very well listening and delivering a product that checks off all the boxes for a wide range of consumers....I wonder if they will deliver on improving the quality and service. Research Velotric issues and it's scary. Imaging spending 1700 + tax USD for dreams of gliding along and you only get headaches of long phone calls, trouble shooting a list of issues...or weeks in a bike shop, not good at all.
This is false. We own 6 Velotric bikes and have reviewed them on this channel. Many of our neighbors and family members have Velotric bikes, too. With dozens of bikes in our sphere of influence, there have been zero complains of any kind. In fact, over 25,000 viewers have had the opportunity to comment and yours is actually the FIRST negative (venomous) comment. The data is not in favor of this being a widespread problem. Velotric has a 2 year warranty and over 1,000 physical service locations in the USA. -Producer Tim
